Motto: "I'll give up, when I'm off-lined!"
Weapon: Neutron Rifle
Name: BubbleGum
Allegiance: Autobothttp://www.seibertron.com/energo ... 0&t=44548#
Function: Warden/warrior
Alt. mode: Chrysler Volt
Height: 15ft. 10in.
Quote: "I'll give up when I'm offline, and we all now that won't happen anytime soon."

Strength: 7
Charisma: 8
Intelligence: 9
Tech Skill: 6
Dexterity: 8
Speed: 5
Fire Power: 9
Courage: 9
7
Endurance: 9

Profile: Despite being a small, bubble gum pink femme; BubbleGum is one of the most important of Cybertron history. Created before Megatron and Orion Pax were even thought of, BubbleGum is the oldest LIVING Cybertronian in existance. Her stealth is helped by her inability to speak after a tragic accident during Cybertron's fall.

Abilities: Since she is unable to speak, her silence is usually used in stealth required missions. Her size and gummy color usually draw attention off her as they believe her threat is minor, and being a true intelligent bot, she uses this to her abilities at any chance she obtains.

Weaknesses:Although very helpful for stealth, the inability to speak makes alerts or coms (voice required communication)nearly impossible. Despite the screen mounted on her chest that shows what she says, if trying to tell someone something or send an alert, B.G is helpless. Due to her age, her spark is connected to her frame in a sense; thus, her spark cannot be removed form her frame, or she will offline. Her looks may be deceiving, but when her name comes out, BubbleGum becomes the main target, all want the Warden's secrets and tales; then they want her offline.

Sample Post:
Walking through base, alone of course, always made BubbleGum uneasy. This was the third time Megatron had gone after her, just the thought of him made her shiver. Why? Why was she fearing him? She never feared him, or anyone else! Maybe it was because he almost had her? No, he almost had her plenty of times....Maybe it was because of the damage he did? NO, she'd "died" three times already and- wait... That was it! He KNEW who she was!! Or had been, he KNEW her!
Like a gust of wind, memories ebbed their way into her mind. BrightLight, her first form; a simple clean up bot who met a mech that changed everything... Escaleen; her next form taken after she crashed the Quintison ship to save the autobot cause...Joined with the decepticons, caring for no one, planning to jump sides with every new form... Tailblaizer; the form after Escalleen's death against Omega Supreme, warden for the autobots, and a mentor of Sideswipe and Sunstreker. BubbleGum...her form at the moment, received after making the fatal mistake of passing over the con Shockwave...
Shockwave... BubbleGum's hand met her chest screen; hurt ebbing into her spark. She'd seen him, she'd seen him there, but...she just couldn't...she couldn't do it...couldn't take him down, and she'd paid the ultimate price: any chance of truly SPEAKING again. She was the only one who'd let it go, never held a grudge against him...and only SHE knew that when she passed over him, it wasn't a mistake, she never made mistakes. As the pastel colors of morning cascaded into the sky, B.G stepped outside.
~Okay Megatron...~ the words typed across her screen soundlessly, ~You know who I am...~

Starting at the top...the name is a no go.
Can't have two functions
For a full size car she's only the size of a minibot you've also missed her height in meters
Melee is missing in the stat list and once it's added you'll be over your 70 point stat allotment anyway.
You cannot mention any other characters in your profile unless you are given permission by their players...even if the characters are canon.

Unfortunately this character has an ample amount of problems and therefore I cannot approve it.

Denied.

Motto: "I'll give up, when I'm off-lined!"
Weapon: Neutron Rifle
Name: Raizai
Allegiance: Autobots
Function: warrior/messenger
Alt. Mode: jaguar
Weapons: Claws, Neutron Assault Rifle, Battle Axe
Height: 14ft. 4.27m
Quote: "Trust must be EARNED. It is not just given."

Strength: 3
Intelligence: 4
Dexterity: 6
Speed: 3
Endurance: 4
Courage: 3
Fire Power: 5
Accuracy: 5
Melee: 9
Tech Skill: 2
Charisma: 5

Profile: Taken by the cons at a vulnerable stage; Raizai is very cautious and easily startled, at least, at first. This Femme will make you earn her trust, one way or another. You want to be on her good-side, because if you get into a hand-to-hand combat battle with this, although young, strong femme, you are sure to leave with damage.

Abilities: GREAT at hand-to-hand combat, her claws ensure that the enemy will not leave in perfect condition. Her slender body easily slips into small cracks and openings that are too small for others.

Weaknesses: Easily mislead by lies. Her optics glow of an unusual pink, making her shadowy hiding spots practically alert anyone that she is there. Not a fast runner, armor weighs her down and tires her out quickly.

Sample Post:
Her feet clumsily scrambled, she had to go, and to go NOW! She could hear the snarling and growling, the snapping of sticks and branches that scattered the ground. She was to slow, but transforming into her jaguar form might confuse an autobot. She was option-less, where was she to turn? Who could she trust? No one, no one could be trusted; why? Because no one ever saved her, no one even tried!!
She skid to a stop. No one KNEW her, that was why she wasn't saved, no one was aware of her existance... She was taken so early... Only one bot had known her; her gentle grip on the axe in her left hand increased into a violent one. That bot was gone... Sometime she began dashing again, she didn't know when, those moments had just slipped by like a blurr. How long HAD she been running? The growls behind her made her pace quicken, her breath came out in short, sharp gasps.
"Stay...Alive...Stay...Alive..." The axe was now pressed tightly against her small chest; she wasn't ready for the 'well of all-sparks' so to speak. Running for her life only made it harder for her to concentrate; she was weakening, slowing, loosing her will to keep going. Even her terror couldn't keep her going any longer. Then, as though by some saving grace, a crack was showing out of a cliff side. Not big enough for a Predacon, but just big enough for a Raizai! Without hesitation, she dived for the crack; she'd just scrambled to her feet and pressed her back up against the wall, when the feet stampeded into the area, this was it; the time where she was either going to get off-lined... or she would live, and finally see freedom. She closed her optics, her breath caught up in her throat. This, was her trial.

I want to try this. I don't know if this will be acceptable because of the style this one is, also the originality. This is not based on the Generation 1 or... any line of transformers. This fanmade one is generally closest to either animated or movie series.

Name: Avalanche
Allegiance: Autobots
Function: Light warrior
Alt. mode: Chevrolet Avalanche
Weapons: Dual arm blades
Special Abilities: Low fuel consumption
Height: 25 feet/ 7.62 meters
Quote: “Survive to adapt, adapt to survive.”

Strength: 4
Intelligence: 5
Dexterity: 5
Speed: 7
Endurance: 6
Courage: 6
Firepower: 4
Accuracy: 8
Melee: 9
Tech Skill: 6
Charisma: 3
Rank: 5

Profile: Parting from her home world, Cybertron, Avalanche makes do with life on Earth. Her shape, thin, doesn't really help her strength much, only able to lift small cars. She is descent for a truck 'former, an average 25'. Her vehicle mode is a white 2010 Chevrolet Avalanche to suit her name perfectly.
She is drawn with the simplicity of an Animated character mixed with the realistic armor from the movie trilogy.

Abilities: Her choice of a very fuel efficient vehicle mode also is beneficial for a prolonged trip. She can clear a trip from New York to Alabama and back without stopping. Her top speed is 250 mph without traffic.

Weaknesses: Her rank as Light Warrior makes her lack better weapons. She is only equipped with dual arm blades, grenades, and a pistol. Being thin also hampers her strength, being able to lift 300 pounds or less.

Sample post:
Arizona
5:30 P.M.
A road lies in the most desolate area of Arizona. Then a white truck streaks by. Close up of the tailgate shows a silver :BOT: as the truck speeds by. There's an armadillo in the road. The truck screeches to a stop and transforms. The thin robot scoots the creature across the road with a smile. She transforms back into a Chevrolet Avalanche and darts off again. One destination in mind... California.

We really need more then this before this app can be approved. We look for at least a paragraph in each of the profile and abilities section. You could fill out these sections with details about her history and personality. The abilities section could use more information on her abilities and weapons. A physical description of her would also be useful, in addition to the rest. While her stats are acceptable I would point out that they make her a very ineffective warrior. While a high melee score is nice it is pretty much cancelled out by her lack of strength and slow speed and only average dexterity. In a battle she wouldn't last along against even below average opponents. I would recommend picking just one function and focusing the character and her stats on that. I think you would have more fun playing an effective character who is at least good at what he or she does.

This profile needs some filling out. Describing her history and personality would help, along with more details on what she can do. A more specific physical description would help as well. The sample post needs work too, as we are looking for what your character is thinking about and doing so we can get a better grasp of your writing and your character.

Postby Farwalker » Mon Sep 03, 2012 2:15 am

It's been awhile since I played this character on any site, so I've had to revamp a couple of things on her.

Name: Fang
Allegiance: Decepticon
Function: Warrior
Alt. mode: Wolf
Weapons: Energon whip in robot form, teeth/claws and shoulder guns in alternate mode
Special Abilities: Similar to the Autobot Hound, Fang is able to track others either in robot or alt. mode.
Height: 24 feet, 7.3 meters
Quote: What are you doesn't define who you are.'

STRENGTH: 5
INTELLIGENCE: 6
DEXTERITY: 7
SPEED: 4
ENDURANCE: 6
COURAGE: 7
FIREPOWER: 4
ACCURACY: 5
MELEE: 7
TECH SKILL: 4
CHARISMA: 3
RANK: Assigned by RPG moderators.

Profile: Originally a Neutral, Fang was 'drafted' into the Decepticon army when a raiding party came upon her family unit when she was a youngling. While most were either terminated or sent off as slaves, Fang's age changed her fate. Deemed young enough to be taught complete loyalty to the Decepticon cause but old enough to fight, Fang was taken for training. That proved to be a dark time in Fang's life. As Neutrals as poorly viewed by both sides, she came to bear the brunt of her peers' frustration and anger. Many times Fang was left barely able to move, let alone fight.

Fang was greatly affected by this in time. She learned to fight back, but also became withdrawn and eventually came to personify the Earth term lone wolf. It's safe to say that Fang doesn't play well with others anymore and will readily tear into anyone who pushes her enough. Only when directly ordered to will she actually work with the other Decepticons. Otherwise she will keep her distance whenever possible.

Abilities: As a fighter, Fang prefers to get up close and personal with her opponent. For this reason, she will most often go into battle in her alt mode. In this form, she is better able to track her target and to go undetected by anyone looking for ariel attacks. This gives her more time to formulate a plan of attack. Her teeth and claws can easily tear through common armor, sometimes right down to the vital wiring if she chooses the right location. If that doesn't work, she will use her shoulder guns to pick off any targets within a 400 yard radius. When charging a target, Fang can reach a maximum speed of 82 mph. If she attacks in robot mode, she will use her energon whip. This is generally stored within her right wrist and can be pulled out via her right palm. The charge and length can vary depending on how much of an output Fang allows. Maximum charge is enough to melt through all but the thickest armor and maximum length can be 42 feet.

Weaknesses: Fang is extremely claustrophobic and will refuse to enter enclosed areas unless forced. If she is forced into a small space, she will use whatever means to escape being cornered in such a fashion. This is the only time when she will openly panic and it is at this point that she can be her most dangerous.

Sample Post:

Nemesis, after battle

She didn't a logic-based CPU like Soundwave to tell that this was going to get nasty in the next few Earth moments. Just one look at the scowling expressions and burnt scent of singed, open circuitry was enough to tell her that. Once again their quest for energon had ended poorly thanks the efforts of the Autobots and it had cost their forces in dearly in the process. Not only had they lost vaulable time and resources, but now more of their dwindling reserves would be needed to repair the wounded.

That wasn't the only thing that was dwindling at this point. Whatever control or patience the other Decepticons had beforehand was long gone by this point. Tension was high and getting worse as the other Decepticons continued to file in. Most were able to make it in under their own power. A few however, such as Skywarp and two of the Constructions, only managed to make it to the doorframe before collapsing. They were brought in the rest of the way by the few who bothered to stop long enough to drag them the rest of the way.

"Get your aft over here and help!" Bonecrusher snarled at her as he and Hook struggled to move Scrapper.

Fang regarded them briefly. She was really under no obligation to help them. Comrades they were supposed to be, but as the newcomer here she had reason to be wary. While there were certain tendancies that were shared by all Decepticons, that didn't take into account the personal quirks that each robot had. Those she still had to work out before she dealt with this bunch on a semi-regular basis.

I think this app will need a bit of work. Transformers don't really have family units, it might be better to refer to a group of friends, although changing up the history more then that might be a good idea. Its generally not advisable to play loner types, especially as your first character. It makes it difficult to get into the RP. Some more information about her personality would help as well. While the stats are acceptable you still have points that you can use to bump up some of those abilities if you want.

Understood and the necessary changes have been made. I decided to go with some of Fang's more original history than before. It wasn't included before since I wasn't sure if it would be relevant.

Name: Fang
Allegiance: Decepticon
Function: Warrior
Alt. mode: Wolf
Weapons: Energon whip in robot form, teeth/claws and shoulder guns in alternate mode
Special Abilities: Similar to the Autobot Hound, Fang is able to track others either in robot or alt. mode.
Height: 24 feet, 7.3 meters
Quote: 'What are you doesn't define who you are.'

STRENGTH: 5
INTELLIGENCE: 6
DEXTERITY: 7
SPEED: 4
ENDURANCE: 6
COURAGE: 7
FIREPOWER: 4
ACCURACY: 5
MELEE: 7
TECH SKILL: 5
CHARISMA: 5
RANK: Assigned by RPG moderators.

Profile: Originally a Neutral, Fang was 'drafted' into the Decepticon army when as a youngling. Before that, she had been travelling with other Neutrals and deserters from both sides of the war. They had no set destination and mainly travelled between the ruined cities in search of energon. There were few close ties between the group members and they mostly stuck together for protection. One of the few that Fang stuck close to was an old Autobot by the name of Wind Bandit. He was a mentor to the younger Transformer, teaching her how to fight and laying the foundation for many of the views that she would hold later in life.

Their time together was cut short when a Decepticon raiding party happened upon the group. Many, including Wind Bandit, were destroyed and the few survivors were either destined for the energon mines or to join the Decepticon army. Fang was among the latter, as her age and how quickly she had responded in battle made her a more desirable candidate. Fang didn't make things easy though, for either herself or the Commander that she trained under. For a time she made as much trouble as she possibly could and even attempted to run away once. Each time, her efforts only ended in punishment and failure.

Eventually Fang gave into the training and took up the Decepticon cause. She will fight as any warrior will and go where she is ordered, but she fights under her own terms. Wind Bandit's lessons were not lost and Fang adopted his views as her own. She will not attack someone who is dying or too young to defend themselves, such as with organic children. There is no honor in taking on the helpless and for her, it takes away the thrill of the battle. For any who consider this a weakness, Fang is more than willing to show them what she is truly capable of.

The danger of setting the charge to this level is that it can cause an intense backlash if not handled properly.

Weaknesses: Fang is extremely claustrophobic and will refuse to enter enclosed areas unless forced. If she is forced into a small space, she will use whatever means to escape being cornered in such a fashion. This is the only time when she will openly panic and it is at this point that she can be her most dangerous.

Appearance: Wrex was never the most colorful of autobots colored in simple gun metal grey’s and blacks. Even in his altered state his colors remain unchanged with the exception of the glowing red light emitters riddling his body which seem to grow brighter with his rage like his visor, he does not posses a mouth like most bots but a battleplate where his mouth should be with slits for vents which seem to emit smoke from overheating.

Profile: Not much is known of the young eager transformer who became known as Wrex believing in proving his worth and equality for all cybertronians, Wrex joined the Autobots without hesitation and would often try to get assigned to missions where combat was most heavy. It is unclear why but rather then idolizing the autobot’s fearless leader Optimus Prime, the fearless young transformer took more interest in the often reckless actions of the leader of the Lightning Strike Coalition which would later be known as the Dinobots; Grimlock.

Being one of the few Transformers to remain on cybertron and aware of the return of the Decepticons mad scientist shockwave. Wrex took it upon himself to remove the dangerous and powerful Decepticon, unfortunately his mission did not go as planned, although his infiltration seemed to be going well with a stolen decepticon prototype invisibility cloak Shockwave was aware of the young autobots infiltration and intentions and decided to take the opportunity to experiment with the young autobot and turn him into a weapon to unleash upon his own allies the autobots.

Abilities: Wrex abilities before his modifications were limited to his weapons and his tenacity, but remodeled he posses a powerful energo sword and energo shield that fits his close combat melee style, in his alternate mechanized t-rex form he possesses a formidable flamethrower, razor sharp teeth, and tough armored hide. Perhaps to torture the young autobot or his allies shockwave fitted him with the prototype invisibility cloak which would only work in short bursts. But the cruelest of shockwave’s modifactions and perhaps most painful was his adjustment of Wrex neural pathways and diverting more power to combat leaving more of his higher speech functions vastly limited but increasing his power and damage.

Weaknesses: Wrex greatest weakness was his eagerness to prove his worth, leading to his capture and torture. With his youthful enthusiasm stomped out from pain and decepticon cruelty, it was replaced with blind rage and fury with his reduced logic capacity makes the newly modified volatile to handle. But the young autobots greatest weakness is most likely his reluctance to transform, although it offers him more power and the ability to do more damage due to the forced remodeling the transformation itself is very painful on the young transformer.

Sample Post: Nothing reached his audio servo’s but the sound of electricity traveling through the walls and floor to his bindings, holding him in place. Wrex thoughts couldn’t form the proper plan to try and escape; it caused him pain like thinking was hard. He could feel the rage building and he tugged on his bindings only to be hit by a powerful charge causing the young broken autobot to cry out in pain. He thought he understand pain before, anger before, rage before…the need for revenge. He felt foolish, like the young child he’d been this was war…he choose his side, and he made a mistake this pain was the price for the pain. But it wasn’t enough as the red visor that was his vision lit dimly in the dark he swore saying one word “…Shock…wave…” his auditory circuits mixed with a grow like tone he didn’t recognize as his own his rage rising more, he would escape he couldn’t figure out how or when, but he would…and then he would destroy every decepticon in his path.

Wrex didn’t know how long it had been, how many mega-cycles, deca-cycles, stellar cycles, meta-cycles. He had trouble thinking counting…it didn’t really matter what mattered was the decepticons cleaning his prison. He needed to remain calm, to try and think…but thinking was hard watching was easier. Waiting for a chance, an opening, a mistake; mega-cycle after mega-cycle he watched this prison cell that held him. Listened to the electricity surge and keep him bound but if he was going to escape he had to decide to wait…or let the anger explode. The decepticons taunted him; everyday mocked the young autobot, talking about how shockwave must have truly messed him up. He felt it boil and burn in his circuits the light emitters glowing faintly, he held it in waiting as the decepticon approached him closer, too close…but they’d grown comfortable with their prisoner…too comfortable. “How’s it feel to know after shockwave’s done messing with your spark, he’ll turn you lose on those autobots you idolized so much?” Wrex visor turned bright red and he tugged at the shackle grabbing the decepticon by his head “Won’t change…more!”

Wrex threw the decepticon at the control console, the one he knew controlled his shackles “He’s free!” shouted one of the remaining decepticon’s. The destroyed console sparked and the lights flickered and Wrex had vanished the decepticons panicked pulling their weapons “The experiment’s loose! Hit the alarm” Only one ran for the alarm, they were panicking forgetting the room was sealed, forgetting the cloak. Wrex’ energo sword formed and is was forced through the torso of the decepticon going for the alarm moments before the cloak faded and he became visible “Useful…” Wrex growled tossing the non-functioning decepticon across the ground before destroying the alarm with his sword. His glowing red gaze turned to the remaining decepticons in the room “pay…back” before they could fire Wrex formed his energo shield on his left formarm. The decepticons fired frantically as he charged them pressing one to the wall with his shield, and decapitating the one to his immediate right with his energo sword. Wrex smashed his shield against the pressed decepticon again, and again his visor glowing brighter until he realized it had ceased function. His shield and sword collapsed back into his body as he walked toward the cell door. His light emitters glowed brighter as he punched and ripped the doors open, his gaze staring down the corridor “shockwave…I…Coming” Wrex’ form vanished as he activated the cloak walking down the corridor.

Motto: "It's not breaking in if you live there! - Me"
Weapon: Laser Rifle
I hope I'm doing this correctly and if I'm not then so sorry. It's two going on three here so I'm a little sleep-deprived at the moment. Please tell me if I've done something wrong. I won't be offended if you're not being offensive. I promise.

This is a fanmade character. I hope that she's acceptable.

Scalpel

Allegiance: Autobot
Sub-group:
Function: Field Medic (can patch people up on the battlefield or keep them from dying long enough to get to someone more qualified)
Alternate Modes: Saturn Sky Red Line with turbo upgrade kit, Silver Graphite/Black paintjob
Weapons: Primary: sniper rifle Secondary: laser scalpel/stun gun
Special Abilities:
Height: 14.5 feet/4.4196 meters

Quote: “If I fight from a distance I don't have to hear and feel everything.”

Strength: 4
Intelligence: 7
Dexterity: 8
Speed: 8
Endurance: 6
Courage: 5
Firepower: 6
Accuracy: 8
Melee: 5
Tech Skill: 9
Charisma: 4
Rank:

Profile: Scalpel would prefer to work quietly as a nurse and occassionally deal with serious cases. That of course is not an option in war and especially not for someone drafted for and trained as a field medic of all professions. She would also much prefer to be aligned with no cause in particular. However with the Decepticons having a policy of "join or die" Scalpel decided she'd much rather be an Autobot by choice than a 'Con by force. The 'Cons would tear a wallflower such as herself apart anyway and the Autobots are more in line with her own morals as they stand.

Some might consider Scalpel's telepathy a gift but it's more of a hindrance than a help. She can't turn the ability off, even in recharge and can often be found in recharge in out of the way places that others don't linger in in an attempt to get some rest. Scalpel can put up mental shields to help block out the mental voices of those around her and can even hold them up in recharge but suddenly waking up because the shields might happen to unexpectedly drop isn't fun. Even still she can sometimes hear the inner thoughts of her fellows although much like being in a loud area with a lot of people speaking at once it can become a background hum. Without her mental shielding she would feel the emotions, aches, and pains of those around her and even with them there are very faint echoes that don't do much more than irritate her. Too much of either will cause her discomfort so she values having distance and space from others.

Scalpel will sometimes answer telepathically instead of vocally and there are those that don't appreciate what they might consider an intrusion. She doesn't do this to offend but speaking to someone directly in such a way is so much more clear than attempting to explain herself aloud. The medic's got few interpersonal skills other than the basics. She can give a report in detail if necessary but as far as shooting the breeze she'd have more difficulty. Unintentionally listening to the thoughts of others is the secondary reason behind her seclusion as well. She'll also give monosyllabic answers to people followed by short sentences before actually having a conversation with those she likes. It's not that she's unfriendly but she's not used to being around people and so is socially awkward.

Humans are interesting to Scalpel if only because they run on electrical impulses just like Cybertronians but are so phsyiologically different from her people. She's had some modifications to allow her to mimic human expressions and sounds. Secretly she's quite proud of these expansions to herself as it makes conversing with the little creatures easier if she ever has to interact with them. She's also just happy that she can control something about herself in turbulent times. Scalpel has a retractable faceplate that she rarely puts away as it, along with the rest of her headpiece is designed to help tamp down on her telepathic abilities. She's built for speed, not strength so she won't be dragging especially heavy comrads off the battlefield. A few reinforced cavities in her legs and arms carry the tools of her trade. In a pinch she could use her laser scalpels and soldering iron as surprise weapons but she wouldn't go out of her way to find out of they could take down another Cybertronian.

Abilities: Telepathy - Limited to actively communicating with four others at once, otherwise she can function as a "radio" without interferance for up to nine people, only functions for up to 300 miles.

Mind reading - Limited to surface scans, and only works if she's concentrating hard on the individual and it works best if they're in the same room. Can be increased if she retracts her faceplate.

Mental Attacks - Limited to a psychic "sound" that stuns everyone around her withing a twenty foot radius but extended concentration on one individual could possibly knock them out.

Mental Defenses - With concentration she can layer a psychic shield on her mind so that she can bear to be around people but without that shielding she can't be around too many people at once because the thoughts overwhelm her and give her a screaming headache and sometimes knock her out. Battles can be a bit of a problem even with the shielding but only if she's in the thick of it so she usually tries to stay away from the frontlines. She can shield others from reading her thoughts and with a lot of concentration (she can't be moving under her own power) she can do the same for others.

Weaknesses: Emotion and thought control aren't some things many people are concerned with so more often than not it's too "loud" for Scalpel to be around large groups of people for too long. Because of this she spends most of her time away from others not. It's not something that she enjoys and battles can be especially tough for her to get through if she hasn't mentally prepared herself for the onslaught of carnage and pain that will be all over the place. She can be incapacitated by the pain of others if her telepathic shields drop or if they weaken without reinforcing. Reinforcing her mental shields must be done religiously every thirty hours, the longest time she's gone without renewing her shields is fourty-eight so although her endurance is average it is denied full usage because her shields fluctuate with the amount of energy she's got to spend on keeping her them up and herself and others alive.

Sample Post

Humans were interesting little creatures; they were very much like her own people in their ambitions and actions and emotions but still different. She could spend hours hidden in plain sight watching their interactions with one another from a distance and then return to base to see similarities among her bretheren. Not that she spent much time around other Cybertronians, the telepathy made that nearly impossible the majority of the time. It was a shame that her ability wasn't more controllable, the minds of those around her could be fascinating and every so often she could focus enough through the pressing masses and hear just that one person's psche. However that wasn't ethical, that was a blatant invasion of privacy and out of respect for her fellows she avoided doing this. That didn't stop her from wishing she could traverse the mental pathways of another - willing - being's mind.

'It would be fun,' she thought, 'to see the inside of another's mind of my own volition. It would be nice to see someone else's thought processes willingly.' Scalpel knew that would never happen and she fully understood why. Thoughts were supposed to be private unless spoken aloud. That's why they remained in one's head unspoken after all. With a faint smile hidden behind her protective faceplate Scalpel continued staring off into the far distance, not seeing anything and content with being lost in her own - her own! - thoughts for once. The spot she'd chosen for her necessary time to herself was what the inhabitants of the planet Earth would have called serene. For the most part it was though the dirt that occasionally drifted into uncomfortable spots was something she disliked.

Currently Scalpel was parked on the side of the road, looking for all the world like an abandoned vehicle. The holomatter projection of a young woman in gray and black clothing had appeared to have walked off and left her expensive ride for all and sundry to take advantage of. Of course if anyone did attempt theft or harm of what they thought was an unintelligent piece of machinary they would quickly find themselves in a "ghost car" and scrambling to get away. A tow truck had attempted to put what was called a boot on one of her tires once. The poor human hadn't appreciated the way a car without a driver had suddenly taken off.

'Honestly though! The Autobots are allies of the humans! You would think that they would recognize the chevron and leave any vehicles marked that way alone.'

Profile: Blaster likes to turn it up loud. That goes for the way he does everything: fighting, talking, playing- living! If Blaster is involved, he makes his presence known. He is in the forefront of any situation. But aside from the things he normally does in the course of being an Autobot, he has a special passion: Rock 'n' Roll. His ability to monitor radio transmissions has exposed him to many Earthen musical styles, all of which he finds interesting. But it is rock music- good, hard and loud- that really sparks his circuits. He'd much rather be lost in the sound of a searing guitar solo than fight Decepticons. However, when called upon he will do what he must for the Autobot cause, albeit reluctantly at times. As Blaster likes to point out, "I hate changing channels in mid-song."

Abilities: Blaster can assume the form of an ipod dock modeled after an old 80's style "boom box." He can send and receive radio signals on all frequencies, and can detect signals with power outputs as weak as a millionth of a watt. His ability to transmit radio signals up to 4000 miles makes him the communications center for the Autobots. In robot form he carries an electro-scrambler gun, which emits powerful waves of electromagnetic energy that disrupt the operations of all but the most heavily shielded electrical devices. In theory, the gun should interfere with the minute electrical impulses of the human nervous system, but Blaster has never used the gun on a human.

Blaster's holo-matter avatar is a (pardon the pun) dead-ringer for "Dimebag" Darrell Abbott. A mid-40's white male, with long, dark, curly hair, a beard, and many tattoos. Blaster simply couldn't resist the homage to a rocker that died before his time.

Weaknesses: Blaster's most obvious weakness is for rock 'n' roll. He will walk unwittingly into a trap for the promise of hearing some new tunes. Radio static has the effect of hampering his operation and even, if strong enough, knocking him out completely.

Sample Post:

"You got the touch!"

Tap. Tap. Tap. Tap. Blaster nodded his head as he listened to the song, tapping out the beats with perfect precision. This particular song was an old favorite, a classic. It always put a spark in his circuits. He cranked up the song a few notches louder. The noise would've been deafening to anyone other than Blaster. Load was just how he rocked and rolled and he loved every astrosecond of it.

An incoming transmission interrupted the song, sparking some irritation in Blaster. He considered letting the transmission wait until the song finished playing. Shaking his head, Blaster switched frequencies and honed in on the transmission, pulling up the data for it on the main view screen. It was encrypted in a strange code. It puzzled Blaster for a moment. With a sudden revelation, Blaster snapped two digits and grinned triumphantly. He recognized it as an old encryption. He had assumed that the code had been decommissioned, seeing how it was slaggin’ ancient, but he guessed not. Blaster’s digits danced across the control panel, decrypting the communique. He wondered who in Primus’ name would send a transmission encrypted like this.

With that thought, Blaster slid an actuator over and began to trace the transmission back to its source, using a technique in triangulation. He soon finished both the decryption and the trace. Weird. The transmission was coming from deep space. Fortress Maximus? And incoming Autobot vessel? Anything was possible. His triangulation technique yielded broader answers than Blaster would’ve liked. He knew of the general sector. It seemed to originate around Maximus’ sector though.

Itching to get back to his music, Blaster played the beginning of the decrypted communique. Lo and behold, it was from Fortress Maximus. Something about…a requisition for supplies? Rather than listen to all of it, Blaster forwarded it to the commanding officers that it concerned. With that accomplished, Blaster was finally able to return to the radio frequencies of Earth.

“Finally!”

Or not…

Both Eject and Rewind were stationed at consoles adjacent to their guardian. Eject was doubtlessly listening to some sort of sports broadcast. Jumping up and down in excitement, the cassettebot cheered happily.

“Who’s it this time?” Blaster asked, smiling at his small friend’s antics.

“The Red Sox and the Yankees!”

“Who’re you pullin’ for this time?”

“The Sox! They finally brought out their clutch hitter after waiting until the bases were loaded. I would’ve brought him out sooner, but I-“

Eject paused in mid-sentence, his optics widening. He burst into a tumult of cacophonous cheers and cries of jubilation.

“He just hit a triple! Scrap that, Yankees! YEAH!”

Blaster couldn’t help but grin at the cassettebot’s enthusiasm. Truth be told, he barely understood the concepts of some human sports, but there were a few he had come to grow reasonably acquainted with such as baseball, football (some humans called it soccer), another football, and basketball. Blaster knew enough about to be able to tell that Eject was talking about baseball, but aside from that, he couldn’t tell anyone very much about it.

Blaster left Eject to the broadcast. He tuned back into the humans’ radio broadcasts. With some disappointment, Blaster discovered that his song had ended. Not that he was particularly surprised. He scanned some other stations. Oh yes. A wide grin spread across Blaster’s faceplate as he heard Darrell Abbott’s familiar loud and rockin’ guitar riffs and chords. He began tapping out the melody with a digit. Tap. Tap. Tap.

Lets see here...Her height pretty short for the type of vehicle she transforms into. As a matter of fact she's the exact same model and color of my own fanmade. Raise her height slightly and change the color. You haven't mentioned anything about her medical abilities or her weapons and their abilities. Why does she need a sniper rifle...it was never established that she was a sniper.

Her special abilities...telepathy, mental attacks and mental defenses will cost you a copious amount of stat points. In fact all three abilities are simply too powerful for this character. I would recommend that they be eliminated all together so that you can focus more on rounder out the entirety of the character.

She wouldn't need to be "modified" in order to mimic human expressions and sounds since Cypertronians adapt to any situations...which means the abilities would come naturally to all Autobots.

Rework the sample since it doesn't give much background info on the character but instead mostly focuses on the telepathy. Also since she's a medic she probably wouldn't be down planet side observing humans. She'd be much more useful on base leaving the observing to those with that specific ability and function.

So, to sum up...better off to dump the telepathy and all the other mental abilities. Raise her height and change her color...you can check the height against my fanmade Hex. Rework the sample...mention all of her abilities as a medic and what her weapons can do.

And lastly, the name is more 'Con than 'Bot....hence why it was used for the name of a 'Con medic in ROTF. Find something more 'Bot like. Then run everything through a spell and grammar checker.

Ah! I figured that her height needed work however I'm not exactly sure what would be a good height. Should I just round it out to an even sixteen/eighteen? And she is the same model and color? I didn't look over other profiles other than the sample (it so late at night/early in the morning when I was writing this up) so I didn't know that. I don't think that the color's that much of a problem. It's one of the standard colors for the Sky and the one I like best so far.

That's understandable though I won't lie that I was hoping that with how it hindered her it would be allowed.

Ah okay! Didn't know if that was something you had to manually have done or not. Okay.

Rework the sample since it doesn't give much background info on the character but instead mostly focuses on the telepathy. I didn't know the samples had to include background of the character. I just thought that they had to show off your writing skills I'll come up with something.

And lastly, the name is more 'Con than 'Bot....hence why it was used for the name of a 'Con medic in ROTF. Find something more 'Bot like. Then run everything through a spell and grammar checker.

I actually made her before the Bay movies came out. I don't think her name's a problem, it's like assuming everyone named Billy-Bob will be a hillbilly.

I'll get right on fixing her up. Thanks for responding so quickly.

Crosshatch
Allegiance: Autobots
Function: Scout
Alt. Mode: 1987 El Camino
Weapons: Doulbe-bladed parallel blades on wrists, common RLS gun, shoulder cannon
Height: 25ft/7.6m
Quote: "Stand and fight; otherwise, stay on the ground."

Strength: 5
Intelligence: 5
Dexterity: 7
Speed: 7
Endurance: 6
Courage: 7
Firepower: 4
Accuracy: 6
Melee: 7
Tech Skill: 3
Charisma: 4
Rank: 3 (intended for her to be a scout)

Profile: Althought she is a young bot who just recently joined the cause, she is known to stick out to her superiors. She is known to be very straightforward and determined. Willing to do anything and everything to improve, Crosshatch has a strong sense of duty and is very self-motivating. Even though she's known to be very focused, when given the time, she can be fun and a little troublesome. When not out scouting the terrain for data purposes, she's out exploring Earth's many bioms. Earth is a fascinating domain to be learned and its' complexities never cease to amaze her. She can also find herself in trouble more often than not. This is because she is also known to be impulsive, a quality thanks to her youth. One thing that really can start a war with her is her past. She doesn't like telling the story and would much rather not get into that state of mind. Her past is her past so leave it at that. If you try and force it out of her, you will find yourself in a provoked fight.

Abilities: She is very quick and very agile. She can reach speeds up to 180mph and is very skilled in hand-to-hand combat. She can locate her positioning, even in the deepest of tunnels or signal scrambling technology, and detect large amounts of energy, but hasn't mastered identifying them yet. However, she can cloak her own signal to be undetectable.

Her holo-matter avatar reflects her significantly, having all her robot-form capabilities. Her holo-matter avatar is a sleek, dark-skinned Native American female who appears to be in her mid-20s. She has long dark hair and always appears in the classical T-Shirt and pants. What type of attire is better for an explorer?

Dust flew into the air leaving a distinct trail of speed. The sky and leveled ground blurred together in a flash of light blue and dirt brown for, in fact, that's all that surrounded her. The sun could be seen rising at a slow and gradual rate far above her current location. Crosshatch drove through Death Valley at an alarming rate. Her deep blue, well-chromed, and sleek form of a classical El Camino could be seen from miles away racing past rocks and Joshua trees, headed for an unknown destination.

Crosshatch had been on the road for days now. Four days prior, she had found herself stranded in some unknown location after having crashlanded onto this, what seemed to be, desolate planet. Her entire 96 hours on this rock had proven to be fairly quiet and uneventful. The entire time she had been driving and, thankfully, not walking. Before crash landing she had scanned the image of a car that seemed appealing to the eye and effective for her type of work. She was a scout and, as a matter of fact, she was working at the moment; scouting for some type of other advanced life form of any sort. The only complex organisms that had crossed her path were a few small reptiles and a dead coyote. As she drove farther down this lonely road, she suddenly detected a large energy source.

Focusing on this new reading, she looked into it and pinpointed the source only a few miles ahead. She stepped on the brakes and transformed off to the side of the road, stretching her very worn out gears.

"Ahh, it's been ages since I've gotten the chance to stretch," she told herself after flexing her abused circuts. "Can't stop now. Not when I'm so close."

She glanced down at her handheld scanner and saw a small blinking icon to the right of the screen. She lifted her gaze up to the surrounding mountains and stared off into the distance.

"4 clicks to the South. No road accessible. Looks like I'll have to walk." She took her first step of many towards the energy source, hoping to at least reach it within the next hour or so, according to Earth Standard Time.

As she walked through this excessively dust-ridden terrain, her thoughts and worries took over. What's the energy source? My scanner can't detect that far, especially past those moutains. Will it be in the mountains themselves? Or across them, forcing me to have to climb them? Will it be Earth-caused, Autobot, or Decepticon? It's not like I have many other options. I can either go towards it or perish in this desert. I've been driving for what seems like ages and haven't found anyone. What else can I do? No. This energy source is the only way... Once finally reaching the base of the mountains, she could detect that the source was across the mountains. She looked around and, seeing no other way through them, she began to climb them. 'Climb them' seemed like an over-exaggeration. It was more like 'walk' them. The angle these mountains lied at wasn't very steep so actually 'climbing' wasn't neccessary. Once reaching the top of these mountains, she crouched low to the ground and peered over the ledge. What she saw was something of both a feeling of relief and tragedy: it was a base and from the looks of it, Autobot. She spotted some familiar faces, a few who were bound to recognize her. At last she had made it, that was her relief, but she was almost sad, too. Her adventure was now over and a new one was about to begin as an Autobot living on Earth.

Profile:
For as long as he can remember, Armor Aid has dreamed of being a doctor, to perform miracles and save lives. Since becoming Garrus 9's only medical officer, his dream has turned into a nightmare.

When Armor Aid was first stationed on Garrus 9 he was assigned as a paramedic, to keep any injured mechs safe and stable within his heavily armored alternate mode, and transport them to the medical ward. Once there they would be properly treated by the prison's lone doctor and surgeon, Lancet.

Aside from a number of medical drones, Lancet and Armor Aid were the only medical personel assigned to Garrus 9, and it didn't take long for them to form a bond. Armor Aid looked up to Lancet, and admired the doctor's dedication and strong moral compass. He took it upon himself to protect the smaller, weaker doctor from the often violent patients. Lancet, in turn, saw great potential in Armor Aid, and became the young medic's teacher and mentor. Under Lancet's tutelage Armor Aid expanded his knowledge of Cybertronian medicine. They both dreamed of a day when the war would end and the young protoge would attend medical school, so they could start their own practice together. That day would never come.

One day Lancet confided in Armor Aid- the doctor had long suspected that there was corruption within the prison, and he planned on confronting the warden about it. Though Armor Aid wanted to join his mentor in case anyone tried to stop them, Lancet insisted that he go alone, and left Armor Aid to tend to the medical ward. Less than a cycle later, much to the medic's horror, Lancet was brought to the medical ward in critical condition after pushing an inmate out of the way of a "malfunctioning" automated turret. Though Armor Aid did everything he could to save his mentor, Lancet would become the first patient to die on Armor Aid's watch. Sadly, he would not be the last.

With the death of Lancet and no replacement in the foreseeable future, Armor Aid became Garrus 9's acting Chief Medical Officer. At first Armor Aid thought he would be ready for the challenge thanks to Lancet's teachings, but ultimately he would prove to be ill equipped for the task. Many seemingly routine treatments and standard operations have turned fatal by Armor Aid's inexperienced hands, giving Garrus 9 the worst mortality rate in the entire Autobot penal system.

Armor Aid has repeatedly requested a replacement or additional staff, but with the Autobot Medical Corp stretched thin throughout the galaxy there's no relief in sight. The vorns have taken their toll on Armor Aid. The once young, energetic paramedic with dreams of the future has become a sad, bitter mech, usually found locked in his office with a cy-gar-8 in his mouth, just trying to get through each day as the failure he believes he truly is.

Abilities:

Armor Aid possesses above-average intelligence and has been fully trained as a paramedic, and has recieved additional medical training from his mentor Lancet. He is capable of repairing most minor repairs and replacing standard parts and armor under optimal conditions. Though it gives him great shame, he has become something of an expert on autopsies due to the sheer number he has had to perform since becoming Garrus 9's acting CMO.

Armor Aid transforms into a heavily armored medical transport, designed to carry most Cybertronians under 40 feet tall. While carrying passengers within his alternate mode Armor Aid can monitor the injured mech's vital signs, and provide them with a limited amount of energon to keep them stable. Patients are well protected within Armor Aid's thick armor, which can travel for 600 miles at speeds up to 110 MPH.

In robot mode Armor Aid possesses above average strength and great durability, and may possibly be the most physically imposing medical officer in the Autobot ranks. Armor Aid carries a variety of medical tools and equipment in several different compartments within his armor, and is armed with a standard issue laser pistol.

Appearance

Armor Aid's armor is red with white windshields. His alternate mode is a more heavily armored version of a Cybertronian Ambulance.

When Armor Aid transforms into his robot mode the front hood extends and folds into his legs and feet, the roof of the rear section splits and folds into his arms, and his upper torso spins 180 degrees so the undercarriage makes his chest. His upper body is slightly bulkier than his lower body.

Weaknesses:

Armor Aid is not a fully trained or licensed doctor despite his current position as Garrus 9's chief medical officer. His skills in surgery are limited, as are his knowledge of mechanical viruses and infections, and he is easily frustrated by unexpected complications and side effects caused by his treatments.

As a result of his inability to properly treat so many patients, Armor Aid goes through frequent bouts of depression. This depression has led to an increasing dependence of cy-gar-8s, a newer type of cy-gar that is smaller, but contains 8 times the addictive chemicals and nano-toxins of the original. The longer Armor Aid goes without a cy-gar-8, the more difficult it becomes for him to focus on the task at hand. At times he shows signs of irritability, restlessness, and increasingly uncontrollable shaking. Though he can gain limited control of these symptoms by simulating the motions of using a cy-gar-8, inevitably he will have to find a private area such as his office to satisfy his cravings. So far he has managed to hide this addiction from others, but it is only a matter of time before it completely hinders his ability to function normally.

Sample Post

Armor Aid drooped his head down as he looked at his former patient. Former patient, he reminded himself in disgust, because the inmate was now deceased, as evidenced by the low pitched tone that indicated a complete lack of vital function.

As it was, no one would ever suspect the mess in front of him was a Cybertronian. When the inmate was rushed into the medical ward he was already in terrible shape; his head was practically severed from the rest of his body, hanging by a few threads of wires and mech fluid tubes. Even the most experienced, highly trained medical professionals would have found the situation challenging. So what chance did Armor Aid have?

"Computer, record;", Armor Aid sighed, "Inmate 5473, deceased. Time of death, 0450 hours. Unofficial cause of death, pending autopsy; complete cerebral circuit failure, caused by severe loss of fluids and disconnection from vital circuits."

Slumping down on a nearby stool, Armor Aid took ahold a nearby scalpel. Without even thinking about it he took the scalpel between two of his digits, taping it repeatedly on the medical slab that his patient's corpse lay on.

"- and my own ineptitude.", Armor Aid mumbled to himself as he put the scalpel up to his mouth. He sighed heavily, he needed to be in his office. Now.

"Drone 13;", he addressed a nearby medical drone as he quickly stood up. He started tapping the handle of the scalpel on his own armor, "Pre-prepare the body for an autopsy.", he rushed toward the door of his office, tapping the scalpel faster and faster, "I'll.... I'll be in my office. RIght now!"

I'd like to see more in her profile concerning, at the very least, a little of her past. It doesn't have to go in too deep but I'd like to know a bit of what she did when she was on Cybertron.

I would like a description of her weapons...capabilities...case in point: RLS = Rapid Light System? I'm assuming that's what it is since there was no explanation and or description of what it is. In which case...this would be a standard hand held gun with a light attached to the front...so the light would be used to enhance the sight of a species that is capable of seeing the visual spectrum...i.e optical spectrum without aid...

Needless to say I need to know about the weapons and any kind of skills...technical or otherwise.

Expand the weaknesses section what you have is not going to do.

Re-work and re-post and I'll have another look at it.

Profile: Sidewinder is an Ex-Decepticon Engineer. He was a strong believer of the Decepticon cause while he was under their command, much like Soundwave. He became very well known among his comrades for setting ploys and traps for Autobots, many of them involving setting up “false” bombs to distract them from a more carefully hidden and much more dangerous than the ploys he had set. As Megatron’s hunger for power grew more and more insatiable, Sidewinder grew tired of the madness and deserted the Decepticons. While the Autobots were reluctant to let a “former” Decepticon into their ranks, Sidewinder offered his expertise with Decepticon bombs and traps, and that seemed to be enough to form an uneasy alliance between him and the Autobots. He isn’t very social with his peers. He doesn’t speak unless spoken to, or unless he spots a smarter way to solve a problem.

Abilities: Sidewinder transforms into a Harrier II VTOL aircraft, giving him the freedom and mobility of the skies without the inconvenience of needing a strip of asphalt to land on. His aircraft form is essentially a strike package in its own; it carries a pair of rocket pods, four heat-seeking missiles, and a five barrel Gatling gun mounted to the side of the cockpit. His primary weapon is a modified burst fire rifle, accurately firing three shots in accordance. However, he can alter its firing mode into full auto, pouring more shots out a far more deadly rate at the cost of the weapons accuracy should he choose to change it. His secondary weapon being a tri-shot disk firing weapon, it is a charged firing weapon, the longer it is charged, the more shots are fired though less accurate than when it is semi-fired.

Weaknesses:Sidewinder’s primary weakness is close quarters fighting. While he can hold his own for a time, it won’t last forever and he cannot last long in a melee fight. His other great weakness is his lack of trust in others. His experience within the Decepticon ranks had left with more than one occasion where a teammate or whole squads had made an attempt on his life. Such experiences have left him distrusting of others, preferring to work on things on his own rather than have any backup.

Sample Post No… the weapon’s systems wouldn’t be able to support that kind of firepower. What if its purpose was changed entirely?

The possibilities made Sidewinder’s mind race. Before him lay the worn out exterior of a cybertronian combat drone, one that he had found among the old ruins of Iacon. Amazingly, the drone was not only intact, but its core systems remained fully functional as well. The possibilities excited Sidewinder in measures he did not usually reach. He stared intently at the spherically shaped drone once more, checking the energon distribution throughout its systems.

As Sidewinder waited for his processors to complete their checkup of the drone’s core, he thought back to his days in Iacon, the memories protruding into his mind like a dark energon crystal. He was a Decepticon at the time; he was under the command of some hot-headed tank that proclaimed that his work was a waste of time, that if it were up to him, he would kill all the Autobots himself. He loathed that Con with his entire spark. Sidewinder had made sure that a stray explosive had found its way into collar before the siege of Iacon was over. As the conflict continued within the city, he paid close attention to the Autobot’s predicament, and by the end of the siege, he understood them.

The Autobots weren’t corrupting their world as Megatron had preached to their cause ever so much. No, they were defending it! They fought so valiantly in the face of destruction, knowing full well that they were likely to die to keep their ideals, morals, and freedom so that their colleagues would never see their homeworld fall under the tyranny of Megatron. He finally understood what being an Autobot was during that time. It was something he wanted to be a part of, no matter what the Decepticons had to offer him.

Sidewinder caught himself shaking his head, forcing himself back into the present so that he may finish his task. The bright beams of the headlamp above him shining upon his pale blue and grey hexagons that aligned themselves in a pattern over his exterior shell, they gave him a more distinct look in his opinion. Finally, an idea collided with him like it was Trypticon himself. He gave the data analysis on the display above the table a quick glance as he returned to the drone. Sidewinder began taking apart the hull of the drone whilst he finalized its new purpose in his head.

Defense… a shield… How should it direct itself?..
