Motto: ""Keep your friends close, and your enemies at the other end of your scope.""
Seawing

Allegiance: Decepticons
Function: Undersea Reconnaissance
Alt. Mode: Amphibious Winged Beast
Weapons: 2 venom lasers.
Height: 26 ft / 7.93 m
Quote: “The darkest depths reveal the darkest secrets."

Strength: 7
Intelligence: 8
Dexterity: 8 in water, 6 as robot, 1 in manta mode on land
Speed: 6
Endurance: 4
Courage: 8
Firepower: 6
Accuracy: 8
Melee: 7
Tech. Skill: 9
Charisma: 8
Rank: 6

Profile: Seawing is the eeriest, most ominous Seacon-and he knows it. He glides through the ocean depths like a sinister steel specter, spreading fear among all who see him. This pleases him greatly. "Who better to rule than he to whom all bow," he reasons immodestly. Some Decepticons speculate that Seawing's ambitions go beyond the Seacons and reach to Decepticon Command itself. Not denying this, Seawing does much more to achieve his goals than merely frighten some tin-scaled robo-fish. He is an expert at his job, and he enjoys every moment of it. Once he zeroes in on a target, he uses his wits to surprise and then his armaments to destroy. And underwater, nothing escapes his notice or his grasp.

Abilities: In creature mode, Seawing employs a battery of sensors --electrical, chemical, infrared-- and long-range sonar in his reconnaissance missions. His sensitivity is such that he can locate a screw head on the ocean bottom up to 20,000 feet below him. He can detect and home in on anything living or moving in the water within a 20-mile radius. His maximum speed is 110 mph. In beast and robot modes, he is equipped with two venom lasers which shoot beams that paralyze on contact. In weapons station mode, he combines with the lasers to become a powerful dual proton blaster.

Weaknesses: In creature mode, Seawing's optical modules are adjusted to pick up the very dim light that reaches the ocean depths. As a result, he is very sensitive to bright light, and is easily blinded by sudden flashes underwater.

Sample Post:
The vasts depths of the ocean. A dark, cold, powerful a relentless place. A fitting place for a true master of the water. Seawing couldn't help but smile a little at his thought. Down here, he was the king; only a few mechs alive could match him underwater. And all of them were part of the seacons. But none of them, not even Snaptrap, inspired the fear Seawing did. Fear was an art, and he was its master.

Yet he was down here, on a recon mission. But one day it would be different. He would have the command he deserves. And all would bow before him.

But for now, he would follow Snaptrap, and do whatever mission the Seacon Commander saw fit. After all, the Seacon commander knew what an asset Seawing was, and every job well done was a step closer to promotion, to recognition. To command.

And in the darkness of the ocean, he would make a name for himself.

Solid first choice. Approved. Seawing should have a profile posted up already, so you can just go make an entry in the roll call thread and pick up where I left off with this guy in the Convergence thread. Welcome aboard and have fun!

Motto: "All I have to be is exceptional."
Weapon: Battle Blades
I'm attempting a new canon character. Because this character has a rank of 10, which is obviously not possible in-game, I've left his rank blank.

Gutcruncher

Allegiance: Decepticon
Sub-group: Decepticon Secret Service
Function: Secret Service Quartermaster
Alternate Modes: Russian T-90 Main Battle Tank
Weapons: Primary Fusion Cannon (vehicle mode), Rocket Launchers, Energon Battle Pistol
Height: 22ft/ 6.7m
Quote: “Conquest of the Autobots begins with control of the sky!"

Strength: 08
Intelligence: 08
Dexterity: 07
Speed: 07
Endurance: 09
Courage: 07
Firepower: 06
Accuracy: 07
Melee: 04
Tech Skill: 07
Charisma: 08
Rank:

Profile: Gutcruncher is a rarity among the Decepticon forces. While he shares their goal of the total destruction of the Autobots, Gutcruncher was not a member of the Decepticon military, and had for centuries operated a business partnership with Megatron under a mutually beneficial contract. Following the formation of the Decepticon Secret Service, Gutcruncher was conscripted into the Decepticons' intelligence agency and put in charge of supplying covert military operations. Gutcruncher greatly resents Megatron reneging on their deal and his new subordinate position to Banzai-Tron, but remains as competent at providing supplies as ever. Though he favors aerial combat, Gutcruncher was forced to obtain a land based vehicle mode for operations on Earth.

Abilities: Gutcruncher is a well known capitalist, with an extensive list of contacts throughout the galaxy. His ability to effortlessly supply the Decepticon military with munitions, artificial energy provisions, and spare parts is second only to the legendary Swindle, and no Decepticon is better able to salvage usable components from his deceased comrades. Gutcruncher possesses significant engineering skill and his recent change in alt mode and modifications to his frame have made him very durable in battle.

Weaknesses: Gutcruncher greatly resents his new subordinate position in the Decepticon Secret Service, and has difficulty working with teammates, preferring to operate independently. Despite frequent trips to combat zones, Gutcruncher is only an average combatant himself, and thus tends to complete objectives quickly, occasionally leaving Autobot witnesses to the Secret Service's activities.

Sample Post:

Interstellar Trading Hub, Omega

"Gutcruncher!" called the Turian trader to the Decepticon's back. Gutcruncher was in no hurry to go back and talk about the deal he just made, but suppressed the urge to run, put on a winning smile, and turned around.

"Yes?"

"This scrap you sold me is full of phosphex burns," the avian alien explained, holding up three sheets of metal off some poor slagmaker's chest frame. "You assured me this was top quality stuff!"

This bird faced guy was gonna be trouble. Gutcruncher feigned surprise. "Please, show me the whole stock. If any more of them have blemishes, we can talk exchange."

The turian complied, looking down over the dolley and scrap metal. He dug around. His attention was elsewhere, and his hands were occupied.

"There," the turian noted, pulling up a big hunk of former Decepticon leg. "Looks like blaster fire here-"

"Yes, I see..." Gutcruncher pulled up his own energon pistol and leveled it at the trader's head.

"And here," the turian continued, pulling up what looked like a broken Seeker wing. "Is that... some kind of organic matter?"

"No," Gutcruncher quietly answered. "But that is."

He fired. The turian slumped forward, crashing to the floor without a head.

Gutcruncher looked over the supply and counted the credits he'd already been paid.

He rolled the scrap out into the marketplace, quietly kicking the turian corpse behind its owner's stand. "Genuine Cybertronian parts, half price!"

This character's bio was basically identical to Slag's, and has been reworked. He is being treated as a non-canon character with a new, if similar backstory.

Charger

Allegiance: Decepticon
Sub-group: Decepticon Secret Service
Function: Warrior, Smelter
Alternate Modes: None (formerly Cybertronian load bearing vehicle)
Weapons: "Titanium Shredder" (modified Subsonic Repeater), Flamethrower, Battle Hammer
Height: 24 ft/ 7.3m
Quote: “I have no need for friends, and even less for enemies."

Strength: 08
Intelligence: 04
Dexterity: 07
Speed: 04
Endurance: 09
Courage: 07
Firepower: 07
Accuracy: 07
Melee: 08
Tech Skill: 04
Charisma: 03
Rank:

Profile: Charger was once a smelter on Cybertron. He was strong and capable, but not very sociable or intelligent, so he had no friends at the mill. A member of the disposable class who quietly slaved away, Charger was forgotten by the rest of Cybertronian society, including his own foreman and coworkers. His anonymity nearly cost him his life, as an industrial accident led to Charger falling into the hearth. Beginning to melt down, and with none of his co-workers hearing his cry for help, Charger expected death, until he was saved by one of the Mini-Con messengers. Grateful, and for the first time feeling as though his existence was valued by another, Charger became the Mini-Con's friend, and took the smaller bot to gladiatorial games and served as transport for his savior.

Until the Mini-Con offended the Functionist Council and had his spark extracted.

His only friend gone, and his T-cog slowly burnt out from the fall and constant transformations for the smaller bot's benefit, Charger lost the only thing he had valued in life. He pledged to avenge the Fire Beast Mini-Con and joined the Decepticon movement, venting his rage on the Senate and their Autobot supporters.

Today, Charger shuns his Decepticon comrades, refusing to form new bonds with any of them, quickly changing from one unit to another, wherever a combatant is needed. He has recently been assigned to the secret service to provide muscle when operations go sideways and direct intervention is necessary.

Abilities: Charger is very strong and can take a lot of damage. With no ability to transform, the bruiser has turned attention to improving his use of weaponry and relied on his great physical strength. His ancient hatred of the Senate and the functionists has morphed into hatred of their Autobot successors, whom he relishes killing and then melting down to slag in his spare time.

Weaknesses: Charger's lack of alternate mode makes him incapable of stealth. As a former load bearer, he is not built for speed. Having spent his life in a mill and then a battlefield, Charger's knowledge is limited to smelting and use of his weaponry. His distant personality and lack of charisma makes him difficult for his comrades to get along with.

Sample Post:

Diramur, Autobot Controlled Space, Phase Six

Charger landed on the battlefield. Some dumb spying cassetticon had been spotted and needed a rescue. As long as there were Autobots to maim, it suited him just fine.

He pulled out his Titanium Shredder and charged towards the Autobots' shipping dock. Whatever they'd been trying to flee the planet with wouldn't be going anywhere. The Autobots themselves, on the other hand... they'd be going to his workshop, where he could melt them down. If they were alive he'd listen to them scream. If he killed them before then, he'd have to settle for hearing their screams on this planet instead.

He saw the cassetticon in an energy cage. It was being ignored by the Autobots, who feverishly attempted to load something into their ship. They were expecting attack and trying to escape with precious cargo.

They weren't going anywhere.

Charger stepped forward and opened fire once he was at the minimum range. The Titanium Shredder was a rapid fire weapon, so his shots weren't proving very fatal.

So much the better. He wanted to be closer. He reached for his hammer.

The Autobots sounded the alert. Two of them broke off from the others to engage him, transforming into a pair of rally vehicles.

Alt-modes were for the weak. It suited the Autobots.

Charger rushed them and brought the hammer down.

-

Once the carnage had settled, and he stood over the defeated infiltration cell, Charger called it in. "They're dead."

"What were they trying to escape with?" his commander inquired.

Charger glanced at the crates, accidentally smashed up. Some unfamiliar crystals were scattered, some of them broken by his hammer or his gunshot.

"Dunno'." Charger answered simply.

"Retrieve Buzzsaw. We'll come clean up the site."

"'Kay."

Charger picked up the casseticon's cage and didn't say another word, carrying the little bot back to his ship.

He hated little bots. He didn't like being around them.

He didn't think about it. He just carried the bird back and focused on his anger. Focused on the Autobots.

He'd go back and drag their bodies with him... he'd burn them all down until his rage subsided.

No matter how long that took.

Weapon: Battle Blades
And arrogant jerk makes three:

Treadshot

Name: Treadshot
Allegiance: Decepticon
Sub-group: Decepticon Intelligence
Function: Gunslinger
Alt. mode: Revolver Style handgun
Weapons: Pulse demagnetizer rifle, Catgut (transforms into a particle blaster), fusion powered particle blaster (Catgut + Pulse Demagnetizer Rifle)
Height: 28 ft. / 8.5 m
Quote: “A gun is only as good as the one who holds it!"

Strength: 06
Intelligence: 07
Dexterity: 09
Speed: 03
Endurance: 08
Courage: 08
Firepower: 08
Accuracy: 10
Melee: 06
Tech Skill: 07
Charisma: 06
Rank: 07

Profile: Treadshot earned his much-deserved reputation one shot at a time. Like Sureshot, Treadshot was a sought-after commodity in the Autobot/Decepticon conflict, with both sides wanting the renowned sharpshooters. Treadshot, the superior of the two, made his demands clear; he wanted autonomy and wealth. The Decepticons gladly complied, and the amoral Treadshot found a home for himself. Catgut, Treadshot’s ferociously loyal partner and faithful weapon, enjoys every one of the duo’s homicidal missions to the fullest extent.

Due to his unique skills and demands for general autonomy Treadshot was assigned to the intelligence division. Within it he can move about the empire more freely and be saved for higher profile missions such as assassinations rather then wasted in regular combat. This suits Treadshot quite well.

Abilities: Subject possesses above-average strength, intelligence, and endurance. He is the most skilled sharpshooter known among the Transformers; he can perform complex trick shots and long range sniping with incredible ease. He wields a pulse demagnetizer rifle, which can connect to the particle blaster mode of his Targetmaster partner, Catgut. Subject transforms into a revolver type handgun with a scope, but rarely if ever transforms due to the energy consumption of mass shifting and the dislike of relying on another being to aim him. Catgut possesses razor sharp claws and fangs but is far more deadly in his weapon mode in the hands of Treadshot.

Weaknesses: Subject’s arrogance is as legendary as his skills; he’ll often rely on his gunslinging abilities when some other tactic would be preferable.

Sample Post:

Decepticon Firing Range, Battlecruiser Typhon

First target. Mid-range. Plenty of bulk.

All too easy. Zap!

Second target. Back of the firing lane. Slim.

Not much harder. Zap!

Third target. Mid-range. Vehicle mode. Moving.

Three for three. Zap!

Treadshot lowered Catgut, and turned his attention to the stuttering flier on his right. "I believe we said 50 Shanix, Misfire."

The interceptor sighed irritably. "You said you'd teach me how to improve my aim."

"I did." Treadshot replied simply. "Be more like me."

Misfire reluctantly complied and handed over the credits. Treadshot gave an approving grunt, and stepped away, leaving the interceptor alone on the range, still futilely trying to hit a target at point blank range.

Catgut transformed back to his feline form, following Treadshot down the halls back to the bridge. "He won't bet with you again."

"So what? That guy'll be dead soon anyway," Treadshot replied. "No one that incompetent lives very long."

Catgut shrugged one shoulder in mid-walk. "You could try to help him."

"Why bother?" Treadshot questioned. "Isn't the whole point of the Decepticon movement that the strongest get to prosper over the weak? That success and skill is rewarded?"

"You never want any of them to be your peers?" Catgut asked.

"I don't need any," Treadshot replied flatly. "Long as the Big M keeps pointing me to the big bounties, he can have my gun. Once he bites it... well, I won't have much reason to stick with these losers."

"You think you're so righteous," Catgut sighed. "Why are we still fighting, four million years later? Why haven't you hit Optimus Prime between the eyes?"

"Why end the engex train now?" Treadshot asked. "Let the good times roll, I say."

"Treadshot?"

A new voice. That scrawny Seeker Nightweaver, greeting him on the bridge. A decent shot, but not much firepower in his photon burst rifle. "Who are you talking to?" Nightweaver asked.

Treadshot glanced at the floor. Catgut was gone. He was holding a particle blaster in his hand.

He hadn't heard the transformation sequence. But then... Catgut pulled such disappearing acts all the time. Treadshot was the only one he'd deign to talk to.

"Nobody," Treadshot answered. "What do you want?"

Nightweaver pointed at the command chair. "Boss wants to see you."

Treadshot nodded and stepped onto the bridge. Another day, another gunshot, another payday.

We're going to put this one on hold for now since it was the most iffy of the 3. We'll see how effectively you integrate your two new additions and then re-evaluate this one later down the road, if the interest is still there.

Roadblock

Allegiance: Decepticon
Function: Ground Forces Commander
Alternate Modes: Cybertronian half-track tank
Weapons: Twin plasma blasters, twin rust-bomb launchers, battering ram, Multi-Use Knives, thermal force field
Height: 31ft / 9.45m
Quote: “To show fear is to admit defeat."

Strength: 08
Intelligence: 08
Dexterity: 06
Speed: 07
Endurance: 09
Courage: 10
Firepower: 09
Accuracy: 08
Melee: 08
Tech Skill: 06
Charisma: 08
Rank: 07

Profile: Roadblock knows no fear, and he’ll gladly spit hydraulic fluid on the graves of those who do, Autobot or Decepticon. He has no compassion for those who show weakness, and his troops often fear him more than what might happen to them in battle. In this respect, Roadblock is an excellent leader and motivator. Since his troops know they’ll get no aid from him should they fail, they fight their hardest to avoid being left to die on the battlefield. If his troops are ever reluctant to fight, Roadblock just enters the fray by himself. Few are foolish enough not to follow him into battle after he does this…they know what will happen to them once Roadblock returns, as he always does.

Roadblock’s nature comes from his past. He began his existence as a lowly, golden load bearer whose name has been lost to history. He acquired a small yet more combat capable form and joined the Decepticon forces. He was seen and treated as a grunt. He began working in the Decepticon factories, then as a guard, then as a technician on ships and then as a soldier in a unit. It was as a soldier than he acquired his current name. His unit was charged with holding a defensive position which blocked a key road to a city the Decepticons where besieging. The forces within attempted an all-out attack on that position and the cowardly captain of that position decided to flee. Only one soldier refused to move and he courageously moved from artillery to artillery shooting at the Autobot force coming towards him. His stubbornness delayed the position from being overrun just enough to allow reinforcements to arrive. When his commander returned to the position he was greeting with death at the hand of the courageous soldier’s blaster. Word soon moved through the channels of this brave soldier until it reached Megatron himself who sought him out. It is not known what words were exchanged in that meeting but the soldier left with a new commission and orders for a new, more powerful, body to be built for him. When he next emerged he decided to rename himself to the nickname that the soldiers who had called him in that battle had given him, Roadblock.

Having clawed his way from grunt to one of the most respected commanders in the Decepticon army gives Roadblock no patience for cowardice or weakness. He does not understand why others cannot achieve what he has seemingly oblivious to how extraordinary he is. However, to a rare breed of Decepticon soldier, he is actually very popular. As a commander, Roadblock knows no fear or no defeat. Soldiers who serve under him know that they will not be distracted by internal Decepticon politics. They also know that no matter how seemingly suicidal the task that their commander gives him, Roadblock will not only walk into it with them but he would be willing to do worse. Roadblock is seen as a mech’s mech and arguably the best ground soldier in the Decepticon army

Abilities: Roadblock possesses excessive strength as well as impressive levels of resistance to damage. Highly intelligent, he combines his skills as a warrior, tactician, and strategist with absolutely unshakable courage to be one of the finest combat commanders in the Decepticon Empire. He is especially good in high stress situations where his coolness under fire helps to keep his unit focused. He is the commander of choice for “At all costs” situations.
In his half-track tank mode, Roadblock can attain a speed of over 200 miles per hour, using his sloped rams and treads to go through or over most any obstacle (especially Autobots). His toughness is further generated by a thermal force field. He does not utilize it unless needed in order to conserve energy. In both modes he sports a twin-tube rust-bomb launcher that fires armor-devouring explosive projectiles. He also carries twin blasters which he utilizes in robot mode and also a pair of utility knives.

When his current form was designed Decepticon scientist realized that Roadblock is a much more powerful of a load bearer that was originally thought. His current form, powerful as it is, provides no stress at all to his systems. It is believed that he could handle three times the current weight with no problem. His importance in the battlefield has prevented this be explored further. If it were, however, the results would be frightening.

Weaknesses: Though he lacks any physical weaknesses, Roadblock’s leadership style sometimes invites mutiny by his terrified underlings.

Sample Post:
Roadblock slowly walked through the recently created battlefield. Just a day ago the scream and sounds of weapon fire echoed through the entire valley but now, silence. The debris and corpses that still littered the field made no sound and no one was brave or stupid enough to bother him at the moment. The Decepticons held an important mining operation on this planet which made the local insurrection a true danger to the cause. That is when he was sent.

He saw the rebel dead and he had to give them their due. They certainly were brave charging the defensive positions he had set up, certainly braver than his own soldiers. He had to shoot two just to get them to counterattack when he had called for it. At the end of the day the rebels were more rabble than army and they could not stand against stern discipline and military tactics.

During the fighting the notion of respect had never entered his mind. They were enemies to be killed and that was that. After they had been defeated he had instructed those in charge of diplomacy to offer generous terms of surrender. They had earned that much. The meeting was happening as he walked through this devastated land. He had only appeared briefly in the beginning, a warning to both sides to get this surrender completed, and then left. His domain was war, after all, not peace.

He continued to walk until he had reached an elevated position that overlooked the entire battlefield. He stopped and looked down at the death before him and that moment something came across his face that none of his soldiers had seen before, a smile.

“Glorious.” He said. "Simply a Glorious sight."

This is Skyhammer, I just edited a tiny bit of stuff to fit my playing style. mainly his weapons and function, if that's alright.

Skyhammer

Allegiance: Autobots
Function: Head of Espionage and Reconnaissance, Nebulos branch
Alt. mode: Car, hoverjet
Weapons:
• Thermal Rockets
• Photon blaster
• Energon Riot Pistol
Special Abilities:
• High Intelligence and Stamina
Height: 31 ft
Quote: "There is no disgrace in not succeeding, only in not trying."

Strength: 08
Intelligence: 08
Dexterity: 08

Endurance: 09
Courage: 09
Firepower: 08
Accuracy: 08
Melee: 08
Tech Skill: 07
Charisma: 07
Rank: 07

Profile: If you explained Skyhammer's characteristics to someone, they'd surely think he was a great Autobot. He is an observant and dedicated warrior tenaciously committed to protecting the innocent from harm at the hands of the Decepticons or any other aggressors. Skyhammer is an optimist who never accepts the words "can't" or "impossible." While all of these traits seem good, they don't mention the grating effect he has on his comrades; Skyhammer condescendingly tries to tell everyone how to do their jobs, always explaining how he would do it. His fellow Autobots find it frustrating because although Skyhammer is a valiant fighter who always defends the weak, he's also overbearing and irritating. They feel guilty thinking this way about him, but he brings it on himself.

Abilities: Subject is highly powerful and intelligent. His hover-jet mode is armed with wing-mounted thermal blasters that can liquefy metal and a sensor and tracking array for homing in on targets. Can also transform into a ground vehicle armed with a photon blaster that he also uses as a robot.

Weaknesses: His condescending attitude makes other Autobots less willing to follow his orders, even when he's right.

You did apply for a canon this time, so that was good. But a bit too powerful a canon for a first-timer to this game. So this one is denied. I would scale it back to a smaller character so you can get a feel for the game and also include a sample post when you post it up then we'll go from there.

Approved. Just remember the caveat of him being "a" ground forces commander, not "the". Enjoy!

Imagine a being with no capacity for remorse, warmth, or even compassion - a being for which friendship and basic camaraderie were totally alien concept that suggested only weakness and folly. Such a being would be more monster than mechanoid, which is an accurate description of Scourge. He is a singularly merciless and unstoppable hunter and killer. Scourge's fearsome disposition and physical powers make him a virtual demigod among the Transformers, which should be enough to frighten anyone. But perhaps the most terrifying thing about him is that he represents only the smallest fraction of the strength and evil of the Decepticon Empire.

Scourge is the first of a new breed of Decepticon envisioned by Megatron: a prototype tracker/terminator meant to work alongside the Seekers as the main offensive weapon of the Decepticons, both complementing each other rather than replacing. Unlike the Seekers whom share their loyalties between Megatron, Starscream and number of other high profile Decepticons, the Sweeps were designed to be utterly loyal (some might say fanatical) in preserving Megatron and, by extension, the Decepticon Empire. Some projections indicate that the potential of "The Sweeps" is sufficient to make the Seeker design obsolete for other operations than high speed hit and run attacks, especially if Scourge's vision to make his Sweeps a pack of tracker/terminators under his own command becomes a reality. Only time will tell, but Scourge intends on testing those projections to their utmost and see the results for himself. Needless to say, this intention makes the Seekers very nervous.

Abilities: Scourge is highly intelligent. His physical strength and endurance are far greater than most of Transformers. His scanning equipment is powerful enough to trace someone or something from one end of the galaxy to the other based on the smallest traces. In sweep-craft mode, he is armed with disintegrator cannons that break down the molecular bonds of targets, dissipating them. In robot mode, he is armed with a heat laser that can turn most armor into slag, as well as a variety of fusion and incendiary explosive devices.

Weaknesses: Scourge exhibits no physical weaknesses. His only failing point is his arrogance.

Sample Post:

Planet Emphalious. Andromeda System.

Scourge had been walking around for hours, waiting in the pouring rain on this cesspool of a planet. He hadn't known what made the odd CRUUUUUNCH in the distance, but he didn't like it. He had gone to investigate and had been gone for some 3 hours until he went back to the outpost, dismissing the sound as a common sky-cat. Scourge was assigned to this planet under the assumption that there was a Autobot defense bunker, supplying energy to the "Ark", the miserable Autobots excuse for an evacuation for the civilians of Iacon. Scourge had been sent to obliterate it. He was to infiltrate the bunker by any means necessary. Yet, the thing was, there was no bunker in sight. He had searched and searched and searched tirelessly, but it just wasn't here.

He was just going to hop back on the shuttle when..."Hold it right there, decepticon!" Scourge turned around to see about 30 Autobot grunts. At this sight, Scourge suppressed a laugh. "You really think, you guys can defeat me? Oh, this is just too good. I'm going to enjoy crushing each and every one of your sparks. Now, shall we get started?" The autobots advanced, but they were no match for Scourge, he lifted them up and ripped them in half, he used his heat laser to incinerate them into piles of molten metal. He planted explosives in the spark chambers of some of them and slung the soon to be scrap autobots back at the crowd. BOOM! parts and weapons went everywhere. Scourge was satisfied and went to exterminate the remaining autobots at the bunker, which location he discovered using a mortally wounded autobot's knowledge container. Scourge proceeded to the bunker and scrapped every. Last. Stinking. Autobot. OFF THE FACE OF THE PLANET! Scourge then got onto the shuttle, EXTREMELY satisfied with his work.

Scourge proceeded to the bunker and scrapped every. Last. Stinking. Autobot. OFF THE FACE OF THE PLANET! Scourge then got onto the shuttle, EXTREMELY satisfied with his work.

Denied. This does not fit the bill of a less powerful character, as recommended in my earlier reply. I would recommend PM'ing myself, Ember or Cryhavok for suggestions.

Motto: "You're only as good as you prove yourself to be."
Weapon: High-Velocity Sonic Blaster
Taking your advice insidious, 3rd times the charm!

Name: Fireflight
Allegiance: Autobot
Function: Reconnaissance
Alt. Mode: F-35B Lightning II
Weapons: Fire-Fog Missiles, Photon displacer gun
Quote: "When I'm flying, no enemy is safe--nor friend."

Strength: 7
Intelligence: 5
Speed: 8
Endurance: 8
Rank: 6
Courage: 9
Firepower: 7
Dexterity: 5
Accuracy: 2
Melee: 6
Tech Skill: 3
Charisma: 7

Profile: If Aerialbots needed pilot's licenses, Fireflight would certainly never have gotten his. He's a definite hazard in the skies. He becomes mesmerized by the spectacular views he sees from above, and, consequently, often pays little attention to where he's going, leading to near-crashes with buildings, mountains, and other aircraft. Only constant prodding by his fellow Aerialbots keeps Fireflight's mind on his assigned tasks. But they can't get angry at him- they realize his carelessness is a result of what humans would call "a childlike sense of wonder," and they can hardly fault him for that. Still, flying alongside him is definitely unnerving to the other Aerialbots.

Abilities: Fireflight can fly at speeds up to Mach 2.0 with a range of 1000 miles. In jet mode, he can shoot missiles that explode and release a mist of highly flammable liquid he calls "fire-fog." In robot mode, he uses a photon displacer gun, which severely distorts visual images by altering the course of photons in light waves. Anyone within the vicinity of a blast from this gun would not be able to see things as they actually are until after the gun's effects wear off, which can take up to five minutes.

Weaknesses: As well as being a danger to others. Fireflight is even more of a danger to himself. He just flies badly. And any human passengers inside his cockpit would all too quickly discover this fact- his sudden jerks, jolts, hairpin turns and rapid velocity changes can easily result in a severe neck sprain, at the very least. His poor flying technique also makes him very fuel inefficient.

Sample Post:

"WAHAHAHOOO!" Fireflight yelled as he soared through the skies of Iacon City, narrowly dodging the occasional Skyscraper or passing Arielbot. Fireflight was racing through the skies when, CRACKABOOM! Fireflight came hurtling down, converting just in time to avoid crashing onto the top of the transport. "What just happ-AGH!" Fireflight stared at his shoulder and saw the crackling wires. Energon was dripping out of the wound. "Ugh...gotta...stay...strong..." He grunted, trying to ignore the pain. Managing to get up, he saw what, or WHO, had hit him. A decepticon seeker, standing over Fireflight proudly. "Well, hello there, autobot. Let's see you try to stop me now." The seeker had only just finished his sentence when Fireflight delivered a fierce uppercut with his un-wounded arm. The seeker staggered backwards a look of surprise on his face, his hand covering the new dent on his optical. "So, it looks like you CAN still fight. We'll have to fix that, won't we?" The decepticon advanced, but Fireflight was faster, and hurtled onto the seeker. They wrestled for some time, until the decepticon was holding Fireflight by the neck over the edge of the convoy's roof. "I wonder how far a drop it takes to SCRAP an Autobot..." Fireflight pulled his leg back and kicked the seeker. When the decepticon dropped him, Fireflight used the last of his fuel reserves to boost onto the roof. At that time, Fireflight played dirty. Delivering fierce kicks and punches, Fireflight lifted the wounded seeker up by his leg, and thrust him off the edge of the convoy. "Well, that's the end of that, I suppose." Fireflight, energon dripping from most of his body, laid down on the top of the transport and waiting for the next stop, and when it came, he got off and went to search for a medic.

Alright, this is a workable starter character. Approved. His profile's already up, so you don't need to post it. Just work on your post formatting some as you get the hang of the game. It will make your material easier to read. Make an entry in the role call thread and you can start him out with the Aerialbots in the Autobot City thread in the Earth forum. Have fun!

Ha, ha, ha.

Tantrum

Allegiance: Decepticon
Function: Fueler
Alt. mode: Bull
Weapons: Catalytic Carbine, Electro-Sword
Height: 33ft / 10.07m
Quote: “Anger gets me running better than any other fuel."

Strength: 08
Intelligence: 04
Dexterity: 06
Speed: 03
Endurance: 08
Courage: 09
Firepower: 08
Accuracy: 07
Melee: 08
Tech Skill: 05
Charisma: 03
Rank: 05

Profile: Trying to reason with Tantrum would be as utterly pointless as talking to a lightning storm or fierce wind. Violence and threats are the only things Tantrum deals in, and anger is the only emotion he seems to possess. In fact, his comrades have come up with 20 new classifications of anger just to define the variations in their ally’s myopic mood: “Baseline angry," “Intensely angry," “Completely slagging enraged," and “Everybody run!" are just a few. To take the edge off, Tantrum will often knock down a building of highway overpass, which temporarily makes him feel better. That his condition improves only when he’s hit or hitting something has caused some to wonder if Tantrum’s uncontrollable rage isn’t caused by some misaligned circuit or fuel line that’s been knocked in and out of place. Unfortunately, Tantrum takes aggressive issue with anyone who tries or even suggest altering anything in his head.

Abilities: Subject possesses amazing strength and endurance; his armor is extremely thick and reinforced. He has four exterior fuel tanks (over his legs in bull mode and within his arms and legs as a robot) that can carry additional Energon. In bull mode, his normal range is 1,200 miles at an average speed of 30 mph; with the tanks, he can make it almost 10,000 miles. The tanks can also be used to refuel his comrades. His horns shoot 20,000-volt bolts of electricity, which Subject finds difficult to control when angry. In robot mode, his catalytic carbine fires chemicals that can erode most metals or create new alloys. His electro-sword generates an electrical field; when he cuts an opponent, the damage is magnified by the powerful electric shock the sword applies to the open wound.

Weaknesses: Subject has below-average intelligence and his wild behavior endangers him and his comrades. Though heavily armored, sufficient damage can impair his fuel tanks with explosive results.

Sample Post:

Red. All he saw was red. All he ever saw was red.

Red, red, red. Red, red, red. Red, red, red.

Fragging red.

Fragging red.

Tantrum didn't know why this was the case. For the most part – which was to strongly suggest all the time, in other words – this colour dominated the immense variety of colours your average Cybertronian's vision had the privilege of experiencing. How... nice for them. For Tantrum, however, it was as though his optical lenses had been tinted a shade of crimson, a shade that either increased or decreased in intensity depending on his mood.

As of this moment, only a mild red stained the world around him, a tinge that still permitted Tantrum the benefit of being able to tell the difference between most colours. Or nearly, anyway. Having sort of grown accustomed to the – as he so often called it, “The Primus damned, creator fragging redness!” – Tantrum had forgotten what some colours looked like.

Yellow? Negative.

Green? Come again?

Blue? No such colour as blue. Clearly, that was a trick question.

But whatever. What-fragging-ever. There were more important issues to deal with currently, chief among them the elimination of the Fallen... and putting Rampage back in his place, it seemed. Tantrum hadn't come all the way from the bridge to the bounce chamber to be pushed around by his team-mate. Not in a million vorns.

One astrosecond, Rampage was jabbering on about something, the next he was shoving Tantrum. Only a single reaction existed in this situation. A physical one. A return shove to let little Rampage know that Tantrum wasn't going to take any slag from him.

So little Rampage got all upset like a protoform and asked the question Tantrum had hoped would grace his audio receptors.

The Predacon's forepart of his cranial unit banged against Rampage's. There it remained, as if the two were bound together by an adhesive substance. Challenge noted and accepted.

Tantrum threw his arms out to the side, and leaned forward, burdening his team-mate with some of his weight. “You wanna do this for real? You wanna do this for real?”

The spectators bearing witness to their escalating altercation didn't concern Tantrum. They could cheer him on as he beat the living lubricant out of little Rampage, for all he cared.

A deeper shade of red painted his surroundings.

Red. All he saw was red.

Weapon: Saber Blade
Swiping the application Cry made for this triple changer. Let me know if sample post is needed. I have been following the character on board the Thanatos thread.

Octane

Allegiance: Decepticon
Function: Fueler
Alt. mode: KC-135R Stratotanker aircraft, Kenworth T-660 sleeper truck with tanker trailer
Weapons: Fuel-powered flamethrower
Special Abilities: Able to turn liquid based energy sources into synthetic energon
Height: 35ft / 10.68m
Quote: "He who has fuel has power!"

Strength: 06
Intelligence: 06
Dexterity: 06
Speed: 06
Endurance: 05
Courage: 04
Firepower: 05
Accuracy: 07
Melee: 06
Tech Skill: 07
Charisma: 04
Rank: 06

Profile: Octane is a greedy, mean-spirited bully. Just to prove his own value, he's more than willing to let a Decepticon slip painfully into inoperative status rather than offer him a drop of life-saving fuel. Only after his thirsty victim begs for fuel and praises Octane does Octane relent. He entertains himself by forcing vehicles to swerve off highways and commercial aircraft to abort landing approaches at airports. Crashes caused by him make him howl with laughter. He rebuffs requests by other Decepticons for him to end these wasteful, pointless actions. "I don't tell them how to have their fun," says Octane, "and they have no business telling me how to have mine!"

Abilities: In jet mode, Octane has a range of 10000 miles and can reach a speed of 750 mph and can act as either a fuel transport or as a bomber - able to carry payload of 200,000lbs. In tanker mode, his range is 95,000 miles and he can go up to 190 mph. He can carry 15,000 gallons of fuel and has internal equipment that modifies oil-based fuels into fuel the Transformers are able to use, or solid fuel. He has internal hoses that he uses to drill for and siphon off liquid fuel sources. He is likely to attack a gas station or another tanker truck in his quest to acquire fuel. In robot mode, he carries a liquid-flame thrower, powered by his fuel reserves, and a deflecto-shield, which turns back almost whatever beam or artillery that hits it upon whoever shot it.

Weaknesses: In tanker truck mode, Octane is generally heavily armored to protect himself and his fuel tank. However, he is extremely vulnerable to a hit in jet mode due to the enlarging process leaving his armoring thin. He is not an effective combatant in the air since he has virtually no offensive air to air capabilities in jet mode.

Weapon: Saber Blade
Ground Striker

Allegiance: Autobot
Sub-group: None
Function: Warrior
Alternate Modes: Six wheeled heavily armored ATV
Weapons: Two missile pods, two machine guns, one photon cannon
Special Abilities: None
Height: 35ft/ 11m
Quote: “We are more than sparks. We are Transformers."

Strength: 9
Intelligence: 6
Dexterity: 6
Speed: 4
Endurance: 8
Courage: 7
Firepower: 8
Accuracy: 7
Melee: 4
Tech Skill: 6
Charisma: 5
Rank:

Profile:
Ground Striker knows his purpose. His job is to provide relatively fast artillery support for the Autobots. This however doesn’t stop him from enjoying philosophy and religion. Before the Great War started, he would discuss things like the Guiding Hand with those who would listen. Unlike many Cybertronians who revered Primus, Ground Striker preferred Adaptus because in his mind, Adaptus is the one who truly gave the Cybertronians their uniqueness instead of Primus. During the quiet times, you can still find Ground Striker doing research on the Guiding Hand and the ancient times. Sadly, his research has led him to more dead ends since the knowledge of Primus and ancient days of Cybertron are lost. When Ground Striker saw his first Triple Changer, he was in awe because he thought they were gifted by Adaptus with multiple forms. In his spark, Ground Striker longed to find what he considers the Ultimate Cog, the very first cog which Adaptus changed into. In his mind, such a cog would truly give unlimited transformations as long as the body of the Transformer could handle it and there were enough alt modes available to scan.
When he isn’t day dreaming of this alt form or another, he will follow orders to the nanode.

Abilities:
Ground Striker is a rolling artillery mech. He can move up to 120 mph in the armored car mode and over most terrain with relative ease. He is heavily armored with the exception of the under carriage. The main cannon can use either his personal energy or projectile armaments. The overall design is to have armor of a tank but speed of an average car. His targeting sensors can lock on to a target three miles away with pinpoint accuracy. Once locked on, he can launch his missiles or projectiles out of his cannon. There is a missile pod on each of his side, the main cannon sitting in the middle, and the pair of machine guns sitting one on each side of the main cannon. The machine guns can rotate 180 degrees and the main cannon can move up to a 40 degree angle.

Weaknesses:
In vehicle mode, his under carriage is lightly armored which has caused trouble thanks to some very rocky and spikey terrain. If he uses his main cannon too much, he will quickly run out of energon unless he chooses to use projectile weaponary.

Sample Post:
On the moon Gallek, Ground Striker sits in a bar enjoying an energon\oil mixture and talking about his favorite subject, the Guiding Hand and specifically Adaptus. The current drinking partner, Flytop, looked at Ground Striker.

“Look, if your Adaptus wanted to make certain mechs have multiple forms, and then don’t be jealous. Look at me; I’m a huge dragon fly. It might be interesting to have a flying vehicle mode as well but I’m happy with my single change.”

“But with more alt modes, one could be more useful. I so wish I had the blessing of being a Triple changer or maybe even more forms. Maybe a form isn’t as much towards blowing stuff up even though I do enjoy the occasional running through walls. There is more to me then my guns but I have to wonder if my guns are all they see including my superiors.”

Both mechs are quiet for a click or two until Ground Striker gets an internal message.

“What? You want me to rescue the Rescue Patrol?”

“Give back up to the Battle Patrol?”

“Sheesh, I wonder what trouble Fixit got his group into this time.”

Ground Striker then turns his head back to his drinking partner.

“I’m sorry; I’ve been called to help out with a rescue operation. It is the Rescue Patrol of all groups. It seems they bit off more than they can process, again.”

He then gets up and walks out the bar leaving the tab for the drink. After he readjusts his direction, he transforms and rolls off to meet up with the Battle Patrol and the direction of the trapped Rescue Patrol.

Profile: Predictability is for other, more boring robots, as far as Wildfly is concerned. He prefers to live life from one moment to the next, acting out on whatever crazed impulses he may have at that instant and basically whirl around destroying everything in sight. Wildfly likes to think this makes him the “life of the party” who always does the unexpected; in fact, his behaviour is tiresome and obvious to all of his comrades. They know that Wildfly will pick the most base, violent thing to do in any circumstance, like suddenly flying off to clip the wings off a passing jet airliner he notices or demolishing a nearby office building in the middle of the unsuspecting humans' workday. Wildfly tops off his furious attacks with a cackling laughter, convinced that he just did something exceptionally clever. Only the most sparkless Decepticons can agree.

Abilities: Wildfly possesses slightly above-average strength. In avian monster mode, he can fly at a speed of 200 mph. In robot mode, he is armed with a specially designed photon rifle with laser-targeting for locking onto ground targets while soaring through the air. Wildfly joins with his team-mates to form Monstructor.

Weaknesses: Because of his impish nature, Wildfly often finds himself making poor decisions on the battlefield, as he'd much rather be “spontaneous” than follow orders already issued to him. Naturally, this attitude doesn't always fare too well during combat, leaving him susceptible to injuries he could otherwise avoid by using a little common sense.

It might be interesting to have a flying vehicle mode as well but I’m happy with my single change."

“But with more alt modes, one could be more useful. I so wish I had the blessing of being a Triple changer or maybe even more forms. Maybe a form isn’t as much towards blowing stuff up even though I do enjoy the occasional running through walls. There is more to me then my guns but I have to wonder if my guns are all they see including my superiors."

Both mechs are quiet for a click or two until Ground Striker gets an internal message.

“What? You want me to rescue the Rescue Patrol?"

“Give back up to the Battle Patrol?"

“Sheesh, I wonder what trouble Fixit got his group into this time."

Ground Striker then turns his head back to his drinking partner.

“I’m sorry; I’ve been called to help out with a rescue operation. It is the Rescue Patrol of all groups. It seems they bit off more than they can process, again."

He then gets up and walks out the bar leaving the tab for the drink. After he readjusts his direction, he transforms and rolls off to meet up with the Battle Patrol and the direction of the trapped Rescue Patrol.

Approved. Rank 6. You can start him off on Earth. Enjoy. :D
