Profile: What is more valuable to a commander: loyalty or reliability? Loyalty is a luxury, but reliability is a necessity for effective military operations. Soundwave exemplifies the latter while projecting as much of the former as realistically possible. Soundwave is an indispensable lieutenant and a fierce warrior, with seemingly unshakable loyalty to Megatron and the Decepticon cause. Whenever the Decepticon leader enters combat with Soundwave beside him, he is assured that he will perform his duty unerringly.

Those who had the displeasure of crossing paths with him during his long and illustrious career in Internal Affairs might paint a significantly different picture of him. They might describe him as a sadistic manipulator who respected no personal boundary and took voyeuristic pleasure in wresting the secrets of others. They might accuse him of blackmail, graft, and numerous other self-serving corruptions of his position. However, given the sheer volume of dirty secrets housed within the vast memory banks of the Decepticon known as Soundwave, it is little surprise that Megatron pays little heed to what ‘they’ say.

Soundwave is a Decepticon of many talents. His highly tuned sensors can intercept enemy transmissions and detect the faintest whisper of a sound; his scientific background was the basis for his largely self-taught repair skills (his area of particular expertise is cerebral neurocircuitry); his unique telepathic powers let him extract information from any sentient being, mechanical or biological.

He is a skilled and ruthless fighter when necessary, though not a warrior by nature. He is calm, patient, and composed, often to the point of seeming emotionless - but in truth he is simply callous. Though unfailingly loyal to those few who have earned his friendship, Soundwave regards everyone else as a mere tool or plaything.

As an expert in cerebral neurocircuitry and memory processing, Soundwave is able to utilize Autobot prisoners in some truly unique ways. He has no moral constraints against doing so. In fact, one would be hard pressed to find any moral constraints in Soundwave.

Soundwave was the first Decepticon to infiltrate Earth, and he has been here for nearly 25 Earth years. Some of his fellow Decepticons believe that so long a time with only his Cassettes for company has driven the meticulous mastermind mad. Those foolish enough to air such theories are swiftly and subtly reminded just how sharp Soundwave’s hearing is.

Abilities: Soundwave has great physical strength and intelligence. He is a skilled and highly professional soldier and lieutenant. His internal scanners can detect even the lowest level energy transmissions for communications purposes, as well as sounds that are nearly inaudible to most audio sensors. He can even "read minds" by monitoring the electrical impulses inside someone's brain circuitry, if he's standing within 100 yards of the subject.

He can act as a communications center for the Decepticons, keeping all units within 2000 miles in contact. His internal ECM suite allows him to jam enemy transmissions within the range of 100 miles without help of external amplifiers. This equipment also plays havoc with guided missiles and similar devices. His photographic memory is due to the immense information storage capacity of the dedicated drives in his chest.

Formerly, Soundwave’s alternate mode was that of a cassette player. This form, chosen during the preliminary stages of the Earth Infiltration mission, served him well for many years. The Mass Shifting capabilities of his systems allow him to shrink to the size of a native entertainment device, or one fit for a Cybertronian.

However, he has recently upgraded his alt mode to a more modern hand held microcassette recorder, with his Cassetticons assuming the form of microcassettes. Disguised as this small and innocuous device, Soundwave is once again easily hiding in plain sight.

Soundwave wields a concussion gun and a shoulder mounted, multi-chambered mini-rocket launcher. Soundwave also has great physical strength and is a skilled fighter, able to stand his ground in battle. In both modes, his chest cavity can store the compressed forms of the assorted Decepticon cassettes (aka, Cassetticons), which he can select and launch.

Weaknesses: He has no specific physical weaknesses. The only thing that can really rattle his composure is a threat to his Cassetticons.

Sample:

Somewhere in the Sol System - Decepticon Flagship Nemesis – Bridge

Soundwave sat amongst one of the many command chairs surrounding various terminals in the command center of the Decepticon Flagship. While Megatron had wished to be alone for the time being, the navy-blue and white Decepticon decided now would be a better time than never to take stock of any information he could gather on the ship’s overall status. He accessed the main terminals display screen and began shifting thru the video feed of each security camera, staring at the screen for about five Earth seconds each before he switched to the next. His optics took in nothing of importance, nor did his highly tuned audio receptors pick up on anything he deemed of importance. Maintenance drones and crew members shuffling about, fulfilling their duties as usual, Seekers pacing the corridors chatting about getting wasted back at Maccadam’s. Nothing seemed too far out-of-line.

>>”Laserbeak; Report in.”<< Soundwave commed to his trusty vulture-like spy.

>>”Currently in the Hangar. Nothing big going on at the moment. Though watching some of these vehicons argue with one another is kinda funny.”<<

Though the communications said nothing on the outside, internally he felt himself chuckle a little at the thought. He may have been more robotic in nature than his fellow mechanoids, but the idea of humor did not elude him. Satisfied with the cassetticon’s report, he triggered an onboard return beacon that would silently request Laserbeak to return to his side.

>>”Frenzy, Rumble; Report in.” The Decepticon communications officer inquired as he switched comm.-feeds to his cassetticon duo.

>>”We’re in the bar!”<< Frenzy chimmed in rather quickly and abrasively.

>>”No you bolt-head, it’s a refueling station! We don’t have an actual bar!”<< Rumble replied over the comms though Frenzy was sitting next to him elsewhere in the ship.

Underneath his emotionless mouthplate, Soundwave couldn’t help but feel a sly smile creep upon the side of his face. It had been quite some time since anyone had a run-in with the Autobots so to see his littler friends enjoy themselves free from combat was a pleasant sight to behold. Before the war each of his cassetticons were bottom-tier lifeforms in the optics of the senate’s caste system. Frenzy and Rumble had more of a luxury being miners, but even amongst their fellow diggers they were outcasts. But Laserbeak, Buzzsaw, Ravage, and the others? Vermin, animals, filth… They never stood a chance. That is until Soundwave met them, took them in and treated them as more than just pets. No longer were they treated by outcasts. Then Megatron in all his glory took his rise to power, bringing down the hated caste system and standing up to abolish the Autobot ruling.

Soundwave closed his comm.-line to the dynamic duo, he’ll allow them to enjoy themselves a little while longer. Rising from his seat, Soundwave walked over to the large viewscreen window and stared out to the nearby planet below. His crimson-red visor was practically locked into a staring contest with the planet while his processor went about recalling and remembering the earlier days of the war, back when things were in more in Megatron’s favor. Peace was Soundwave’s ultimate wish for their species, hopefully that is what this war would eventually lead to. If that meant crushing every Autobot-insignia wearing mech who defiled that ideal then so be it. The road to victory could bear a few sacrifices here and there. He did not care for how they would achieve their goal, as long as he was active to witness it all. And that’s what he does best; observe, calculate, report.

Profile: Grimlock’s origins are shrouded in some mystery. His heavy and bulky form tends to indicate he was involved with security or manual labor at some point. Grimlock himself has never been forthcoming on the details.

What is known is that Grimlock made a name for himself in the same underground gladiatorial matches where Megatron rose to power. He quickly became one of the more popular combatants due to his brutal style and showmanship. He maintained a perfect record in matches, his number of victories second only to that of Megatron himself. He was present at Megatron’s final rally before the war broke out.

The warrior surprised many on both sides when he quickly signed up for service in the Autobot military. With his dislike of authority and attitude of the strongest should rule most expected him to join the Decepticons. Perhaps it is due to the challenge of fighting for the underdogs, or finally being pitted against the other great gladiator in Megatron. Maybe deep down Grimlock sees the abject cruelty and mercilessness of Megatron’s way and finds his own beliefs more in line with those of the Autobots. No one but Grimlock knows for sure.

Grimlock proved himself to be a powerful warrior for the Autobots, his strength and skill in battle matched by few. Unfortunately for his superiors he did not take well to any form of authority. He regularly disobeyed or outright ignored any orders he disagreed with up to the point of assaulting his superiors on more than one occasion. He found himself going in and out of the brig depending on his infractions and the need for him on the frontlines.

It was during this time that he would hit upon the idea of creating his own specialized unit. They would operate outside the traditional Autobot hierarchy and rules. Not having to follow the standard Autobot rules would allow them to be a more brutal, savage and effective unit, at least that was his thinking. He recruited four like minded Autobots into a team that would eventually be known as the Dinobots.

The Dinobots proved a highly effective team, scoring victories against the Decepticons on a regular basis. Their unbeaten record was broken when Shockwave destroyed a cache of energon the Dinobots had been hoarding, causing them severe energon burns and equally severe humiliation. They swore revenge on the Decepticon. So, against orders from Optimus Prime, they followed Shockwave when he left Cybertron to conduct experiments on other worlds. When Shockwave reached his first destination—Earth, at the end of the last Ice Age—the Dinobots destroyed his ship.

Unfortunately the group had not come prepared for the high levels of raw energon on the planet’s surface as Shockwave had with personal shielding. They came up with the idea of using the local lifeforms as templates for new alternate modes and covering themselves with synthetic flesh to protect themselves from the high levels of energon radiation. After searching through the fossil record of the planet Grimlock found an acceptable alternate mode in the form of a tyrannosaurus rex. The other Dinobots followed suit with other dinosaur alternate modes.

On teleporting down to the planet's surface to confront Shockwave, they gained an initial advantage, as Shockwave's logic was unable to comprehend the effort and risks they had taken for their revenge. The Decepticon was quick to take advantage of their lack of shielding to the energon radiation and successfully burnt off their organic protective layers, forcing them into stasis lock. Unable to accept another defeat, Grimlock transformed to robot mode and fought against his imminent stasis lock to no avail.

However, before leaving the Dinobots' ship, he had enabled a "dead man's switch" designed to take Shockwave with them if they were defeated. When he entered stasis lock, this failsafe activated, firing on a nearby dormant volcano and causing an eruption which buried Shockwave and the Dinobots under ash and lava.

Thousands of years later the Dinobots and Shockwave were dug up by an archeological team. The dig was quickly seized by the American Government. The Transformers were then transported to Area 51 where they have been experimented on ever since.

Grimlock is a frighteningly effective warrior and an efficient commander who is utterly dedicated to those under his command. He has considerable battlefield experience and is more than willing to make difficult and ruthless military decisions. Grimlock constantly flouts any authority, and that attitude is reflected in his troops, who act more like a gang than a military unit.

Some Autobots wonder why Grimlock is even on their side. His disposition is much more suited to the Decepticons. After all, he values power and strength over wisdom and compassion, and furthermore, he doesn't really get along with most Autobots. When faced with a problem, his usual responses are to slice it with his energo-sword or tear it to pieces with his bare hands. These things, coupled with his dislike of Optimus Prime, have led to a defection or two on Grimlock's part. He'd have no problem offing the Autobot leader if he thought he could get away with it, though.

What the Autobots don't realize is that the only thing he hates more than weakness is those who abuse their strength, meaning when push comes to shove, Grimlock will always fall in on the right side of the fence.

Abilities: Grimlock is an intelligent and skilled military commander; his courage is second to none. He is the most powerful of all the Dinobots, each of whom is a powerhouse. Some say Grimlock is as strong as Optimus Prime or Megatron. In dinosaur mode, Grimlock’s teeth are capable of cutting an armored Transformer completely in two in one swipe. In robot mode, he remorselessly wields an energo-sword and a self-loading rocket launcher that fires both explosive plasma and shrapnel rounds.

Weaknesses: Grimlock’s arrogance sometimes affects his judgment, putting him in over his head. Aside from a lack of speed in dinosaur mode, Grimlock has no physical weaknesses. A recurring viral glitch in Grimlock’s vocal processors often gives him a characteristic speech impediment; this may actually be a benefit as this and his impulsive nature make opponents underestimate his intelligence.

Sample:

The Trion – Bridge

Empty bridge; the perfect sight to behold. From what the Dinobot commander could tell, no one seemed to have stowed away onboard after the evacuation. Unless they were all hiding away elsewhere. Grimlock didn’t care to search the ship on his way from the engineering deck to the bridge, if there was life onboard they’re sure as hell part of the crew now.

“Remember your stations?” Grimlock asked his Dinobot team members as he took his place at the command chair and pivoted it around to face the forward facing viewscreen. “Snarl, Sludge, take positions monitoring engine systems and sensor displays. Slag, check to see if weapon systems are online and working. Swoop, you only one who can fly this thing.”

“When we safe enough distance from ‘Coller, fire Transwarp drive and get us back to Earth.” Commanded Grimlock as he leaned back into his post and relaxed his massive forearms against the arms of his chair. A short breath of satisfaction escaped the Dinobot commander’s vocalize as his and the other Dinobots’ plan all came to gather rather nicely. He could relax for the time being, knowing full well in the back of his processor that what he had just accomplished went against protocol and such. But wait until Ultra Magnus and the other, weaker Autobots could marvel at the sight of the latest in Autobot technology.

Grimlock pivoted his head around the bridge, taking notice of each of his comrades in arms’ actions at their respected terminals. He knew full well that each of them were gonna get the punishment for his latest stunt, and the thought began to burn a hole in his processor. This was his idea, and although each Dinobot played their role in the overall scheme of things, they didn’t deserve to be locked up in a cell should that be the outcome of their actions.

Oh well, Autobot Command can worry about that later, for now they had a war to win! Politics and policies can’t even begin to amount to the mere fact that with this new ship they commandeered, they could bring the entire civil war to an end! Then he can personally end that cycloptic freak who was responsible for their entrapment thousands of years ago only to be rediscovered by humans and shipped to Area-51.

The digits on his left hand began to rapidly clatter against the chair’s arm as they rolled in a wave-like motion. He was growing anxious, or possibly too ecstatic over the idea. Oh who cares what it was exactly, he was just couldn’t wait an astrosecond more.

Sample Post:

The mighty Dinobot Commander strode across the battlefield of a nondescript planet somewhere in the far reaches of the galaxy. It did not really matter where he was exactly, only that war had finally found Grimlock once again. For too long, the former gladiator and his elite squad of Dinobots had been cooped up on either a space station or on a warship. All of that cloak and dagger stuff had been necessary, of course, but it had taken a toll on them. While it was all worth doing in order to commandeer the Trion, the best the Autobot fleet had to offer, it was boring when compared to one on one combat that Grimlock and his unit craved so much. Now, he was at long last back in his element, and it felt so good.

The rocks of the desert-like terrain crunched underneath the Dinobot Commander’s feet as he walked towards the approaching enemy - an army of vehicon drones hellbent on his ultimate destruction. That concept was laughable at best. These were mere vehicons, after all. What could they possibly do to a warrior the likes of Grimlock? Still, at first glance, these vehicons appeared to be larger and more sturdy than the usual kind. Perhaps the Decepticons had finally decided to upgrade their drone army to something more akin to real warriors. The former gladiator would soon find out if his assumption was correct.

Grimlock drew out his energo sword as the first wave of vehicons made their attack. One by one they were sliced in half, decapitated and impaled by the Dinobot leader. Mechanical limbs went flying in all directions as the vehicons attempted to bring down their huge quarry. It was of no use, of course. While these particular vehicons were, in fact, bigger than what Grimlock had encountered before, they were still no match for his power and strength. The first wave fell almost as quickly as they had begun their assault on the Dinobot warrior. Grimlock slammed his robot foot down onto the cranial unit of the final drone, smashing it into a sticky paste of metal and purple fluid.

“Is this all you fraggers got?!?!” Grimlock shouted as the second wave of vehicons stopped in their tracks, hesitant to suffer the same fate as the first wave. “Me, Grimlock no care if you bigger vehicons than the rest. Me will still destroy you all because me stronger!! Arrrggghhhh!!!!” With a deafening battle cry that echoed across the field of battle, the Dinobot Commander put away his energo sword and quickly transformed into his Tyrannosaurus Rex alternate form. This beast mode was something his had picked up millions of years ago on the planet Earth when he and the rest of the Dinobots had followed Shockwave there to seek vengeance on him. That had not gone so well, leaving Grimlock and his team in stasis for countless vorns. It was a situation the Dinobot leader regretted in retrospect, but what he did not regret was the need for revenge, a need that had yet to be satisfied.

One day the cycloptic mech will pay, Grimlock thought as he let out another roar towards the second wave of vehicons, who appeared frightened of the giant monster before them. Fear was a laughable concept to Grimlock, especially for a soldier in war. Fear and weakness were not options when fighting. The strongest would survive. The strongest and bravest would lead. The rest would either follow or die as feeble cowards. That was the way of things in the former gladiator’s mind. But having power did not mean you abused it. Megatron was guilty of just that and so much more. Peace through tyranny? Nonsense! The slagmaker was nothing more than a bully and that was the reason Grimlock could never side with him. The Autobots may be weak in comparison to Grimlock and his Dinobots, but at least they did not prey on and enslave the innocent.

Rushing forward into the second wave of vehicons, the mechanical tyrannosaurus plowed into the first line of drones, sending them flying in every direction. Using his powerful jaws and serrated teeth, Grimlock bit several in half with ease while chewing off the legs and arms of others before spitting them back out again. The Dinobot Commander swung his huge tail around, smashing into several vehicons and knocking others to the ground where he then trampled them to death underneath his dinosaur feet. Grimlock stopped for a moment to survey the sheer carnage that had now become the second wave. Like the gladiatorial pits of old, all had once again fallen to his lone might. Of course, Megatron had been the only exception back then. Perhaps, some day, Grimlock would get a rematch.

Turning his attention to the third and final wave of vehicons, the Dinobot leader transformed back into robot mode and brought his self-loading rocket launcher to bare. Saying nothing, nor giving any warning, Grimlock unleashed a torrent of hellfire at the last of the drone warriors, if they could even be called that. Explosions erupted everywhere as the vehicons were either destroyed in a blaze of glory or fled with their tail pipes tucked firmly between their aft plates. Both sights made the Dinobot Commander smile underneath his face shield.

>>”Commander Grimlock, this is Snarl. Sorry to interrupt, but we are approaching Sol-3. We should arrive in approximately three breems. Thought you might want to know.”<<

And that was that. It had been fun while it lasted, but now reality had taken hold once more. Grimlock stopped firing at the faux vehicons and placed his weapon away before opening a comm line back to the Desert Warrior on the bridge of the Trion:

>>”Understood, Snarl.”<<

“End simulation,” Grimlock ordered aloud as the images slowly faded away, leaving only blackness all around him. Before he knew it, the Dinobot Commander found himself sitting alone in the Captain’s quarters located just off the main bridge. Looking down, Grimlock withdrew his hands from the interface slots of the access terminal in front of him. His mind had been inside a virtual reality training session, a simulation unlike anything that could be found in a standard practice facility. It had felt so real to him, but yet wasn’t real at all. Without a doubt, the Trion was the most technologically advanced warship Grimlock had ever seen. Still, regardless of these incredible advancements, the former gladiator preferred fighting the real thing and not a mere figment of the ship’s computer playing around with his processor. Hell, even a holomatter simulation would be more preferable and far less invasive, but at least it had kept him from being bored for a time.

Standing from his seat, Grimlock turned and made his way to the door that would lead him back onto the main bridge. Soon, he and the Dinobots would be back at the planet called Earth where they would likely face Prowl’s wrath for the theft of the Ark-19 not to mention the commandeering of the Trion from Cas Coller. The Dinobot Commander was not afraid of Prowl or Ultra Magnus for that matter. The black and white had seen fit not to chase after them when the Ark had initially been taken. Therefore, it must not have been that big of a deal to begin with. Besides, once Autobot Command saw the magnificence of the Trion and how it could help turn the tide of the war, all would be forgiven.

Hopefully.

Profile: Starscream makes no secret of his ambition to overthrow Megatron as Decepticon Leader. He is ruthless, cold-blooded and cruel. In that sense the two rivals are very much alike. But he has a vain side that clearly distinguishes him. He considers himself the most sophisticated and handsome of the Decepticons. He exudes a high-class, urbane air that provides a certain irony to his murderous tendencies. He looks down at Megatron for being antiquated in his military strategy. Starscream believes the Decepticons should rely more on guile and speed rather than brute, destructive force to defeat the Autobots.

Starscream displays a kaleidoscope of personality facets and emotional undercurrents of which he himself is not fully aware, but which are not entirely lost on his comrades. He can be arrogant, selfish, and single-mindedly ambitious, forever seeking to unseat Megatron and assume command himself - but his schemes always seem to backfire as though he were subconsciously sabotaging himself. He forges ahead with supreme confidence, and can display astonishing perseverance in the face of repeated setbacks, but then may trip over his own insecurities.

Acknowledged for his combat skills but otherwise often disdained by his comrades despite his constant scrabbling to gain respect, he isolates himself further in a bristling shield of psychological armor. He can waver in an instant from deathless courage in battle to desperate pleas for appeasement in response to an enraged Megatron, when he's stepped too far over the line. Megatron overlooks the potential threat Starscream represents for one very good reason: Starscream is very good at his job.

Abilities: Starscream is one of the fastest flyers of the Decepticons, Mach 5 being nothing more but a cruising speed for him. He can climb to sub-orbital altitudes of 52 miles and nose-dive down to near ground level in mere minutes. This makes him particularly effective in surprise attacks and hit-and-run actions. He can shoot cluster bombs a distance of 40 miles, each of which can level an area 10,000 feet square. His null-ray rifle can interrupt the flow of electricity in any circuitry it hits for periods of up to two minutes, effectively preventing the operation of many machines dependent on those circuits during that period.

Weaknesses: Starscream tends to overrates himself often, and finds himself in situations that are more than he can handle. His nose-dives often overload his gyro-circuitry leaving him disoriented briefly. But, overall, he is a very tough nut to crack.

Australia - Uluru

Starscream’s systems began to come back online after being temporary knocked out by the primitive weapon the rock lord bludgeoned him with. His optical covers blinked rapidly as his focus on the world was slowly restoring itself back into order. He found himself lying with his back on the ground, staring straight up into the skies he had previously been racing through. Aerialbots and seekers alike darted by overhead while the Fallen’s elemental birds blazed a trail after them.

The seeker commander slowly began to push himself back up upon his feet, only to catch himself coughing up a small amount of Energon as he sat with a knee in the red dirt of the Australian countryside. The red and white seeker stared at the magenta fluid that stained his actuators. Normally it was a sight he would relish, whether it was an Autobot’s or Megatron’s, but this… This was his own Energon reserve. Starscream gritted his teeth together as a scowl made a presence on his faceplate, anger taking over what most would consider the ‘best’ of his twisted personality.

“Nobody strikes Starscream down when he’s got his back turned…” The red and white Seeker commander growled as his fists clenched into tight balls. “Nobody!!” Raising both of his arms towards the golem that had struck him earlier, the Seeker commander unleashed a devastating barrage of white-hot trails of violet-colored hellfire from his null ray cannons. The barrage was too much for the golem to handle who in turn was quickly reduced to a pile of rubble and gravel. Starscream rose to his feet and approached the rubble pile. Already he could full well the reformation process beginning to take place as stones and rocks rolled over one another as they tried to regroup into one singular mass. Retaining his scowled expression, Starscream sank his boot into the dirt above one of the moving stones and twisted his foot in place, grinding one of the larger of the rocks into rubble as if he was stepping onto a measly insect. Having gotten ‘somewhat’ of a upperhand on his victim, an all too familiar smirk replaced his former snarl. “Let that be a lesson to you… Pebbles.”

Turning away towards the rest of the battle, Starscream revert back into his F-22 jet mode and immediately rocketed himself into the skies above. To him this was his domain. He may not have been the leader of the Decepticon regime, but in the air was the king.

>>”Attention, everyone! This is Prowl! As you know by now these rock lords can reform no matter how many times we knock them down. Therefore, we must leave nothing left to reform. Our best option is to try and push them back towards the fire tornadoes and force them into those swirling infernos. With any luck, the intense hellfire will turn their sandstone bodies into solid glass! I don’t care how you all do it. Just work together and make it happen!"<<

“Hmph, better late than never to deliver a solid plan, Autobot.” Starscream scoffed as he readjusted his altitude in preparation to make another strafing run at the fiendish golems. “Though the plan is sound, I must admit… Now would be my best chance of rallying most of the Decepticons into following some sort of order while Razorclaw blindly spearheads his front on the mountainside with his... Beastly aquintances…”

Swooping down and reverting back to his robot mode, Starscream hovered several meters above the ground and began peppering at the… well let’s just call them ‘feet’ of the elemental deities the fallen had spawned. A couple turned away from their targets and made a stumbling approach towards the hovering Seeker.

“That’s it… Just follow dear old Starscream towards your end you rocky freaks…”

Weapon: Automatic Acid-Pellet Gun
First off, I am well aware that this is one of those things that will be decidedly out of character for me. But what the scrap I may as well at least set the stage for something really really good.

I used the established profile in the roster forum. However, the Sample Post is my contribution.

Profile: Thunderwing is a supremely confident being. He is convinced that he has an important role in history to play, to provide a benefit that only he can offer the Decepticons and take his place among the great leaders of the faction. To some, particularly to those below him, this confidence can be inspiring. To others it is seen as the height of arrogance.

Thunderwing is highly educated and intelligent, knowledgeable in topics ranging from history to Transformer biology. He presents a fine balance of self-controlled discipline and passionate inspiration. He is possessed of an infinite patience and keen observational skills. Thunderwing is also a driven mechanoid who will stop at nothing to achieve his goals. When he cannot achieve his goals through other means he is not above using his talent at treachery, subtlety and deceit to obtain them. If even those fail he will resort to his other valuable commodity, raw power.

In battle Thunderwing is a fierce opponent. Aside from his physical abilities he is a keen strategist. He will wait and observe his opponent, waiting for the moment of weakness before he strikes. When he does make his attack it is often unexpected, occurring with blinding speed and ferocity. He will commit all of his resources and abilities to a single devastating attack, sometimes to his detriment if reinforcements are needed later.

History: Thunderwing was an ambitious and intelligent Cybertornian prior to the outbreak of the war. The future Decepticon’s build and intelligence allowed him a great deal of freedom and mobility in Cybertronian society. With his intelligence and single minded focus he was able to accumulate a sizable amount of wealth and power through shrewd investments in energy supplies and off world investments. With the wealth he had acquired he was able to claim a sizeable portion of land on Cybertron known as Valkasta. This would become his home and base of operations.

Economic or even political power as not what drove Thunderwing however. The mechanoid was far more interested in the untapped potential of Cybertronians as a species. He knew that they were bound for something greater then the mundane existence the lived now. They simply needed to be pushed out of the rut they had dug themselves into. At first he decided the solution was to unlock the potential inside of individual Transformers.

Thunderwing was unafraid to search through the scant history of their race for information that others found little use of, including older, more unorthodox experiments in the past. With his power and wealth he even acquired bits of ancient data left by Jhiaxus. With the knowledge he gained he began a series of experiments on Transformer biology. These experiments would sometimes border on the unethical, including modifying other Transformers to varying degrees. He argued that these modifications were only improvements on the beings he had performed them on, but not everyone agreed. When word of these experiments got out he was rebuked by the science council and he agreed to never perform modifications on other Transformers, but when safely ensconced in what was becoming his stronghold in Valkasta the experiments continued, even going so far as to perform them on himself.

As time passed Thunderwing began to notice the decay of Cybertronian society. Perhaps due to his study of the planet’s history he was aware of it before the general population was. With revolution looking like a distinct possibility he began looking for the likely starting point for it while at the same time he began shoring up his own position. Shrewd investments were made in key technologies such as repulsors, weapons and energy production. At the same time he looked for the spark that would ignite the coming revolution. He saw that potential in the underground gladiatorial fights and the growing ‘Decepticon’ movement.

It was not just the spark he saw here, but a personal opportunity. He was drawn towards the modifications the gladiators made to themselves as they aligned a great deal with his experiments. Soon Thunderwing began making similar modifications to himself, greatly enhancing his strength and durability. With his contacts on Cybertron he was able to get in touch with the Constructicons and assisted them in some design and repair work while supplying them with the raw materials they needed to keep the games going. At the same time he began training with the gladiators and studying battle tactics and strategy. As he had proved with the various sciences he was a quick learner when it came to combat.

When the war finally did break Thunderwing was well prepared. His manor in Valkasta had been transformed into a fully armed and armored fortress. The various technologies he had acquired would help fuel the Decepticon war machine in the early part of the war. He was welcomed fully into the Decepticon movement with open arms. He believed that their victory would be inevitable and that the Cybertronian race would rise up to achieve its true potential of bringing order to not just their species and world, but to all worlds.

Thunderwing rose rapidly up the ranks of the Decepticons thanks to his cunning and battlefield prowess. He soon became one of Megatron’s top lieutenants and science advisors, particularly after Shockwave’s disappearance. With his fortress and powerbase still heavily entrenched in Valkasta Autobot propaganda began referring to him as the ‘Warlord of Valkasta.' It was a title that Thunderwing took some liking to.

Some time after the disappearance of Shockwave, Thunderwing reached a similar conclusion on the eventual fate of their world if the war proceeded as it was. Even with the technologies he had acquired in energy production he was only staving off the inevitable energy shortage environmental collapse of Cybertron. He attempted to warn scientists on both sides about the impending ecological disaster but his words fell upon deaf ears.

With his warnings unheeded, Thunderwing took it upon himself to do something. He saw this as his moment to change the history of his people. He went back to his work on Cybertronian biology. He withdrew himself from the active battlefield and back to his lab. There he restarted his forbidden experiments with renewed vigor, seizing captured Autobots for his experiments.

As Cybertron disintegrated around him the Decepticon created the polydermal grafting process. This process involved the grafting of semi-organic tissue culled from living subjects onto a Transformer to create an armored symbiotic carapace. The technology would allow a Transformer to survive the pending environmental collapse of their homeworld. At the same time it would enhance the Transformer, providing him with an extra layer of armor that could be controlled by its host via mental contact. It was the next step in Transformer evolution that he had always sought. Thunderwing ignored the evacuation orders and instead tested the process on himself. The test was a success and the Decepticon was capable of remaining on Cybertron despite the toxicity of the atmosphere. He has remained on Cybertron perfecting the technology on himself, grafting additional weapons and abilities in to it from some prisoners he had kept in stasis.

Thunderwing recently became aware that Cybertron was slowly detoxifying itself. The atmosphere has recently become habitable again, if only barely. Now it is time for the Decepticons to return to their homeworld so they can view his greatest creation and one he hopes can swing the tide of the war.

Abilities: Subject possesses great strength, endurance and intelligence. His densely armored outer carapace magnified his formidable strength considerably. The shell itself is a veritable armory of weapons, including electrostatic rifles in the shoulder gun ports, a corrosive laser in the forehead, and hoses in his chest that emit damaging gases. His signature weapon in this mode is a quad barreled laser cannon. The weapon is nearly the size of Megatron’s fusion cannon and is usually held in one hand. It is capable of rapid cycling fire from each of the barrels or a more powerful single shot from all the barrels at once. Subject can deploy his alternate mode wings while in robot mode to increase flight speed and maneuverability. This has the drawback of making him a larger target however. Otherwise they remain folded on his back. In interstellar jet mode, the shell can still make use of the electrostatic guns and gas ports, in addition to a full load of explosive plasma-charged bombs and two wing mounted cyclone cannons (also usable in robot mode). The outer shell has a series of back-up power supplies, including a neutron power pack that enhances all of Subject’s firepower by 50 percent. Subjects inner robot transforms into a space shuttle armed with a laser cannon. The cannon is also usable in his robot mode. The inner robot can transform with the outer carapace to form a super interstellar jet with all alternate mode weapons at its disposal.

Weaknesses: Subject’s obsessive tendencies threaten to override his logic in key situations.

Sample Post:

The typical din that pervaded the bridge of the Decepticon Battleship Thanatos had been reduced to an eerie quiet that was disturbed only periodically by the warble from the various manned stations alerting their personnel of changes in status or movements of various Earthen debris. Minor variations in the alert tones combined into a tense harmony that only served to enhance the near sense of abandonment that filtered through the few crewmembers that had remained behind under Razorclaw’s direct command. Two rows of consoles that lined the middle segments of the bridge, twelve consoles per side, had few participants in the daily grind of running the powerful Instrument of Destruction that characterized Shockwave’s own personal design. Ten of the normal forty eight stations were presently manned. Helm and Navigation were fused to the responsibilities of a single freshly minted Vehicon that had been pulled from the maintenance staff after its predecessor had met with a rather violent demise during the brief skirmish for the throne. Tactical was at a loss, as most of the batteries had been rerouted to a pair of consoles that fell under the prevue of a nondescript yet surprisingly efficient scout type. The others were monitoring life support and repairs that were still under way since the battle’s conclusion. It was an admirable feet as the downtrodden and at times disrespected minions of the lower castes were able to rise to the challenges.

To most such actions would be a surprise, as they were hardly combat models. Indeed nearly all of the combat type vehicons had been summoned to the arid surface of the backwater world that loomed upon the forward view screen like a blot of corrosive acidic reactions of blue, white and brown that had been cut in half by the edge of a micro precision vibration blade. Individuals stepping beyond their programming, beyond their function, it was the hallmark of the Decepticon credo. It was the original excuse used by Megatron himself in his mad grab for power… at least before it all devolved into a grizzled civil war.

On the elevated island platform that stretched over the columns in the control well, was set a ring of surveillance command interfaces built around the thick and tall backed throne shaped chair. A dozen holographic displays circled around an invisible cone of light embedded at the pinnacle of control arc. Each of the windows was a vast wealth of information being subconsciously transmitted from the surface of the wretched planet below by vehicon soldiers or by the noncombatant laborers who had been dispatched to erect ill advised defenses. As each screen updated a faint haunting glow flickered upon the narrow toothed maw of the command chair’s inhabitant.

Slowly the silhouetted figure pressed his finger tips together forming a large steeple as he leaned back in the symbol of command. He rested his elbows upon the arm rests before absently tapping the two index fingers together, further obscuring his vestige from the dim lights of the changing monitors. Each monitor flickered briefly as line items were absorbed and rendered into visual data… the signals becoming more and more strained. It was an expected development for any battle as each passing moment a number on the lower stationary displays were flashed before going gunmetal gray.

The figure’s dimmed optics absorbed the data almost as rapidly as it changed in accordance to the real time shifts in the paradigm on the battlefield. Each icon on the flat screen tactical display moved about the base of the sandstone monolith the humans called Ayers Rock. Autobots and Decepticons, though there were decidedly more Decepticons than Autobots displayed on the field of battle, those numerical differences were waning on a staggering pace. The Decepticon Air Force alone had suffered catastrophic losses, leaving enough alive to possibly reform two squadrons but by the estimations of the tactical computers even that figure was unlikely. NCO’s of the Vehicon ground forces had been eradicated, most of the survivors were rudderless and being shredded by the advancing energy signals of near unprecedented calibers. One communiqué log that had been transmitted to the bridge had simply labeled the creatures as Rock Lords, a pathetic name to something so primitive yet so effective.

A dart of the left optic forced the holographic display to switch from the tactical maps to more live feeds from various unit scouts that were still functional albeit out of the fight. In rapid succession short feeds were absorbed into the data base showing stills of the Decepticon military succumb to a flawed and poorly devised stratagem. Details were not necessary; the images spoke for themselves as the massive stone creatures lumbered in and out of view of the stationary Vehicons before they too were to join the great All Spark with those who had fallen before. A pair of feeds slowly came into resolution after the twenty seventh sweep of the available frequencies. Their locations were immediately recorded on the tactical display, near the heart of the heaviest fighting that had been registered.

Breaking his position briefly, the right hand reached over to the control panel inset in the arm rest. Immediately the two feeds were set into a single holographic window causing the images to inhabit the split screen. Upon the right screen was a ten second recording of a large lime green construct. Many times larger than its components which were still recognizable in its unrefined design, the construct appeared to be relentless in its offensive prowess as it reached down and plucked a Rock Lord from the ground with both hands and heaved it straight into two more reconsolidating monstrosities. The left screen was a recording of five seconds. Its contents were as interesting as those of the right.

Its footage was brief and damning. Six Autobots had made it to the summit with Ultra Magnus diving into the fight in order to bring the battle to a quick conclusion. The abominations of Springer, Sandstorm and Broadside had narrowly escaped an instantaneous death by the efforts of a fellow soldier. Those were the actions of the foreground. They were the actions that were utterly predictable by the likes of the Autobots. Self sacrifice was a notion of the weak and rudderless. And while the close range barrage of weapons fire towards the engagement’s lone objective was entertaining… it was what was going on in the background that was of the most interest. The Predacon Commander and his would be usurpers were drawing back.

After such heavy losses it was only natural that a commander of an army would withdraw and regroup to save their forces for a future engagement. Tactically it was acceptable, even strategically advisable given their ill advised alliance with their most hated enemies. However, given the recent past and the methods of deceit and mutiny that had given rise to the heights that Razorclaw presently enjoyed… the very act of relinquishing any standing to the Autobots could be viewed as treason… with the appropriate spin on the events and evidence provided to bolster the claims should they arise.

The right index finger tapped a new set of commands into the armrest console. The right image was immediately filtered from all records and all appearances of the green construct were scrubbed. Copies of the data were transferred to subspace computer cores that were not part of the Thanatos’ main computer network. Once that was done a second set of commands was entered and the records of the battle on the surface of Earth as well as a full testimonial of the events that had lead up to the current catastrophe that was evolving on the planet was amended to the data package.

Without Soundwave present to monitor the ship’s communications or hamper his efforts, the entire data package was uploaded into a triple encrypted subspace network. Moments later the monitor flickered gold in acknowledgement that the data had been compressed and successfully uploaded to the transmitter. A third command was entered and the data was copied multiple times and sent to various vaults across the empire. Each data packet was tagged with a quantum detonator protocol, that should his cybermetrics ever cease their continual updates with his private laboratories located throughout the cosmos, the data packages would transmit to every single Decepticon Official, Warlord or Commander in the galaxy. Of course, once things were in place, such a transmission was all the more likely.

The fourth command was entered into the system and eradicated the evidence of the transmission while installing mining programs and worms into the main computer and sub computer cores. Each program branched out and slowly began to infect the historical data banks of each core, harvesting data that pertained to the world below, regardless of sensitivity. Once their harvest was completed, they would transmit their findings to the off network core before they too would eradicate themselves leaving no evidence of their existence. It was time to begin ending this foolish notion that this world held any significance.

He completed his brief task before returning his hand to the steeple. Before him the lone image of Razorclaw ordering the Decepticons to fall back burned brightly. In the ghastly hue of light a narrow grin emerged from behind the fingers as the vestige of Thunderwing leaned forward. “Excellent,” was the lone word he would offer as the rest of the scene played out.

Medical Lab

Thunderwing replayed the events of his most recent fight with Razorclaw and his Predacons. It infuriated him that a beast was able to best him. He did have to admit Razorclaw as a mighty warrior but still a beast. The fight should have been an easy one but it came down to number of troops. If it was only Razorclaw he fought then he would have bested the beast easily.

This problem must be rectified and soon. I need troops, allies of my own to face off against the Predacons when the timing comes once again to challenge for the throne. Shockwave would agree with me that Razorclaw isn't fit to lead but he also suffered his own major wound. It will be wise to expand the use of MY Pretender technology but only the most worthy can wear it. The power it will bestow should not be wasted as well as the time to construct and the resources the suit for the individual.

Ding...ding...beep...beep...hiss. The cr chamber open up and a fully functional Thunderwing steps out. Not wasting time, Thunderwing scanned for his shell to find it right next to him. He open it up and entered ignoring everyone in the lab. Once he was secured in it he went straight to the bridge.

Bridge

He noticed a very empty bridge being ran on autopilot. Thunderwing walked over to one of the many consoles and brought up an image of the happenings on Earth. After examining it for a few minutes, he closed it and brought up a roster of all Earth Decepticons.

"It seems Razorclaw is throwing everything he has against this Fallen creature including a ghost from the past in the form of the giant Constructicon. I have to wonder how long they had that little project under wraps. If they had it during the fight for the throne they would have used it so must not be too long. It be interesting to see how they got the resources and time to put themselves together like that but such thing is for another mech like Soundwave or other security officers. However this new gestalt will still be a tool to be used either by cooperation or by other convincing methods. The fight against this ghost inhabiting the Autobot seems to not going well even though his minions were brought down. It is time to make my impression on this enemy."

Thunderwing walks over to the communication station and opens up a channel first to the Ultrax.

"Ramjet and the occupants of the Ultrax, this is Thunderwing. If you have not heard Razorclaw has temporary claimed the throne left by Megatron by trial of combat. I do not intend on letting him keep it for long. I have an offer to let all of you to bounce aboard an empty Thanatos since Razorclaw took almost every single last Decepticon to fight against the Fallen along side our bitter enemies the Autobots. There is one condition though, you will work for me as part of my new group. If you prove yourselves, you might become my personal body guards. The most worthy will also get a major upgrade. I will not ask you to sacrifice yourself by fighting the Fallen like Razorclaw would have you do. All I ask is to keep the Thanatos secure until I return."

Once he closed the line, he open up a more private one to Shockwave.

"Shockwave, we both know Razorclaw is unfit to rule the Decepticons. I understand why you are letting him have his way now. I'm updated on the fight on Earth and it disgusts me that we are fighting along side our bitter enemies. I would have expected Razoorclaw to use them to soften the Fallen up but I guess he is too weak to remove all of our threats. I have a couple of ideas but will be using your lab before I head down there to finish what the weak Razorclaw can't do."

After he closed the channel, he headed toward Shockwave's lab and broke the security codes.

"Shockwave you can be so predictable with your security. I guess it would keep lesser beings out. Let me see if I can find what I'm looking for. Ah, here is the brain shell which Bombshell had used for his own template. Now to modify it for my designs for it."

Profile: Darkfire has been with Decepticons since their earliest days. A long time member of the Cybertronian underground and a veteran of several gladiatorial pits, it was only natural for her to join the Decepticon cause when a gladiator named Megatron proposed revolution. Darkfire participated in many an assassination against the various political figures at the time, taking a unique pleasure in her work. Her spark sister, Foxfire, had the misfortune of being one of the lower class. As a jet-former, Darkfire had been rather privileged in the caste system the Senate had set up, but her sister did not. Foxfire required special medical attention for a rare condition that she'd been forged with. Unfortunately, that required either status or credits of which Foxfire had neither.

Darkfire fell into the underground to gain enough credits to pay for her spark sister's treatment, but eventually found that she thrived in that sort of work. She kept it a secret from Foxfire, knowing her law-abiding, sweet sister would never approve. So, when Foxfire eventually discovered Darkfire's true profession, she berated the assassin and begged her to stop. Darkfire stubbornly refused, and kept sending her sister credits. Unbeknownst to her, her sister refused her credits and as the unrest grew worse, went to a relinquishment clinic.

Darkfire is the quiet type and always has been. She follows orders without any hesitation or question. She seems to lack a conscience and has carried out multiple atrocities with as much reservation as one would have for killing a fly. Darkfire’s cold demeanor emanates from her in such a way that others usually tend to avoid her. She holds a no nonsense approach to missions. Despite her cold demeanor, Darkfire is no stranger to sarcasm and the intricacies of speaking. Although she is familiar with tact, Darkfire doesn’t often employ its use, preferring to speak frankly.

Unlike the stereotypical seeker, Darkfire's design is rather unique. Darkfire's wings actually break apart and form part of her armor covering her back. As a result, her armor can be reconfigured to hold containers or other such burdens. The wheels of her alternate form decorate the outside of her ankle. The cockpit of the jet does make up her chest, but overall, Darkfire generally appears to have a land based alternate mode at first glance.

Unlike most Decepticons or Autobots, Darkfire’s optics are not blue or red. Instead, they are violet.

Abilities: Darkfire possessed superior agility in robot and alternate modes. While not the fastest of jets, she is by no means slow. Although Darkfire is a practitioner of Metallikato, she also has a grasp of the other various fighting styles such as Circuit-Su and Crystalocution. She is deadly in close combat and even more when she attacks from the shadows. Her particle beam rifle fires a concentrated beam of energy that can usually pierce a hole through any target. Her hands can retract and give way to her flamethrowers, spewing out a stream of molten chemicals that continue to burn long after the heat has faded. When confronted in close combat, Darkfire has her electro sabre to fall back on, which carries its own electrical charge to further stun or damage enemies.

Darkfire is painfully intelligent, able to analyze all situations and their possible outcomes in an astrosecond. Her intelligence extends over into her resourcefulness when faced with a sticky situation. She also has the moderate ability to hack into some databases. While she is no expert hacker, Darkfire is adequate enough in her ability. Darkfire will almost always have several contingency plans when preparing to go out on any assignment.

Darkfire's actuators are clawed, allowing her to use them as weapons as a last resort. She can scale walls and cling to ceilings with the help of both her claws and agility, allowing her to move around in unconventional ways. As an assassin, Darkfire is familiar with the usual unconventional entry points in guarded facilities. She is practiced in the art of silent movement, hardly making a sound as she walks normally, making none when she tries to be covert.

Weaknesses: While mostly detached from the surrounding world, Darkfire does have a temper. She is prone to make mistakes when she gets angry and willingly fall into traps at times. Also, she prefers to work alone and being forced to work in a group may cause her to snap at comrades in her team and, in severe cases, disobey orders. Darkfire is easily annoyed by what she considers incompetence and does not hesitate to point it out bluntly. Darkfire occasionally toys with her targets like a cat and mouse, and this may allow her target to deal severe damage to her or escape her.

Sample Post:

Australia – South of Ayer's Rock

In a flash of bright light, Darkfire materialized in the arid, blustery desert near Ayer's Rock, immediately buffeted by the sandstorm. Upon further inspection, it appeared as though some sort of rock monsters were wandering within it. From above, the burning shapes of something decidedly fiery soared in the skies above the rock. What on Earth had she gotten herself into now? Opening up a comm link to those she knew would be down here, Darkfire grumbled.

>>”Psychout, where are you?! Sheesh, wake up from a little CR nap and the whole world's gone to bits. Landgrab and Crueljaw close by?”<<

Darkfire scowled as she scanned the area once more, using the jet thrusters to get a little altitude to increase her search radius. That group of rock things were attacking...the triple changers...no...that one...Ah. There they were. Crueljaw was breaking everything as usual. Landgrab was following behind...hm? Sniper shot. Trace the trajectory...ah. A speck! That speck would be Psychout. But perhaps she should help deal with these rock lords first.

The assassin zipped over to them, maintain her flight in robot mode, it being quieter than her alternate mode. Her hands retracted, replaced by the nozzles to her flamethrowers. In another instant, she was covering the golems in molten chemicals. The golems took notice and batted at her, but all Darkfire had to do was fly up out of their range and keep blasting them with her flamethrowers. Eventually, one of the golems began to slow, becoming more translucent until he froze completely, now glass.

Retracting one of her flamethrowers, Darkfire drew out her particle beam rifle and fired at the glass golem's knee. It shattered and the rest of the golem soon toppled over, shattering as it hit the sand. It wasn't going to get up again. She flew over the titan that Psychout had disintegrated with his sniper shot and doused it with her flamethrower for good measure.

>>”Honestly, you people,”<< Darkfire growled to the whole team over the comms, >>”No finesse. How you get by is beyond me.”<<

>>”Laserbeak; Report in."<< Soundwave commed to his trusty vulture-like spy.

>>”Currently in the Hangar. Nothing big going on at the moment. Though watching some of these vehicons argue with one another is kinda funny."<<

>>”Frenzy, Rumble; Report in." The Decepticon communications officer inquired as he switched comm.-feeds to his cassetticon duo.

>>”We’re in the bar!"<< Frenzy chimmed in rather quickly and abrasively.

>>”No you bolt-head, it’s a refueling station! We don’t have an actual bar!"<< Rumble replied over the comms though Frenzy was sitting next to him elsewhere in the ship.

I did make a very minor update to Grimlock’s profile since we are well past the Dinobots’ rescue from Area 51. The change in question is in bold print down in the profile section.

Name: Grimlock
Allegiance: Autobot
Function: Dinobot Commander
Alt. mode: Tyrannosaurus Rex
Weapons: Energo sword, self loading rocket launcher
Height: 38ft / 11.59m
Quote: “Among the winners, there is no room for the weak."

Strength: 10
Intelligence: 08
Dexterity: 06
Speed: 03
Endurance: 10
Courage: 10
Firepower: 08
Accuracy: 08
Melee: 10
Tech Skill: 05
Charisma: 09
Rank: 09

The Transformers were then transported to Area 51 where they were experimented on by human scientists. Eventually, the Dinobots and Shockwave were awakened and finally freed from their captivity, after which they returned to service with their respective factions.

“Is this all you fraggers got?!?!" Grimlock shouted as the second wave of vehicons stopped in their tracks, hesitant to suffer the same fate as the first wave. “Me, Grimlock no care if you bigger vehicons than the rest. Me will still destroy you all because me stronger!! Arrrggghhhh!!!!" With a deafening battle cry that echoed across the field of battle, the Dinobot Commander put away his energo sword and quickly transformed into his Tyrannosaurus Rex alternate form.

Thought you might want to know."<<

And that was that. It had been fun while it lasted, but now reality had taken hold once more. Grimlock stopped firing at the faux vehicons and placed his weapon away before opening a comm line back to the Desert Warrior on the bridge of the Trion:

>>”Understood, Snarl."<<

“End simulation," Grimlock ordered aloud as the images slowly faded away, leaving only blackness all around him.

Hopefully.

“Excellent," was the lone word he would offer as the rest of the scene played out.

Sample:

“Nobody strikes Starscream down when he’s got his back turned…" The red and white Seeker commander growled as his fists clenched into tight balls. “Nobody!!" Raising both of his arms towards the golem that had struck him earlier, the Seeker commander unleashed a devastating barrage of white-hot trails of violet-colored hellfire from his null ray cannons. “Let that be a lesson to you… Pebbles."

“Hmph, better late than never to deliver a solid plan, Autobot." Starscream scoffed as he readjusted his altitude in preparation to make another strafing run at the fiendish golems. “Though the plan is sound, I must admit… Now would be my best chance of rallying most of the Decepticons into following some sort of order while Razorclaw blindly spearheads his front on the mountainside with his... Beastly aquintances…"

Swooping down and reverting back to his robot mode, Starscream hovered several meters above the ground and began peppering at the… well let’s just call them ‘feet’ of the elemental deities the fallen had spawned. A couple turned away from their targets and made a stumbling approach towards the hovering Seeker.

“That’s it… Just follow dear old Starscream towards your end you rocky freaks…"

With your new addition, the mods think you've got a very nice and satisfactory amount on your plate for a while. Enjoy it. ;)

Starscream's status will remain undecided for the time being.

>>"Psychout, where are you?! Sheesh, wake up from a little CR nap and the whole world's gone to bits. Landgrab and Crueljaw close by?"<<

>>”Honestly, you people,"<< Darkfire growled to the whole team over the comms, >>”No finesse. How you get by is beyond me."<<

Profile: Shockwave is often called a computer on legs. In reality, this is not far from the truth. Ruled only by numbers and logic, Shockwave is coldly calculating, and equally intelligent. The Decepticon's lead scientist and strategist, Shockwave thoroughly thinks through every possible outcome, and creates twice as many contingency plans. He can solve an equation in milliseconds and run a diagnostic on all of his subsystems, plan a battle strategy, and alphabetize it in the same amount of time.
All the while, he remains completely emotionless, keeping his voice at a stead monotone. Some even say it's a ruse to gain leadership of the Decepticons...But who knows, aside from him?

Abilities: Immense knowledge and calculating prowess, and equally impressive firepower and aim.

Weaknesses: Can often be tricked by having his own logic backfire on him, and is able to be outsmarted by exceedingly irregular and inconsistent plans. He will often stop to gloat as well, or as close to gloating as he can get. This leaves him vulnerable.

SAMPLE

Shockwave walked down the hallways of his tower, thinking.

A dark thinker walks
Unfeeling and cold and waiting
For plans to unfold

He steps into his laboratory, walking over to an energon stained table.

What he he has spilled
Is sacred and very rare
It is worse than blood

Walking over to a small box, he starts to record.

Alas he doesn't care
He never looks back or feels
Any regret

"Shockwave's Log. My latest subject has perished, but with the desired effect. Refining is expected to take 413 cycles. Plan will proceed accordingly. The energon has been corrupted enough to induce the condition required for our "beloved leader." Shockwave out.
He quietly moves over to a computer, and opens up a feed.
"Shockwave! Is my formula done yet?"
"Hail Lord Megatron. It will take 414 cycles to finish refining. Then you may consume it at will."
"Very well. Megatron, out."

He has honor but
Never loyalty to one
Except his logic

Ummmmmm, yeah, no, not happening. Denied.

Profile: Don't let Swindle's easygoing, good-natured personality fool you; within him beats the fuel pump of the most greed-driven street hustler. Without blinking an optical sensor, he'd trade Decepticon leader Megatron's right arm for a toaster if he needed the toaster badly enough (and if he could get the arm off of Megatron!). He is an opportunist without peer. He thrives on wheeling and dealing and seemingly is capable of procuring anything to fulfill the design and equipment needs of his armaments work. Although the weapons he builds are much appreciated, his fellow Combaticons know that Swindle's efforts on behalf of the Decepiicons are a mere sideline to his actual purpose: He is solely concerned with himself, and most of his entrepreneurial activities are for his own personal material advancement. If he thought it were in his interest to trade with the enemy, the Autobots, he probably would. He is truly a one-robot "black market."

Abilities: Swindle is almost unnaturally good at haggling. This plays to his interests, specifically the interests that have him benefiting from them.

Weaknesses: Swindle is always after more money, and his greed can get the better of him at times. Not only that, he isn't the best at turning, and often flips over at sharp turns. Despite having fairly good body armor, hitting his dashboard in vehicle mode can take him out of the game handily.

SAMPLE POST
Swindle walked into the building, flashing his usual, friendly grin. The Cybertronian Arms Expo was Swindle's element, full of opportunities for easy spare parts. Not only that, he had some...special wares that he sold to get some easy cash. He strolled up to a booth selling some power cores.

Bingo.

"Hello, there!", Said the shop owner. "What can I sell ya?" "Ha, ha. Well, I'm interested in the X-23 Fusion cores." said Swindle.
The shopkeep looked surprised for a moment, before leaning forwards. "You sure about that? If anyone in the Cybertronian Guard knows you have one..."
"Yeah, yeah. Off with my head. 20,000 Energon Chips."
"You've changed my mind, fine. But let's go higher. 35,000."
"30,000."
"35,000."
"20,000 and I'll toss in some Senate memory sticks."
The shopkeep looked shocked. "These can't be real."
"But they are, my friend. I can't fake this. Turn it on."
The owner tapped the slab and the Senate logo appeared, along with some files.
"Well, not sure how you got these, but okay then! Deal."

Swindle strolled out a few minutes later, clutching his prizes.
As he walked, some guards ran past and into the building.
Then, he heard..."HEY, THIS STUFF IS FAKE! WHERE DID THAT GLITCH GO?!"
Chuckling, he transformed and sped away into the Cybertronian night.

Profile: Venom will use his powers against even other Decepticons, to both manipulate and harm - because he is paranoid of everyone and everything, particularly his own Insecticons. If he wasn't so busy trying to unravel imaginary conspiracies against him, the ruthless and brilliant Venom could become so much more. Needless to say, the way his paranoia makes him to act, doesn't make him many friends, nor allies. Nor it leaves him time polish his plans to perfection, which infuriates the perfectionistic Venom to no degree, which serves only to fuel his deranged paranoia.

Abilities: Subject is incredibly intelligent and skilled. He is an expert in psychology and tactics, although he is less skilled in cognitive realm than Bombshell. In insect mode, he can fly at 15 mph for 300 miles. His stinger utilizes a laser cutter capable of punching through up to an inch of steel but can't produce enough heat to cut through some stronger metals. Once inserted, the stinger can pump any number of toxins into its target, from corrosive acids that can wreak havoc inside Transformer's innards to energon disruptives that can force another Transformer to fall into statis. His powers are perhaps even more sinister when used against organic life. He can produce and inject powerful neurotoxins that can be used to poison, paralyze, enhance or control organic life. In robot mode, he wield an electro-blaster rifle and an energo-scythe.

Weaknesses: Subject is physically weak and slow. His paranoia and inability to trust anyone, particularly his troops can work against him.

Down, down, down. They'd gone down, proceeding into Elba's mines, and cocooned themselves from the violence and chaos residing in the penitentiary above. Sequestered away from the threat of danger, offered a relative silence that permitted the mind to ponder with clarity rather than confusion—they had selected a suitable location to breed a multitude of schemes that would eventually lead to his destruction.

Why else hide here? Why gather in the gloomy mines as if holding a secret meeting? Venom still waited on the arrival of his invitation so he could join their little get together. Oh, that's right. They were unaware (because they must've been innocently unaware of the primary objective, the poor creatures...) Garrus-9 had been the main target, not the mines they had decided to make a club out of.

Following them had been simple. With the mayhem of the assault providing camouflage for his movements, Venom had basically walked in their footsteps: from the breach point the Steelhaven's crash had yielded to the industrial elevator that took him on an almost direct route to the mines, to their new playground. The trail of mutilated bodies might have helped, too.

Bodies that were smudged with scorched marks and missing limbs as if severed by an explosion. Venom knew Shrapnel's handiwork when he saw it. The Insecticon's electrical prowess was second to none.

The mines were cavernous, yawning tunnels composing the subterranean area that generally connected with each other. Piles of rock studded the ground while shadows abounded, clinging to every wall and corner, painting them an impenetrable black, a result of the scant few caged lumen globes illuminating the place.

Venom crouched in one such shadow, consumed by its darkness. His diaclones, replicas of the cicada-like alternate mode he transformed into, were motionless as if frozen. In the proximity of their master, they had also sought the refuge of shadows to cloak their numbers. So there Venom and his diaclones waited, spying on his fellow Insecticons and accumulating evidence that his subordinates were plotting against him.

Curious how there had been a lack of contact between him and them. As their commander, it was their duty to report to him. Venom shouldn't have had to check up on them like they were mischievous protoforms requiring a strict actuator.

Yes, he should have stayed with them during the initial stages of the assault. And yes, he should have ordered them to maintain regular contact with him. But he didn't.

Because the Garrus-9 attack gifted him with a marvellous opportunity to observe his subordinates. The frenzied activity allowed him to detach himself from his team so he could watch them. Given the savagery of the assault, it was feasible to believe he'd been separated and was consequently occupied elsewhere in the penitentiary trying to survive, with the comm-link jammed.

Not the tightest of alibis, perhaps, but neither that flimsy as well. No one could expose his lie. Certainly not a bunch of scheming wretches tending to their own business.

Spearing the Insecticons—Bombshell, Shrapnel and Kickback, particularly—with his gaze from his shadowy haven, Venom noted the cold greeting they proffered to Snaptrap before turning their backs on him and strolling away. Hi and bye. For a brief moment, Venom felt pride burn within him at their dismissal of the butcher of the bogs. The Insecticons and Seacons had never enjoyed a harmonious relationship, the aquatic beasts' disdain of the “bugs” visible when the two teams were around one another.

Then reality reasserted itself, and he contemplated his next move. He hadn't reported to Scorponok for some time, choosing to update his lord on his current status and progress once he'd uncovered the reasons as to his team's presence in the mines. With that information procured—and they would tell Venom—he would fabricate a report to Scorponok which, he hoped, portrayed the Insecticons as efficient and successful. Though they appeared treacherous to most, Venom could not abide the tag of incompetence being pinned to his unit.

There was also that transmission he'd received earlier. The one about Omega Supreme. Were he and his Insecticons tasked to engage the Omega Sentinel, he would comply but until that order came through, with his name included, he wasn't going anywhere. Let others sacrifice themselves. Venom had serious matters to address.

The Insecticons were heading towards him, would that they knew he was shrouded by shadow and watching them. Time to learn what their true purposes for hiding here were.

Emerging from the darkness, Venom strode over to his subordinates, his diaclones accompanying him at a mental command. He stood in their path as if by accident and feigned a puzzled expression, tilting his cranial unit to the side. The diaclones hissed and chittered, circling Venom as he regarded the Insecticons.

There you are! I've been looking all over for you.”

Venom didn't raise his voice. He spoke calmly, even cheerily, pretending to be relieved that he'd discovered his team. This performance was nothing more than an act, but one he had sustained for vorns. Whether they suspected something or not: it didn't matter. His core processor was a weapon he wielded just as skilfully as he did with his energo-scythe.

Venom gestured to the mines around him. “I see you lot have been busy. A pity none of you could've been at my side during the assault, but combat can be so...unpredictable. Who knows where you might end up, eh?” He chuckled. “So what do we have here? Bombshell? Apprise me of the situation, please.”

Alright, I think I'm willing to give you a crack at Swindle. You clearly get his nature as a character. That sample post concerns me a little though. Be sure to use traditional paragraph and sentence spacing conventions, otherwise it just makes it difficult to read, the same as if it was just one block of text. If you can do that, we'll call this app approved.

Nice sample. Been doing good overall. Enjoy your fourth. Your sample shows me that you obviously know what's up, so just be sure to account for any recently added material if you're going to use this post in the game. Enjoy!

Profile: Thundercracker sees the skies as HIS domain. He shows great contempt and even a begrudging pity of a sort of those that cannot fly. He constantly shows this contempt by showing off his flying prowess. Despite being one of Starscream's Seekers, he is a rarity of sorts. A rarity, in that he is not always ENTIRELY devoted to the Decepticon cause, especially where innocent fleshlings are concerned. The efforts and 'encouragement' from the other Decepticons generally keep him in line. But no matter what, he has lingering doubts...

Abilities: Thundercracker can achieve breathtaking speeds in Jet mode, often using this to create controlled, powerful, sonic bursts that are heard up to 200 miles away. He also possesses a small drone rocket that he can launch. Despite it's size, it has the concussive force of 3000 lbs. of TNT. His null rays have been reformatted to launch ceramic-coated projectiles filled with impact-sensitive flammable material. They are heat resistant JUST ENOUGH to stop them from exploding prematurely.

Weaknesses: Thundercracker is generally an effective soldier, but this is sometimes impeded by his doubts about the cause that he serves. This is enhanced when innocent humans are involved. However, his extreme fear of the Decepticon leader generally helps him see past these doubts.

Sample Post:

Thundercracker and Skywarp skimmed the blue surface of the ocean on their way to meet Starscream. As they rose again, Thundercracker opened a private comms channel to his purple brother. "Skywarp, I have a question." The other Seeker could almost be perceived as sighing. "What is it, Thundercracker?"
"What motivates you?" Thundercracker inquired.
"Oh great, more of this junk again. Listen, Thundercracker. What motivates me is simple. I don't like a lot of things, and I enjoy breaking those things. It's fun. Not only that, once Megatron conquers the universe, I want a share of the power."

Thundercracker considered his words. Power would be welcome, yes. And he supported the Decepticon ideals, didn't he? That was the question. Did he really? Did he want power, much less the power to destroy anything in his path? He wasn't sure. Especially the innocents. I mean, what did they ever--

"Did you hear me Thundercracker?" said Skywarp.
"What?"
"What motivates YOU?"
Thundercracker sighed. "You know, I'm not sure anymore."

Skywarp growled. "Okay, listen up TC. You're a Decepticon for a reason. You follow the orders given to you. You destroy Autobots. You burn down a planet. It doesn't matter. Just do what you're fragging told. Do I have to report you for potential treason?"
Thundercracker hastily replied, "No, no. It's fine. I don't know what I was thinking.
Or do I?

Thundercracker was recently snagged by another player. Be sure to poke through the character list and look for characters that are marked "available".

Motto: "<:: Cavolo. ::>"
Weapon: Nuclear Charged Fusion Cannon
Laserbeak

Allegiance: Decepticon
Sub-group: Cassetticon
Function: Interrogation
Alt. mode: microcassette (robot mode = ‘bird’)
Weapons: Two ruby crystal-powered laser cannons
Height: 10ft / 3m (wingspan)
Quote: “The only point I like in Autobots: melting point."

STRENGTH: 5
INTELLIGENCE: 6
DEXTERITY: 9
SPEED: 5
ENDURANCE: 5
COURAGE: 2
FIREPOWER: 8
ACCURACY: 7
MELEE: 4
TECH SKILL: 7
CHARISMA: 7
RANK: 6

Profile: For an undeniable coward like Laserbeak, interrogation is the ideal job. His enemies have already been beaten and restrained, so all he generally has to do is use his sadistic skills to wrest information out of the unfortunate captive. Laserbeak attempted to broker his skill at his function into favor in the eyes of Megatron, a ploy that woefully backfired. Megatron was so impressed by Laserbeak’s viciousness and efficiency that he started employing him for other, more dangerous uses like spying. This was a terrifying prospect for a Decepticon who prefers picking off wounded stragglers rather than actually fighting. Only Laserbeak’s loyalty to Megatron and the Decepticons keeps him from running scared… most of the time.

Abilities: Laserbeak is a skilled interrogator and adequate spy. He can fly at 250 MPH for up to 1,500 miles at a time. Subject is armed with two powerful ruby-crystal-powered laser cannons. The cannons are independent and can each track different targets.

Weaknesses: If threatened, Laserbeak will retreat to safety, and most Autobots are aware of this. Shortage of the crystals that power his weapons can send him into a panic.

Sample:

Laserbeak soared silently over the city of Kaon, keeping an optic on the streets below. Finally, he saw what he wanted. He dove in and landed on a building and peered into an allyway. There, a Decepticon was conversing with...Mirage!

"Hey, Mirage. I have the data right here."
"You sure you weren't followed? You know, because..."
"I'm positive! Old bird-bolts is with Soundwave."
Mirage looked up at the sound of a camera clicking.
"WHICH ONE?!"

Scrap. They saw him! They fired at him, sending him panicking. He lifted off, and sent a few blasts back at them before streaking away back to Megatron.

Days later, Ark Launch Site.

Laserbeak had been sent to scout out the Autobot's launch base before they attacked it. He had flown all the way from Polyhex, and was rather tired. So he had to hurry. He perched on a nearby antenna and scanned the complex. The scan was three-dimensional, and had markers showing where the Autobots were. Everything was...Wait. The yellow one and the scientist were gone. Those two almost never left, which meant..."SKRAAAAAAW!"

HE HAD BEEN SENT ON A FRAGGING WILD 'BOT CHASE! STUPID, STUPID STU--
A laserbolt knocked him from his peak, sending him crashing to the ground. He quickly righted himself and blasted away, trying not to crash in fear. He had wasted his power source! He needed to go faster than ever before, and he couldn't! Ooh, how he hated those Auto--"

"Laserbeak, return."
Laserbeak was pulled by an invisible force to a nearby light pylon.
He quickly transformed to datastick mode and landed inside the square light.
Soundwave! Finally, he could report to--
He then ran out of crystals, sending him into stasis.

Poor, angry, bird.

Looks workable. We'll call this app approved. Enjoy.

Laserbeak is currently on the battlefield chasing after Silverbolt.

Punch/Counterpunch

Allegiance: Autobot/Decepticon
Function: Secret Agent
Altmode: Cybertronian Hovercar
Weapons: Punch -- twin mortar launcher; Counterpunch -- photon cannon
Special Abilities: Unique triple-changer design (Autobot Punch, Decepticon Counterpunch, Cybertronian hovercar); flight (Counterpunch only); personality shell-matrix (essentially allows Punch and Counterpunch to register as two completely different mechs in terms of thought patterns, neural circuitry activity and overall personality)
Height: 26 ft. / 7.92 m
Quote: "In my business, there are no friends, only suspects."

Strength: 6
Intelligence: 9
Dexterity: 6
Speed: 6
Endurance: 6
Courage: 10
Firepower: 6
Accuracy: 7
Melee: 7
Tech Skill: 08
Charisma: 7
Rank: (7 on techspecs)

Profile: Punch is as cool-headed and well-adjusted as you will ever meet, although aloof and detached to a certain degree. However, the fact remains that he is, if anything, more observant and wary than many would suspect. Paranoid he may be that there may be traitors in the midst of the Autobots, but it's nowhere near Red Alert's levels of paranoia. He knows all too well just how much he has to lose by taking too many risks -- and the fact that he's willing to do it anyway is a testimony to his confidence in the rightness of his actions, his courage in the face of adversity, and his dedication and resolve to the Autobot cause.

As Counterpunch, on the other hand, he is ruthless, volatile and bad-tempered. An act, of course, but one that Counterpunch has proven capable of portraying quite well. There is a growing confidence in his 'act' as Counterpunch, because of the knowledge that he has been able to retain his Autobot sensibilities in the face of his constant exposure to the Decepticon camp. Still, however, there is the fear lurking in the back of his shared mind of the Counterpunch persona taking over and betraying the Autobots. That, however, is remedied by a personality shell-matrix that helps to ensure that there is enough difference between the Punch and Counterpunch personas to avoid some of the more dangerous pitfalls that could lead to his discovery and execution by the Decepticons.

Abilities: Punch / Counterpunch has slightly above average strength and great intelligence -- a skilled spy and infiltrator, as well as a capable actor and a canny judge of character. His ability to make rapid situational analyses is impressive, as is his knowledge of security and undercover tactics. As a Cybertronian hovercar, Punch / Counterpunch is capable of attaining velocities as high as 160 mph with a range of 1,200 miles. In Autobot mode, Punch utilizes a twin mortar launcher with a range of 9,000 feet; in Decepticon mode, Counterpunch wields a photon cannon designed to destroy the target's circuitry, tearing them apart internally. The Decepticon mode also affords Counterpunch with a personality shell-matrix which helps to dissociate the persona (including neural circuitry activity and thought patterns) from the Autobot mode and the Punch persona.

Robot/Altmode - Autobot: Punch's Autobot robot mode is distinctive. Slightly taller than an average Autobot he makes a point of hunching down, concious of his differences in all things, not just height. His torso is a deep yellow bearing an Autobot badge proudly in the centre with black appendages, wheels, helmet and fists, but his visored face has a weary look in its eyes. His detailing is blue, however these patches are kept few and far between due to his willingness to hide his alter ego even from most of the Autobots, and only the few visible altmode parts, an altmode he can rarely as an Autobot use for fear of being discovered, lest he show any hint of his life as a doublespy.
His Autobot-version altmode of a Cybertronian hovercar is sleek, blue in colour but lacks any kind of faction identification. Designed to look basic, simple and functional, Punch tries to avoid using it as much as possible due to its obvious similarity to his Decepticon counterparts far flashier but still identical version.

Robot/Altmode - Decepticon Disguise: Counterpunch's robot mode is as similar to Punch as Drag Strip is to Mirage, or Breakdown is to Sideswipe. Shining blue from face to foot, with a black helmet and upper legs, Counterpunch just exudes arrogance and insecurity. His paintwork is polished to a gleam at all times and constantly inspected in any reflective surface, partly to keep up his Decepticon persona's appearance and partly to ensure that there is absolutely no chance of his Autobot side being discovered by accident. His face is covered by a blast shield over the lower half and a visor over the top, an attempt to ensure no emotion can betray him, and he utilises various hydraulic techniques to attempt to appear even taller when in this disguise.
Counterpunch's Decepticon altmode follows the styling of his robot mode, the same blue in colour but a massive vulgar spoiler protrudes out the back, the arches over his repulsors have been customised and widened to a ridiculous degree, his windows are blacked-out, his lights are amplified and shine with a blue-neon tint, the underside of the car has strip lighting and the exhaust cans on the back could shatter a window from a mile away - this altmode screams vanity and every effort imaginable has been made ensure that the same vehicle mode as possessed by Punch persona looks as different as you can imagine to when he is undercover. (Not to mention the stereo...)

Weaknesses: The fear of the Counterpunch persona becoming too comfortable as a Decepticon spy and winding up taking full control of the shared body with the Punch persona is a very real possibility that Punch must always take into account. The personality shell-matrix helps to mitigate that somewhat, but deep down, Punch still remains concerned that the Counterpunch persona may find a way to circumvent the personality shell-matrix (or worse, the personality shell-matrix be damaged and rendered inoperable for any appreciable length of time), and thereby allow Counterpunch to wrest full control of their shared mind, in turn sowing untold chaos and disaster for the Autobots.

Sample Post:
"GET OUT OF MY WAY!!!" Counterpunch yelled as he put his foot to the chestplate of the sentry outside the Kaon jail cell and shoved viciously. "I do not need your permission to visit MY captee!" The stunned sentry wasn't paid enough to stand in the way of crazy types like Counterpunch, and Punch knew it. In no hurry to get back up, he just waved the short tempered 'con in, still stunned from the blow. "You never saw me, got that??!" Using his Photon cannon to emphasise the point, he kicked dirt at the sentry and strode off into the jail complex laughing.

He checked to see that the coast was clear and he was safe from the cameras, and switched to his Autobot mode. It had been a while since he needed to change, but this was unavoidable. Disabling the cameras in Gamma-wing is an easy enough task, and I can blame it on this sentry's incompeten... No, no. That's Counterpunch talking - that is not me. I will do this properly so no one gets hurt, I do enough damage as my alter ego as it is. He thought back to the sentry he had just abused, and felt a pang of guilt that he had actually quite enjoyed it. That guard is going to get disassembled after this regardless, I'd be doing him a favour if just killed... No! That's not ME! He opened up the prisoner weapons locker and pulled out a familiar gun, fiddled with its settings, checked the coast was still clear and used it to destroy the security system, taking most of the lights with it. Perfect, now lets go and see what state he is in...

Unable to assume his identifiable altmode as even this prisoner - one of his oldest friends - didn't know who both sides of him were, he retained his Autobot robot form and sprinted down the corridor to cell G-477 and entered the code he had stolen weeks ago from a drunken Seeker over some spiked energon ale. To his huge relief, it worked and a battered mech lay half dead in the far corner.

"Hound, its me, Punch. HOUND! Come on, wake up, you have to get out of here!" He threw a handful of fast-charge energon cubes to his friend who just stared unbelievingly at his saviour. Hound tried to mumble a few words of thanks but gave up and quickly drank the energon. "...woah woah, careful, you're still weak. Shush! Don't worry about how I got here, just take your rifle and this keycard, go two floors down to the lowest security wing. Counterpunch is on shift so you should easily defeat him, use the door on the east side. Its unguarded and if you can assume altmode then you should easily get away. Hurry!! You only have another 36.5 minutes before they restore the power. Ill go on ahead and meet you at Outpost Epsilon-6 tonight. NOW GO!!"

He gave Hound a few shoves to get him moving and made sure he was on his way then sprinted off ahead of him, re-assuming his Decepticon persona once he was far enough away. Even if Hound was up to full speed, Punch was still faster and he had more than enough time to overpower the door sentries, take their place and allow Hound to defeat his alter ego. He knew it was going to hurt, but it had to be done, he couldn't let Hound be executed... but what if I was to actually prevent Hound from escaping... I'd be a hero, maybe even able to get close to command and then who knows what information I would be able to get for the Autobots, but... is that REALLY an acceptable risk..?

Man, who knew the offspring of Tracks, Sunny and Blaster could be so, so tormented! HA! Approved. Have fun with him...but not too much.

Reapplying for this dude, as he's listed as an NPC on MSB's roster.

Profile:
>>Retrieving Database log for subject: Cloudbreaker. Audio file recorded by designate: Warwolf<<

Cloudbreaker? Yeah I could ramble on and on about our space-faring adventures about when we both used to work alongside- Well, let’s just not mention his name for the time being, shall we? Anyways, when you boil it all down, CB is a thief, and a damn good one at that. His fingers are as slick and slippery as oil. He’s managed to yank away the weapons or glasses of Engex without us even knowing he was in the room.

Now I know what you’re thinking… “This guy is probably some freak who sulks in the shadows and waits for the opportunity to make his steal”, right? Well you’re completely wrong. Nah, Cloudbreaker lives to party. When’s he’s not ramming himself into other aerial fighters, or pickpocketing the nearest wallet for some shanix, the guy can be found in the nearest pub or bar drinking himself into stasis. And he’ll be buying rounds with your chips if you aren’t too careful.

Why bring him in? Well, besides needing another ‘Con to fill the ranks, he’s got a spark of gold. (Figuratively speaking…) His manner of theft isn’t what you’d expect it to be. He doesn’t steal things for his own personal gain, he steals from everyone for everyone. Before he became a Renegade, the band of pirates we were a part of, he told me he was sick of the Senate’s unfair distribution of wealth and supplies, said he had to sit back and watch as his friends died in the streets because the disposable class wasn’t receiving enough Energon to sustain them. He told me he did what he had to help himself and the others who were living amongst the slums of the Cybertronian undergrounds. He and his team were all about to make their latest hit on a supply ship that was heading out to Luna 2, but he never expected to have been intersected by the Renegades. The rest is just history I guess…

Abilities:
Cloudbreaker is armed with two revolver-like pistols that fire electro-shells at his targets. He can adjust the power intensity of each round with settings that can either stun and disable his foes by shutting down primary motor functions, or completely frying the target’s main systems. His pistols can also convert to fire intensified laser bursts should he run low on his limited electro-shells.

Similar to the seeker known as Ramjet, Cloudbreaker possesses a nearly-indestructible nosecone which he has been known to utilize in directly ramming into other aerial combatants, though without the foolish bravado of said seeker.

Cloudbreaker is also equipped with what he considers his “signature surprise pack”; A case of tricks and gadgets he’s either acquired or manufactured himself. He has been known to carry various sorts of items, including explosives, utility gadgets, weaponized party tricks, to even his own stash of Energon.

Weaknesses:
Cloudbreaker has trouble diverting his optics away from things he deems is necessary to share amongst his fellow Decepticons and will make it a personal goal to take it from whoever possesses it unless someone can convince him otherwise. Cloudbreaker also has a taste for the finer variants of Energon and requires higher grades of the Cybertronian life-fuel, usually refusing to even sip the synthetic brands.

The wings of his jet mode were constructed with a lighter alloy of metal to allow his nosecone to be reinforced without hindering his speed, making his wings highly fragile when in combat. Cloudbreaker is fairly weak in robot mode and must rely solely on his Energon club when he gets close to his enemies, which is often given his habit for stealing.
