Motto: "i know kung fu. -Keanu Reeves"
Weapon: Dark Saber Sword
Bonecrusher

Allegiance: Decepticon
Function: Demolitions
Alt. mode: Caterpillar D9T
Weapons: Concussion-bomb launcher, laser pistol
Height: 26 ft / 7.92 m
Quote: "Hit it till it stands no taller than the dust."

Strength: 09
Intelligence: 03
Dexterity: 06
Speed: 02
Endurance: 09
Courage: 08
Firepower: 06
Accuracy: 06
Melee: 07
Tech Skill: 05
Charisma: 05
Rank: 04

Profile: A rubble-strewn wasteland is Bonecrusher's idea of a beautiful landscape. Rare is the edifice that he feels is better off left standing. For him, demolition is not merely a job - it is a performance. He loves to show off for his comrades. And Megatron realizes that the fear and terror sowed by this Constructicon's wild ways are bonus by-products that can only help the Decepticon conquest of Earth's resources. Bonecrusher's attitude about the world around him can best be summed up by his personal credo: "Everything is dust - or it will be when I get through with it!"

Abilities: In vehicular mode, Bonecrusher can exert a force of over 800,000 pounds per square inch at a speed of 30 mph, enough to knock down all but the most heavily reinforced structures. His thick titanium-steel hide makes him virtually invulnerable to anything that might collapse upon him as a result of one of his charges. He can use a short-range concussion bomb launcher to aid his demolitions. In robot mode he carries a laser pistol.

Weaknesses: Bonecrusher's eagerness to wreak destruction if let unchecked, often results in the loss of structures that had potential value for the Decepticons. Although he is rarely harmed by the collapse of a building on him, he is sometimes buried and finds it difficult to free himself at those times.

SAMPLE POST

"DRAT!" shouted Bonecrusher "I was made to crush BONES, not BOULDERS!"

"Oh don’t worry buddy." said Hook, as they stood underground in a tunnel that Bonecrusher had been digging for 5 cycles.

"Don’t worry?!" said Bonecrusher, "we have every right to worry! We need to get the heck through, and under Autobot headquarters, and plant the bomb while they are gone!"

"if you use your intellect to come up with a plan other than being stupid, there is no worry!" said Hook.

"Stop messing around Hook and give me back my concussion bomb launcher!" shouted Bonecrusher, "if we are gonna get through, we gotta blow some scrap up!"

"I wouldn’t suggest that," says Hook, "that is quite dangerous, and could potentially get us buried down here, just waiting for the Autobots to dig us out."

"Nonsense!" scoffed Bonecrusher, "we have a giant boulder in the way, and the only way to destroy it, is to bomb the scrap out of it!"

"No Bonecrusher!" shouted Hook, "your crude ways are gonna get us killed!"

(And this is why you don’t send Hook and Bonecrusher on the same mission by themselves.)

Profile: When Misfire shoots, his fellow Decepticons run for cover. Misfire has truly terrible aim, but he says he's improving. Regrettably, none of his fellow Decepticons share his confidence. Indeed, it is said Misfire only graduated from the Decepticon military academy because of the need for new troops. Megatron, however, sees some value in Misfire, deeming his tendency to fire blindly a useful asset when Decepticon forces are limited. To best make use of this talent, Misfire is usually assigned to smaller squads and low level field commanders. Despite his abysmal aim, Misfire is fairly charismatic and friendly, and gets along well with his Decepticon comrades.

Abilities: Misfire can endure many attacks thanks to the strength of his vehicle's frame and design. Despite his bulk, Misfire is very fast, reaching speeds of Mach 2.1 in vehicle mode, and is very capable of maintaining formation and engaging enemies in ship to ship combat. He excels at squad tactics and unit cohesion, and is easily able to adapt new strategies or maintain battle patterns... at least as long as he has a few comrades left to support him.

Weaknesses: Misfire's aim is his greatest weakness, as even targets at point blank range seem capable of eluding his particle shots. In addition to his poor targeting, Misfire is a bit cowardly and is quick to retreat when left unsupported.

Sample Post:

The Decpticon Military Academy was grueling, harsh. It was so bad that some who went in, never came out. However, it produced the best warriors and marksmen, as the Great Megatron claimed.

Looking at the purple and red bot training as an interceptor proved the latter statement false and null. His fellow cadets were in fear of him. However, he wasn't ruthless or cruel. He couldn't hit a target to save his life.

The bot's original name was unknown for some reason. So until he graduated, he went by the nickname "Aimless", for obvious reasons. So it was of no surprise to him that when the Autobots attacked the Academy, he wasn't called in to defend it.

So the bot sat in his quarters, the sounds of battle in his auditory senses. He knew that his fellow Deceptions would hold then off. The Autobots were too weak.

His room shook from an explosion. The Autobots were getting closer! He could hear the gunfire. The shouts of the fallen Deceptions. So, the bit ran out, in the opposite direction, to the armory.

He saw a machine gun. The bot grabbed it and looked out to see at least a dozen Cybertronians heading his direction. He just knew it was the Autobots! He closed his optics and squeezed the trigger, hoping that he'd hit his targets....

He opened his optics to see all twelve of the bots dead. He got them...but in closer inspection saw that they all had :CON: on them. Another explosion rocked the base. He saw more bots heading toward him.

This time, the bot opened fire, only to miss every shot. Seeing the Autobots get closer, he ran, dropping the gun. He escaped the building, transformed and flew off. A few minutes later, the whole Academy went up.

Without anymore classes to attend, the bot got to graduate, even though it was only because the Academy blew up. Later, an impromptu graduation ceremony was held, and the bot got his name, Misfire.

Misfire approved. He should be back at the Thanatos recuperating with the other 'Cons. Have fun!

Solid first pick and solid sample post to go with it. Gonna go ahead and call this approved. This character already has a profile posted, so if you just want to go add a reply to the "roll call" thread listing your approved character, you can feel free to start with him when you wish. He's aboard the Thanatos with the other Constructicons. Have fun!

Ok cool! I didn't think I would get accepted! I am new to RPG so he's my first character. If I make a mistake, just know that I'm still learning! ;) I have a love for the Contructicons, and Bonecrusher is one of my favorites.

Astrotrain

Name: Astrotrain
Allegiance: Decepticon
Sub-group: TripleChanger
Function: Military Transport
Alt. mode: U.S. NASA Space Shuttle/ General Electric U28C diesel-electric six-axle locomotive
Weapons: Ionic Displacer Rifle (deployable in all modes), small bombs (deployable in shuttle mode)
Height: 40ft / 12.20m
Quote: “In confusion, there's opportunity."

Strength: 09
Intelligence: 07
Dexterity: 06

Endurance: 08
Courage: 07
Firepower: 07
Accuracy: 07
Melee: 07
Tech Skill: 06
Charisma: 07
Rank: 06

Profile: Astrotrain revels in the confusion he is able to cause as a TripleChanger. Flashing between robot, locomotive and space shuttle modes almost instantaneously, he is an expert at picking out the moment of utter perplexity in his opponent’s eyes. It’s at that moment that Astrotrain strikes without mercy. The fact that Astrotrain’s prey doesn’t have any idea what hit them is particularly pleasing to the murderous Decepticon. The idea that his victim’s last thoughts were a tangle of feat and panic keeps Astrotrain happy when performing his more mundane tasks, such as transport between battles.

Abilities: As a TripleChanger, Astrotrain is able to change between three alternate modes at almost twice the speed of an average Transformer. As a space shuttle, Astrotrain can achieve, under his own power, planetary orbit, where he can attain a maximum speed of more than 20,000 mph. He can launch weapons and satellites while in orbit, and carry other cargo as well. When traveling through space he can achieve speeds greater than 50,000 mph and, with sufficient energon, is capable of interstellar flight. As a train, his top speed on rail is 400 mph and he has a range of 2700 miles. In robot mode he has great strength and carries a powerful ionic displacer rifle, which destroys by disrupting molecular bonds in metal alloys with its beam.

Weaknesses: Astrotrain is prone to mechanical breakdowns as a train in his wheel assemblies. As a space shuttle his communications systems often fail him while re-entering the atmosphere.

Sample Post: "20, 19, 18, 17..." went the countdown for liftoff, of the perfect Shuttle to reach Mars. "This will be fun," chuckled Astrotrain, "I've never actually fooled humans into thinking I am one of their Shuttles before."

Astrotrain flashed back to when he took the real Shuttle, scanned it, and took the precious piece of technology back to Megatron.

"It worked out perfectly that it was a purple shuttle!" giggled Astrotrain, waiting in anticipation.

The humans were doing what they had long waited for, to send people to Mars, and make a giant leap for mankind.

"Mars is where a lot of Cybertronian treasures are. My mission, is to kill them, so they don't get to Mars." said Astrotrain, reminding himself of what Megatron told him to do.

Just then, Autobots surrounded the place, and shouted at the humans, "Danger! Astrotrain is going to kill you! Don't lift off! Get out of there!"

Astrotrain transformed into robot mode, crushing and killing all of the humans inside of him. "I KILL WHO I WANT TO KILL!" shouted Astrotrain, while guns blazing. "NO-ONE STOPS ASTROTRAIN!"

Autobots and humans were dying under Astrotrain's feet, guns were blazing, a city wide disaster, all because of Astrotrain.

Fear Astrotrain, or he WILL kill you.

Slayrazor
(custom character)

Allegiance: Decepticon
Function: Spy/Assassin
Alt. mode: Dodge Viper
Weapons: one Sniper rifle, one machete, two concealed daggers, one pistol, smoke grenades.
Height: 25 ft
Quote: "Hate is relative, but truth is not"

Strength:
6
Intelligence: 8
Dexterity: 8
Speed: 7
Endurance: 5
Courage: 4
Firepower: 6
Accuracy: 9
Melee: 6
Tech Skill: 6
Charisma: 3
Rank: (to be chosen by staff)

Profile: Slayrazor, once known as Stingrazor, trusts no-one, even the Decepticons who he is part of. Vorns ago, he was a happy Autobot, and was partnered with his friend Heatrazor. When his best friend Heatrazor, was murdered by an Autobot during a battle. The rest of the Autobots thought it was friendly fire, Slayrazor saw first hand what happened though. Slayrazor left the the Autobots, full of hate, and full of bloodlust.

Slayrazor still does not know why his best friend was killed by an Autobot, but one thing is for certain, Slayazor hates any and all Autobots.

Slayrazor was not always a Decepticon after he left the Autobots. After picking his new look, to not be recognisable by anyone as "Stingrazor", he was not visibly an Autobot. Slayrazor spent those days assassinating Autobots, till he got called by the Decepticons. They knew he was amazing at what he did, but they didn't know that he didn't like to follow the rules. Though he wears a Decepticon symbol, he doesn't consider himself part of anyone's team, he only wears it as part of the deal. If he is loyal to Galvatron, he gets his much needed energon.

Slayrazor does better alone though, ever since he joined the Decepticons, he has made many unwise mistakes in combat. The presence of other Decepticons on his intercom makes him feel he has to prove himself, and do something insane, only to get himself crawling out of the hands of death.

He was a bright yellow jet before, now he remains a black and purple Muscle-car. He was once a happy Autobot, who couldn't stand to pull the trigger, now he is an assassin seeking sparks.

Slayrazor knows first hand what hate can do to a sentient being, and he wears the wounds of his past with rage, and pride. And to anyone who he hates, a very deadly pride.

Abilities:

Smoke Grinades: Slayrazor is a master of stealth, so he has smoke grenades. He used them when he is is danger or is a tight situation.

Greater Radar capability:
Whether he is running through the smoke of his smoke grenades, or his optics fail him, his amazing Sonar ability enables his to use sound to see objects around him.

Weaknesses:
Slayrazor, has a very low charisma, he is a friend of no-one. He, although very intelligent, sometimes lets his anger, or his desire to impress, get the best of him, which means sometimes he makes horrible mistakes.

Sample Post:
"Time to send some sparks to the allspark." said Slayrazor, as he was laying on a cliff at night, with his sniper rifle pointing at the unsuspecting Autobot leader, Rodimus Prime. "Revenge is sweet," whispered Slayrazor, "sweet sweet revenge."

Galvatron knew that Slayrazor was the perfect bot to kill Rodimus Prime. The Autobots where guarding a very special device, something Galvatron coveted.

"I love Autobots," said Slayrazor, "I love how they scream when I rip bullets through them, the way they gasp for life when I stab my machete into their sparks, oh how I love Autobots."

Slayrazor was considered a psychopath by both Autobots and Decepticons alike, but Galvatron, loved his madness, and how Slayrazor was easily manipulated, when Galvatron promises revenge.

"Rodimus is on his way outside of the boarder, where there are no Autobots gaurding him, now is my chance to go for the kill." observed Slayrazor, as he pointed his sniper rifle at Rodimus's head.

His hands shaking, Slayrazor about to pull the trigger, stopped. "Wait, something is wrong," said Slayrazor, "they seem to be expecting an attack."

Slayrazor quietly called Cyclonus via intercom, "something is wrong, I feel they know I'm here." "So something unexpected then." said Cyclonus.

Slayrazor thought for a bit, then said to Cyclonus, "I know, I'll call in an air strike, and while they are distracted with that, I'll shoot Rodimus." "That sounds like a good idea to me," said Cyclonus, "just be careful not to kill yourself by doing something insane."

Slayrazor called in the air strike, and the Autobots saw it coming, and got distracted just like he anticipated. "I am not satisfied with sniping the spawn of a glitch, I'm gonna go in for the kill, personally." said Slayrazor.

Then, Slayrazor headed down the mountain, and the Autobots saw him. "It's time to have some fun" said Slayrazor.

Slayrazor, the master of stealth, dropped a smoke grenade. He headed through the smoke, using his special sonar/radar ability to seek out exactly where Rodimus was. Then, when he was behind Rodimus, he stabbed Rodimus in the back. Rodimus turned around, bleeding energon, and shot Slayrazor in the chest. Rodimus crawled away, as Slayrazor painfully got up, wounded deeply, and flew towards the mountains. He barely flew away, while shooting at the Autobots below with his pistols. Slayrazor, had once again, let his rage get the best of him.

Skystalker

Allegiance: Decepticon

Profile: Obsessed with power, aquiring it, keeping it, and using it to tyrannize all who oppose him. Lives for the day when the Decepticons will rule the universe under HIS command. He is the meanest fighter to ever raid an enemy outpost.

Skystalker’s last outpost, the starbase Overpower, was an outpost in the Nilax system. He ruled the system with a metal fist with the help of his fleet led by his faithful if a bit crazy lieutenant Skyhopper over a million years ago. He enjoyed this position which allowed him to gather supplies for the bigger Decepticon war machine. This had lasted for a couple of decades until the Autobot space commander Metalhawk decided to help liberate the system from Con control. The battle was intense and both sides taking major casualties. In an attempt to destroy Metalhawk, Skystalker self-destruct the base. To his disappointment, Metalhawk was able to escape in time and to take Skystalker and Skyhopper prisoner to Garrus-9.

Abilities: Skystalker carries a laser rifle with him but has intimate knowledge of a large range of weaponry especially for large bases or crafts. He is able to travel 200mph in car mode.

Weaknesses: His obsession for power can blind him to sometimes to major threats. He will also backstab almost anyone if he can to gain more power.

Skyhopper

Allegiance: Decepticon
Sub-group: None
Function: fleet commander
Alternate Modes: Cybertronian tetra jet
Weapons: laser rifle
Special Abilities: none
Height: 20ft/ 0m

Accuracy: 6
Melee: 4
Tech Skill: 9
Charisma: 4

Profile: Skyhopper likes blowing things up in any way possible. Some wonder if all of these explosions have knocked a few wires loose in his cranium. One could say he is almost addicted to explosions. He is a loyal subject to Skystalker and former commander of the small pirate fleet in the Nilax. His main mission was to collect any bounties and duties owed to Skystalker from the planets in the system. When they refused, Skystalker gladly let Skyhopper make an example by letting him blow up something important but not economically valuable.

Abilities: He can reach mach 1 in the atmosphere. His technical expertise is in demolition. He is so good he can make almost anything into a bomb if he can find a way for it to explode. At the same time he could technically defuse a bomb but more than likely he’ll find another use for it. Like his commander, Skyhopper carries a personal laser rifle.

Weaknesses: His desire to see things explode has caught him in the blast radius or in the way of debris a few too many times. This is how it got started about his processor wires being a bit mixed up. His sole loyalty to Skystalker is so strong that he sometimes ignores a higher ranking commander unless Skystalker agrees with the idea or gives the order himself.

Metalhawk

Allegiance: Autobot
Sub-group: None
Function: space fleet commander
Alternate Modes: SF jet

Profile: Slayrazor, once known as Stingrazor, trusts no-one. Vorns ago, he was a happy Autobot, and was part of a Duobot team. When his best friend, the other member of his Duobot team, was killed by an Autobot. He left the the Autobots, full of hate, and full of bloodlust.

Slayrazor still does not know why his best friend was killed by an Autobot, but one thing is for certain, Slayazor hates everyone.

He was a bright orange jet before, now he remains a black and purple Muscle-car.

Abilities:

-Robot mode flight ability.
-He has smoke grenades for stealth.
-Radar/Sonar

Weaknesses:
Slayrazor, has a very low charisma, he is a friend of no-one. He, although very intelligent, sometimes lets his anger get the best of him, which means sometimes he makes horrible mistakes.

Note: This application may be subject to change, by Administrators and RPG Moderators. Final version of post will be posted under the Custom Decepticons character list. Application and drawing by me.

This is a pretty good first attempt at a fanmade, but there are areas that need to be worked on before we can move forward with this.

Primarily, your profile section needs the most work. First off, there was only one group of Duobots that I’m aware of and they were Shock and Ore from the Lost Light. I don’t think there were any others so your character being a former Duobot will have to be changed to avoid any confusion with them. You can still have Slayrazor lose a best friend and partner just leave out the Duobot designation. He didn’t combine with his partner nor did he look like him, at least you don’t say either of those things, so just calling them partners instead of Duobots would be better.

Next, you need to flesh out his history more. You say he used to be an Autobot and then left because his friend was killed by another Autobot, but you don’t know why? Well, I would imagine there’d be a reason. Autobots don’t just go around killing each other on purpose. Was it friendly fire during a battle, which to me is the most likely reason? And if it was intentional, did the ‘bot in question get punished and sent away to Garrus-9 prison? I don’t see the Autobots letting one of their own get away with murder.

Maybe Slayrazor thought it was intentional on the battlefield but the other Autobots concluded it was friendly fire and not intentional. Thus, Slayrazor left because he didn't agree with those findings and felt that the killer got away with it. That would make the most sense in my opinion.

Also, if Slayrazor hates everyone, why join the Decepticons? Wouldn’t he still hate them or were they the only viable option? I’m assuming he’s a con now since that’s what you have him labeled as at the top of your app. However, you never even mention the Decepticons in the profile, itself. When and how did Slayrazor join the cons? Did they just let him join or did he have to prove himself worthy? I would think the cons would be suspicious of any former Bot suddenly wanting to join their ranks. Furthermore, once he became a Con, how did his comrades treat him? Since he used to be a bot, is he treated differently from other Cons? Do they trust him? These are all aspects of his history that should be addressed to make him more interesting.

Next, write out the abilities section in paragraph form describing each ability instead of just listing them as bullet points. Also, you should include all of the weapons you mentioned at the top of your profile like the sniper rifle, pistol, daggers and machete and what they can do. Robot mode flight ability is something all cons have so you don't have to mention that. Smokes bombs could be considered a weapon, as well, so it should be listed at the top with the rest of the weapons as well as in the abilities section.

Radar and sonar are considered special abilities which has a stat penalty of 2 points each. All TFs have limited radar, so a stat penalty only applies to long range radar. You need to specify which type of radar your character has. And being that he's not an under water character, I don't see the need for sonar. Radar is good enough. Technically, you're at 68 total stat points now, so I think you may have already deducted two points for the radar. Let me know if that's the case.

Now, on to your sample post. For starters, you don’t put dialogue in italics. Just write it normally inside quotation marks like this: “Dialogue written here.” Italics is used mostly to indicate a character’s internal thoughts and not something spoken aloud and is written without quotes like this: Thoughts written here. See what I mean?

Now italics can also be used when characters talk to each other over a private comm line or radio link and are written like this: >>”Private communication here”<<. If you have any questions regarding this just PM me.

Otherwise, your sample is not bad. Just bare in mind that in our game there is no Galvatron yet nor is there a Rodimus Prime. He’s currently still Hot Rod. Also, I doubt Cyclonus would say to be careful to any Con. I don’t think he cares one way or another if your fanmade lives or dies, but that’s a minor quibble since Cyclonus is not your character anyway. Just remember that within the game you only write for your character and not others. It’s fine in the sample post, just not in the game, itself. :)

One last thing, please don't post huge pics in the forums. It takes up a lot of space and can slow the loading of the page. Just provide a link to any pics of your character you want to include just like you did with the Dodge Viper (which by the way is not a muscle car, it's a sports car). Thanks.

Anyway, like I said at the beginning, not a bad first attempt. Just make the changes I suggested and repost your app and we’ll have another look at it.

Profile: Metalhawk is one of the best space admirals the Autobots have. He graduated with top honors like his close friend Countdown.
After graduation Metalhawk caught an inspirational speech given by Optimus Prime in a recruiting drive against the new insurgence called the Decepticons. It made Metalhawk curious as to why they would fight against fellow Cybertronians. After being on the outskirts of an attack by the Decepticons and seeing how they butchered others, Metalhawk understood what the Prime was fighting against. He understood the reasoning behind Megatron’s upheaval but couldn’t accept how his new army was doing things.

Once Metalhawk joined the Autobots, he became a part of the few aerial squadrons they had. After a couple of battles against the Seekers, Metalhawk started to stand out not just for his courage but leadership ability. He was willing to take risk to save a life of fellow Cybertronians and also to knock out a couple of Seekers out of the air. Soon he ended up leading his own small squadron. As much as he enjoyed serving the Autobots on Cybertron, he still longed for outer space. After chatting with Prime, it was agreed that Metalhawk would join Betatron on a deep space emissary mission to reach out to new races for peaceful trade negotiations. At long last his desire to be out in space was going to be fulfilled.

The peaceful missions soon became more about protecting other worlds from the influence and ambition of the Decepticons. As with Cybertron, he witnessed the Cons taking and destroying instead of asking and trading to get what they wanted from the local civilizations. This continued to anger Metalhawk and began to feel guilty about bringing their war to other planets. Betatron agreed with his second officer and from that point on they were on more of a defensive mission but still tried to connect with willing planets and races.

One battle was against three medium Con cruisers against the lone Autobot frigate commanded by Betatron. In this battle at Fina 3 it took creativity to best the three Con ships. Metalhawk came up with the idea by bringing the fight into an asteroid belt. The Autobot frigate Neximus used the distorting abilities the asteroids to screw up their sensors. This also messed up the Autobots sensors but unlike the Cons, they only had one ship to deal with instead of three. With the sensors gone, the only thing they could rely on was visual which was also difficult with all of the debris floating around. With careful shots, the Autobots were able to trick the Cons into destroying each other with little use of their own ammunition.

Later on Betatron was promoted to commodore and had two ships added to his current one. The next mission was to assist a planet who recently became an Autobot ally. They were under siege by a large Decepticon gun ship. Metalhawk led a team down to the planet to rescue the planet’s leadership while Betatron took on the gun ship. Metalhawk was successful in the rescue attempt while Betatron was able to disable the weapons on the gun ship but not able to capture it before it jumped to hyper speed. This success gave Metalhawk the command of the Neximus.

A few years later after Betatron slowly grew the fleet; they met up against the Third Space Fleet of the Cons. This was a huge battle with high casualties on all sides. There was no clear winner even if both sides claimed it as their own. Betatron and his flagship were lost. This allowed Metalhawk to step to be the admiral of the rebuilding Autobot fleet but he always felt bad on how he got the position.

One of his greatest victories but a costly one was against Skystalker and his lieutenant Skyhopper. He was led to believe there were only five to ten ships with the biggest being a medium cruiser type. As it turned out, there were twenty ships with two heavy cruisers. Metalhawk had a fleet of 15 ships with one being a battle cruiser class. Skystalker’s base was also heavily fortified which was the opposite of what Metalhawk was told. There were many casualties on both sides. The Autobots did eventually gain the upper hand forcing Skystalker to self- destruct his base in hopes of wiping out the rest of the Autobot forces. It did leave the battle cruiser in critical condition but even with the losses Metalhawk captured Skystalker and Skyhopper transporting them to Garrus-9 after a long repair time.

Abilities: Metalhawk can reach gravitational escape velocity. His jet rifle can put a two foot wide hole through almost anything. The titanium saber is able to cut through three feet thick steal with ease.

Weaknesses: There is no real known weakness for him unless it is his desire for peace. His compassion can lead to some very hard decisions.

As promised a more flushed out profile\history for the character. I'm hoping it is vague enough to not step on anything.

Profile: Ruthless. Unforgiving. Unyielding. Cruel. Savage. Synapse is none of these. What he is, however, is a very talented psychotherapist whose compassion is a rather rare and unique trait amongst Decepticons. He is an open minded and understanding listener who at least tries to reach some of the most unapproachable Decepticons. Very aware and self-aware of the monstrosities caused by the Decepticon armada in their galactic civil war, Synapse tries to preserve the decency in Decepticons. War has made monsters of many of them, and it’s his job to turn them back into people. Synapse always has his door open for anyone seeking help. Though it’s not too often that anyone comes by to see him. Willingly, anyway. He’s also a bit accident prone for whatever reason, and winds up in the medical bay more often than not. Also a bit of a studious sort, Synapse is always reading or studying in his field or others to expand the breadth of his knowledge.

Prior to the Great War, full scale re-engineering was a service only available to the elite Cybertronian classes. As such, the general masses were fixed in their alt-modes and unable to change them. At this time, Relinquishment Clinics were run by commercial enterprises and charged fees as high as 5,000 shanix to make use of a patented Sparkswap Technology to transfer a spark into a vacant bodyshell, using spark extraction equipment and whiteout vacuums. These bodyshells were from donors which allowed clients to experience life in a completely different alt-mode. Synapse worked at one of these clinics under a different name and alternate mode.

Formerly known as Mortican, his function at the clinic was to perform the spark extraction. His alternate mode had the unique capacity of being a spark extractor, and, with it, he could extract sparks fairly painlessly, even able to preserve sparks in his body for a short period until they entered a whiteout vacuum. Unfortunately, the side effect of being a literal soul sucker was to be ostracized socially by many who feared his natural abilities. Mortican was a quiet, withdrawn individual as a result, but took some pride in his work. He offered people a new outlook on life, even though it was only a temporary outlook. However, he had interests and pursuits outside of his function-locked assignment. He began to study psychology – most notable Rungian but others too – and develop his own theories about the psyche. Other readings that he stumbled across were the poetry and later works of a miner named Megatron with whom he began a correspondence, sharing theories and thoughts with him.

Things began to get unpleasant for him when Mortican was introduced to the Institute. His clinic was partially converted to an Institute facility. Dissenters against the Senate would be taken to another section of the building and were given an “attitude adjustment” by one of the specialists of the Institute. But other clients would receive the same service as before from Mortican, and he continued his work with only slight misgivings.

Following the dissolution of the ruling government and the outbreak of the Great War, most clinics ceased operation. As the corrosion of war without end wore on Cybertron's populace, the few remaining clinics began offering a new service for those who wished to escape the conflict but could not leave the planet: assisted suicide. Mortican’s clinic was one of those clinics. He became a death doctor, extracting sparks from their bodies painlessly and then watching them slowly flicker out and die.

Before long, this understandably took its toll on Mortican. One day, Megatron came to him and offered him a place by his side as a psychotherapist for the Decepticons. Mortican felt that he could actually make a difference. Choose a different life than the one assigned to him by the functionalist Senate. He assumed the name Synapse, resolved to help save lives and no longer take them needlessly, and became a determined and stalwart psychotherapist in the Decepticons. To this day, he has never forgotten the faces and names of those he senselessly killed in his time at the clinic.

Abilities: Synapse is entirely average at combat, which, in the Decepticons, means that most others could tear him apart. He is able to hold his own for a little while at least, but his weaponry is also not much to speak of. Synapse possesses a laser pistol and energon dagger for self-defense in combat scenarios. He’s not incompetent with them either, more than capable of taking a life against less armored foes. In his alternate mode, he exchanges his ranged weapon for his talons and beak, employing hit and run tactics to steadily wear down an opponent.

In alternate mode, Synapse can fly at speeds up to Mach 0.9 (~685 mph). However, his true power lays in his mind. Fiercely intelligent and fairly technically skilled as well, Synapse is more than capable of providing medical assistance to Decepticons in need thanks to his somewhat rudimentary medical training at the Relinquishment Clinic. Over the vorns of war, he has polished this skill as necessary, constantly reading and studying to further his knowledge. However, his focus resides firmly in psychotherapy, his excellent communication skills and charisma aiding him in his endeavors.

Weaknesses: Not especially adept at combat as compared to warriors, Synapse has a very weak armor composition, which makes him even more vulnerable if attacked. On top of that, he has a strange tendency to be accident prone through the virtue of some really awful luck and winds up in the medical bay often because of it.

Sample Post:

Semper Tyrannis – Medical Ward

“Mmm…” Synapse moaned softly from within a CR chamber. “What…what happened?” The door to the chamber hissed open as the nanite-rich fluid finished draining from it. The psychotherapist grasped the edge of the chamber weakly, glancing around the empty medical ward. “That’s odd…There’s usually someone here…I wonder how long I was out this time.”

Stumbling out of the chamber uncertainly, Synapse cloaked his body with his metallic wings and walked over to a terminal. He pulled up his most recent medical records, skipping past his prior unfortunate encounters involving the oil reserve, and malfunctioning magnalocks. It seemed this one…was about a power cord…and an open service hatch? Oh dear. That seemed dreadfully thoughtless of him. He simply remembered walking down a corridor, minding his own business.

Well, now that that mystery was solved…On to the current situation. Last Synapse could recall, they had been docked at Nebulos prior to a large operation against the Autobot stronghold and penitentiary Garrus-9. Had that transpired yet? He would have to scroll through the field reports…Where…Synapse tapped away at the console until the information was displayed for him. He rubbed his chin thoughtfully at these new revelations.

“Ah ha! We’ve done it already?! Good show, Lord Scorponok, good show. I’d expect nothing less from our commander,” Synapse chuckled to himself cheerfully, “Though…it seems Garrus fell with its own surprises…Omega Supreme…Oh, Overlord graced us with his presence, did he? But fell to Omega Supreme…That’s moderately surprising. I had thought one of the Warriors Elite might have been able to fell that titan…Though it could be that Overlord fell more to one of his own weaknesses rather than anything else. Who’s to say?”

“Hm…Lord Scorponok can’t be pleased that Omega Supreme escaped…We’re on borrowed time now. But it seems we did get what we came for…” Synapse deactivated the terminal and moved toward the exit. “I should let him know that I’ve returned to active duty. For how long that lasts this time, anyway.”

>>”Lord Scorponok?”<< Synapse began as he opened the channel, >>”Ah, yes, Synapse reporting to tell you that I’ve made a full recovery. As you know, my most recent…ah…accident prevented our appointment, and I know you must be busy now…But I simply must insist that you do come to see me when you have a moment.”<<

That task accomplished, Synapse continued through the enormous corridors of the Semper Tyrannis in search of a certain laboratory.

A Certain Laboratory

The doors to the lab hissed open as the avian Decepticon stuck his head into the room cautiously. “Lobe? Are you in here by chance? Old friend?” Synapse stepped inside with an incredible amount of caution trying to keep his limbs firmly tucked beneath his wings, which served as a kind of cloak. “I’m coming inside,” he called.

And he did, but he stood a good deal away from the work benches and equipment scattered about. Many of his experiences with death’s door had come in this one room, it didn’t pay to tempt fate. Also Lobe could be quite cross if one of his accidents destroyed his equipment or specimens as it so often did. That was the primary reason that Synapse attempted to keep to himself. He simply felt terrible if his atrocious luck hindered his long-time friend and companion.

“Hm…I wonder if he’s gone down to the planet…” Synapse murmured thoughtfully.

I’m sorry, but you need to provide a sample post. Your app won’t be approved without one.

I will say this, however, I noticed that your profile is basically one long run-on sentence. The same is also true for the abilities and weaknesses sections. You need to learn to use a period and break things down into multiple sentences. This needs to be addressed, especially when you write out your sample post, which should be no less than three paragraphs in order to get a good sense of your writing ability. You also have numerous spelling errors throughout this application. I would recommend putting it through a spell checker before re-submitting it.

Furthermore, total stat points for a fanmade is 70. You are currently using 66, which is fine. However, your character’s invisibility would have a stat penalty of at least 6 or more so you need to subtract 2 more points from somewhere. Also, no stat can be below 3, so firepower needs to be increased, which means you’ll have to subtract a third point from another stat to ensure your total points is no higher than 64. This total does not include rank, as that will be appointed by the mods.

I also advise to flesh out his profile and history some more. One short paragraph does not really give us enough background to really get to know your character or understand him very well. The more you tell about him, the more interesting he is. Plus, you need to go into more detail in the abilities section and describe exactly how his invisibility works. Is it complete invisibility? Is it a cloaking device from radar when in jet form? How does it function?

Also, Jazz is 26 feet tall, so if you want your character to have his height, that would be it.

Make all of these changes and re-post your app and we’ll have another look at him. :D

“Mmm…" Synapse moaned softly from within a CR chamber. “What…what happened?" The door to the chamber hissed open as the nanite-rich fluid finished draining from it. The psychotherapist grasped the edge of the chamber weakly, glancing around the empty medical ward. “That’s odd…There’s usually someone here…I wonder how long I was out this time."

I’d expect nothing less from our commander," Synapse chuckled to himself cheerfully, “Though…it seems Garrus fell with its own surprises…Omega Supreme…Oh, Overlord graced us with his presence, did he? But fell to Omega Supreme…That’s moderately surprising. I had thought one of the Warriors Elite might have been able to fell that titan…Though it could be that Overlord fell more to one of his own weaknesses rather than anything else. Who’s to say?"

“Hm…Lord Scorponok can’t be pleased that Omega Supreme escaped…We’re on borrowed time now. But it seems we did get what we came for…" Synapse deactivated the terminal and moved toward the exit. “I should let him know that I’ve returned to active duty. For how long that lasts this time, anyway."

>>”Lord Scorponok?"<< Synapse began as he opened the channel, >>”Ah, yes, Synapse reporting to tell you that I’ve made a full recovery. As you know, my most recent…ah…accident prevented our appointment, and I know you must be busy now…But I simply must insist that you do come to see me when you have a moment."<<

Old friend?" Synapse stepped inside with an incredible amount of caution trying to keep his limbs firmly tucked beneath his wings, which served as a kind of cloak. “I’m coming inside," he called.

“Hm…I wonder if he’s gone down to the planet…" Synapse murmured thoughtfully.

Looks good to me. Very well done. Approved. Have fun with the owl-former! :D

Stealth opened comm with >Areo<
"Find any traces of Ross around? Reply Back if you do?" comm ended.

Stealth located Ross but realised the DJD were in the location. Stealth spoke to himself "I see a member of the DJD is in my way from reaching Ross" Stealth transformed behind a pillar, still invisible. Stealth noticed >Vos< was watching guard, "I need to take him out" Stealth crept forward and pulling out a Katuna, he crept behind >Vos< about to peirce though to sever his spark.

Profile: Two separate robots with one mind. That is who Lobe is. Each bot represents two separate functions of his brain. One encompasses Lobe’s artistic side while the other is a physical representation of his scientific side.

In the past, before the start of the war, Lobe had established himself as the head of the Iaconian Mechaforensic Division. He accomplished great leaps in the study of the Cybertronian mind. During his tenure with Mechaforensics Lobe was responsible for finding a way to retrieve live data from the brain modules of dead Cybertronians. The feat caught the attention of the Functionist Counsel.

In the eyes of the Functionists Lobe’s revolutionary scientific breakthrough was worthy of its highest reward. His contribution for the betterment of the Cybertronian race, the scientist was declared alt mode- exempt. In conjunction with the reward, Lobe was made the head of the newly established Institute, a Senate facility whose purpose was to reprogram dissidents.

He ran the Institute and remained with the Iaconian Mechaforensic Division as its head during the Functionist regime.

The work performed with the Institute included Shadowplay, a horrific procedure used to alter the personality of Cybertronians. At times the use of the age-old custom of Empurata was also employed.

Soon after the war began Lobe sided with the Decepticons. The promise of plenty of leeway to perform his work was likely the selling point.

Abilities: Lobe’s field of scientific study was directed towards mnemosurgery, cerebrosurgery, brain dissection, Empurata and Shadowplay. He is able to rework a Cybertronian’s personality with relative ease molding them into whatever, or whomever, his superiors’ desire.

Being of the scientific class, Lobe is not well schooled in the art of battle. He carries concealed push daggers which he can utilize if confronted by an attacker in close proximity. Lobe would prefer to avoid a close encounter which is why he carries a standard laser pistol. Using the weapon keeps him at a safe distance making it easier to “hit and run”.

Along with his daggers and pistol, Lobe can also use the needles in his fingertips as rudimentary weapons. But these would be a last resort as their use would require his assailant to be too close for his comfort.

To compensate for his lack of fighting skills Lobe is very maneuverable. He’s lean and limber making his escapes quick and quiet.

Lobe was declared alt mode-exempt…he has retained his alt mode but uses it rarely.

Weaknesses: Lobe is not a warrior. He has little knowledge in the way of fighting. He is capable of defending himself but not for very long. He is likely to find an easy escape route than pick a fight. Since his alt mode is only useful in a lab or surgical room he is quite slow as he can only rely on walking or running to get where he needs to go.

Okay, we still have some issues with this app. Let me try and break it down.

While your profile is definitely fleshed out considerably from the last version, it still needs a lot or reworking before it can be approved. For starters, there’s no way your character is powerful enough to kill any version of Vos or any other DJD member. Those guys are essentially Phase Sixers, and even if Stealth Blade did manage to kill one of them he’d be hunted down by them immediately regardless if your guy was still a con or not. Plus, if he’s now in hiding then where would you start him in the game? Surely the cons won’t accept him after he killed a DJD member. He’d have to already have fled to the Autobots if he even escaped the DJD to begin with, which I doubt he could. Basically, you’re going to have to eliminate the DJD entirely from your character’s profile. It just isn’t going to work as is.

Furthermore, your invisibility is still an issue for me, and I might be misunderstanding how it works. Is your character invisible to the naked eye like the Predator (and even the Predator can somewhat be seen due to a slight distortion if someone looks close enough) or is Stealth Blade just cloaked from radar like a stealth jet, but he can still be seen optically?

Bare in mind that there is no such thing as total invisibility for any character. There is always a way to detect the user of a cloaking device. Like I said above even the Predator can be seen due to a distortion that surrounds him, not to mention infrared would pick him up as well. The same could be said of Stealth Blade. There has to be limitations. Another example is a character like Mirage who can become invisible to the naked eye but he can only do so for six minutes before having to become visible again. You talk about Stealth Blade's focus being broken but then you stop and don't finish your thought. What happens when his focus is broken? Does he become visible? This would be a good limitation, but there has to be more as no one is totally invisible without any way to detect them.

In addition, I would think a special ability like this could drain a character’s power levels to some extent. Also, this kind of optical invisibility would have a greater stat penalty at around 10 points which means you need to take off another five points since you are currently using 65 total. The most total stat points you would be allowed to use then would be 60.

Now if you went with just being cloaked to radar only, but still visible to the naked eye, then only 6 stat points would need to be subtracted. Again, you are currently at 65 total points, so would you need to subtract 1 more point from somewhere if you went this route.

Lastly, you also still have a lot of spelling and punctuation errors throughout the app which need to be corrected. Your sample post will need to be reworked to eliminate the DJD from it, and I would also write a lot more to prove to us you are able to play a character well with any kind of invisibility power. Also, you don’t put these symbols, > <, around other character’s names. They only go around the dialogue of transmissions being sent like this: >>”Transmission dialogue here.”<<

So, rework your app and make the necessary changes and we’ll then have another look at it.

Profile: [Intelligence Report C121733: Punch, Autobot Undercover Agent] Let me be perfectly clear here. Subject T103, aka Cutthroat is beyond redemption. I recommend this monster to be shot on sight. With not a trace of mercy to be found among his microchips, Cutthroat, not surprisingly, enjoys a reputation for mindless savagery and excessive destruction. He is as emotionally filthy as Blot is physically. The subject's antics even shock some of his fellow Decepticons in their extremeness. His preferred fighting style is lashing out with wings, beak and claws until he's reduced his adversary to metal ribbons. Though many of his allies privately bemoan the energy wasted in Cutthroat's lethal zeal, none has had the courage to attempt to talk to him about it. They know that if they antagonize Cutthroat, he might just as soon turn his insatiable lust for destruction on them as on the Autobots. The subject preys on signs of weakness and shows no mercy in his cruel words. Too often only Hun-Grrr's presence keeps this murderous mechanoid from tearing his own allies apart.

Abilities: Subject possesses great strength and even more impressive physical endurance. In creature mode, the subject can leap up to four miles and, if he catches the right breeze, has been known to glide for considerable distances. Less known is the fact that the subject is actually equipped with engines he can use to propel him even to speeds of 1200 mph. The subject hardly ever utilizes his engines as it removes the advantage of approaching his victims silently - for Cutthroat despises nothing as much as a fair fight. Like all the other Terrorcons, the subject is equipped with a flamethrower inside his mouth. His beak, wings and claws can slice through all but a few rare metal alloys. In robot mode, the subject carries a double-barreled magnetizer, which charges any metal target it hits with powerful, opposite magnetic fields so that the target literally tears itself apart.

Weaknesses: Subject often recklessly uses his difficult-to-control leaping and gliding abilities, and consequently, often ends up in situations where he does not have the advantage. His excessive use of force often leaves him depleted of energy and vulnerable to attack, however even in these situations the subject is extremely dangerous to approach. While attacking, he destroys everything around him, including Decepticon facilities. Known to attack fellow Decepticons during an intense battle, usually leaving them badly injured.

Sample Post:

The stream of curses pouring from Cutthroat's vocaliser almost equalled the energon cascading from the wounds he was inflicting on the Autobots. Removal of limbs. Disembowelling strikes. Decapitations. Cutthroat alternated between his lethal options, taloned servos thrashing about in a blur of unrelenting fury.

He was the storm and the elements that augmented its power – a physical tempest composed of cold metal and a burning rage. Like leaves flying through the air at the mercy of a vicious wind, the Terrorcon's berserk blows launched body parts about him as Cutthroat's attacks cleaved and tore through the group of Autobots.

An arm, severed at the elbow articulation point, spun over his shoulder joint, showering him in fluids and oil. A leg, decorated with splits and gashes, skidded past his own. Even a pair of cracked optical lenses found themselves evicted from their residency and crushed under the Terrorcon's feet mercilessly.

While the shock trooper was thrilled with the carnage he was producing – the horror of mass amputations carried out by a psychotic surgeon – he was more thrilled by their fragility. They were cut down easily, their armour plating submitting willingly to the swift descent of his claws. It brought a grin to his psychotic features.

Their weaknesses caused him to chuckle.

Then laugh.

Then cackle.

Cutthroat roared at the Autobots – at those who remained, anyway. “You pieces of scrap! This is it? This is the best you can do? Hopeless. Useless. Worthless.” The Terrorcon smashed a balled fist into an unfortunate Autobot's face. “Worthless.”

Die. Die. Die.

The command erupted within his mind instantly. His logical cogitator demanded no less. With the Autobots before him, the solution presented to Cutthroat was obvious and had been stalking the confines of his central processor the moment the Autobots entered his field of vision. Still...

Die. Die. Die.

...it invaded his thoughts and took over, speaking irresistible words the Terrorcon could not ignore.

Snarling, he kicked an Autobot's legs out from underneath him. As he crashed to the ground, the Terrorcon slammed his foot on the Autobot's chest plate, pinning the wretch to where he had fallen. Splaying the talons on a servo, he thrust them into the Autobot's torso, extracting a moan that caressed his audio receptors and made him grin again.

“Time to die, little mech!” he shouted.

Die.

Cutthroat knew he was dreaming. His dreams often contained the same characteristics: fuelshed, evisceration and death. As he returned to a conscious state, he found all the usual things waiting for him. His quarters. And disappointment.

Rising from his berth, the Terrorcon flexed his razor-edged digits, imagining they were stiff and sore from mangling, and crushing, and slashing, and slicing. A growl slipped through his clenched fangs.

>>“Cutthroat,”<< Hun-Grrr said over the Terrorcons' unit channel. >>“Get rrrrready. Garrus-9 approaches.”<<

His leader closed the channel. Hun-Grrr didn't need an acknowledgement from Cutthroat to confirm he had received his order. He knew that his subordinate had.

Garrus-9. Finally.

For the first time since LV-117, the shock trooper felt his anger and frustration abate slightly. With so much carnage to be enjoyed only a mere few cycles away, Cutthroat allowed himself to smile and indulge in the fantasies that had been harassing him since visiting LV-117.

Those fantasies, as he entertained them, merged into a single idea. An intent. An obsession.

He was going to unleash hell on Garrus-9.

Looks good to me. Nicely done. Approved. He was last seen on Garrus-9 in the Amphitheater strapped down to a medical slab, awaiting to be experimented on by Jhiaxus. The last time Cutthroat was played he was awake and rather upset about being held against his will. Since then he's been idle. So, you can pick him up there. Be sure to add him to your roll call post and have fun! :D

Profile: Hailing from Caminus, Arclight found life with the Autobots to be a refreshing change of pace from her rather devout – and stuffy – homeworld. A weapons engineer from a planet that has known peace instead of war for four million years, Arclight was always fascinated by Cybertronian advancements in weaponry. She found it difficult to justify her work on Caminus. Some of her less destructive inventions made their way into law enforcement, but most were locked away, never to see the light of day.

Despite her upbeat and cheerful demeanor, Arclight almost prefers war to peacetime, something that has always troubled her. The thrill of battle. Seeing her inventions being put to their intended use. It makes her feel alive. Arclight would join in on the fighting herself, but she’s quite aware that she’s not very adept at being a frontline warrior. So instead, she likes to observe the battles play out whether in person or if it’s recorded. She specializes in melee weapons, but also designs guns and gadgets. Anything to give the Autobots an edge in battle.

Abilities: Subject is fiercely intelligent and creative. Her intelligence is put to good use whenever she sets her minds to a new weapon design. In her alternate mode, Arclight can reach speeds almost up to escape velocity. She is equipped with lasers to shoot down an aerial opponent. In robot mode, she utilizes an energo glaive, which is a bladed staff with a handle in the middle. Arclight also utilizes an explosive slime gun of her own design. The gun splatters enemies with sticky, volatile gel that will automatically detonate after a few seconds. If the victim moves or thrashes around, then the gel’s reaction accelerates and the detonation occurs sooner.

Weaknesses: Subject is physically weak. Her energo glaive requires more strength than she has to handle properly, which makes very average at wielding it despite its potential. Subject also possesses a love of battle, which can get her into many a prickly situation.

Sample Post:
Bounce Chamber

Wedged underneath the control console for the orbital bounce chamber, the upper part of a torso was obscured from sight. A hand shot out of the hole and groped around blindly. It found a toolbox, positioned next to the lower half of the mechanoid currently submerged in the inner workings of the machinery. The hand felt the ends of each of the tools, moving on to the next quickly. After a moment, the hand seemed to find what it was looking for.

Snatching up the tool, the hand disappeared back beneath the compartment. The owner of said hand, Arclight began to hum to herself as she worked away on the machines. The teal femme was in her element. Her oil and energon. Well, she was covered in it anyhow. But she didn’t mind. Adjusting the light so that it illuminated the next section that needed work, Arclight pushed herself further and continued to make her calibrations.

“♪~Oh, darkness is at bay.
But not, for long this day.
Yet toil I must through fire and flames
And find a way~♪”

“Doo doo dum~♪,” Arclight hummed cheerfully, having initially missed the sound of the doors to the bounce chamber opening. Her humming died off as she began to hear footsteps. Pretty heavy ones too. This wasn’t Bumblebee strolling in. And she had been…singing. Oh, may the Primes help her.

“…Uh…” Arclight uttered involuntarily, her processor suddenly blanking. “Uhhhhhhhh….WAIT!” Arclight suddenly tried to sit up – also involuntarily – to stop whoever it was from accessing the console while she was still jammed up in it.

CLUNK!

“Ouch! Of all the blasted…” the teal femme muttered reproachfully as she stuck a hand out from under the console. “Hello! You out there! Doing calibrations! Won’t be long, promise,” she called with a little wave. Her hand retreated back under the machinery as she grumbled to herself, trying to fix the damage she’d done by smashing her head against this module. ”It’ll be longer now…Gah, Arclight. Why’dya have to be such a ditz…” she mumbled to herself.

Smokey, I'm using the already approved profile for Bludgeon with only one teeny tiny minor change... I gave him an extra sword, simply because it feels right for him to have a second sword. Wanted to mention it just because a [very minor] change was made.

Name: Bludgeon
Allegiance: Decepticon
Function: Electric Warrior
Alt. mode: Cybertronian Tank
Weapons: Energo-Sword (2), Shield, Electric Cannon, Electric Fireballs
Height: 30 ft / 9.14 m
Quote: “To know your own limits, you must first know your foe's limits.”

Strength: 6
Intelligence: 8
Dexterity: 9
Speed: 2
Endurance: 9
Courage: 9
Firepower: 7
Accuracy: 9
Melee: 10
Tech Skill: 7
Charisma: 7
Rank: 6

Profile: Bludgeon is calmed and prepared, always giving the disconcerting impression that he knows something no one else does. He frightens other Decepticons with his emotionless demeanour during combat. One of few Decepticons who could be described as honourable, the aloof Bludgeon adheres to an archaic code which only he understands. He feels that each worthy opponent he conquers adds to his own abilities, bringing him closer to his ideal of the “ultimate warrior.” His superstitious ways and eerie religious practices disturb many Decepticons, but none can deny his effectiveness in combat. Nor would they try, lest he turn his seemingly supernatural abilities against them.

Abilities: Bludgeon is one of the most skilled hand-to-hand combatants from Cybertron and is a master of the forgotten art of Metallikato. He has generators in his legs that produce disorienting clouds of black smoke. In robot mode, Bludgeon is armed with a high-powered energo-sword and accompanying shield, as well as an electric cannon (also the main weapon in tank mode). He possesses the ability to internally create electric fireballs that can be directed through his body with a range of over 400 yards.

Weaknesses: Bludgeon has no known physical weaknesses, but adherence to his superstitious beliefs and code of honour can hamper his battlefield effectiveness.

Sample Post

The battlefield was thick with smoke... fires ignited by the aerial bombing runs had lent an eerie aire; which, admittedly, was exactly the way Bludgeon liked it.

Emerging from a swirling patch of smoke, the Electric Warrior methodically drew out his swords. His menacing gait and the effect of the smoke obscuring the light, gave Bludgeon's visage an unsettling aura.

He stopped at a small group of Autobots; frozen in place by the scene. He looked at them for a measured moment before speaking.

"Your actions today... have not been honorable." He said, though not needing to raise his voice, his commanding tone cut through the din of the battlefield. He raised his swords into an attack stance. "This is not acceptable. And for that you must pay."

With no more words wasted, the Metallikato master was in motion. The closest Autobot's cranial unit was deftly removed from his body in one slice from the deadly sword.

The second charged at him, only to receive a slice to his midsection as Bludgeon pushed forward into him, his second blade swung from the other direction, cutting clean through the Autobot's armor, his foe collapsing in a pool of his own energon.

The remaining three Autobots stood stark still. Bludgeon's faceplate was emotionless, cold hard steel, no signs of doubt... remorse... or caring as he stared them down.

Without a word, the remaining Autobots fled.

Again nothing showed on Bludgeon's faceplate as he watched his foe's flee. "Cowards." He muttered. "Unworthy opponents."

He gained no satisfaction from the skirmish. The truly were unworthy opponents. The martial arts master found no satisfaction in easy defeats, battling lesser foe's tested no skill, gained no insights, furthered his art in no way.
