Profile: Jailbreak is fond of two things, bullying those weaker than him, and ramming Autobots to bits under his wheels. Jailbreak often isn't described as a person, so much as a force of nature that wants to run over or run down everything in his way, particularly if he can go head to head with a wanna-be tough-guy in a game of chicken. Running Autobots down is a thrill that he should only be stopped because he found a new one to run over. Valuing his freedom to destroy on a whim, the Decepticon cause comes very naturally to him, though it is more than likely just an excuse to showcase his appatite for vehicular carnage.

It's unsure on what's worse, Jailbreak's need to use his own body as a weapon or his incredible toughness that allows him not only to survive the act, but do it again and again. Sometimes it would appear he has no sense of self-preservation, crashing through walls, doors, barricades. If it is even hinted that he can run through it, he may just try to do it on principle, and probably wont stop on the first attempt out of spite.

That's not to say he is any less dangerous in robot mode. He carries with him weaponry that brings about intense destruction at range. The issue often comes that he is very inaccurate with it, though that simply means he needs to keep shooting with wild abandon, even if a fellow Decepticon is in the way. With such impulse control issues, destructive lusts, and the wild abandon to execute it, he is a soldier that requires careful consideration on where he is deployed, or he may simply turn on his leader to make an example of those who waste his time and energon.

Abilities:
Flight
Shield Generator
Anti-Grav Driving

Weakness: Impulse Control Problems and Reckless Assault, he is often found putting his body on the line to crush his foes. Tending to have an anti-authority personality if he is not placed in an assignment that lets him do what he does best, more than one Decepticon has thought about shooting him in the back before he 'accidently' does the same to them. He also tends to be very easily tricked, as he is not that bright of an individual.

Sample Post:
The Anticipation. The Reving of Engines. The Heat of Burning Rubber as wheels turn on concrette and the speed gathers. The sound of lasor fire overhead builds the intensity, and for that moment, Jailbreak savoured every moment of it. Just ahead was an autobot, trying to outmanuver him, run from him, veering between buildings and ruins alike. It didn't matter though, it just added to the thrill. Debree flew high as he crashed through this Autobot's obsticle course trying to make him slow down, hoping to loose him, but even with the disruptor fire clanging off his shielded hull it was clear Jailbreak was all but a monster who relished in the persuit.

CRASH!

Time stood still, Jailbreak's occular sensors didn't need to show him what he already knew. He could FEEL it! That bending steel forming around his front grill, a perfect T-Bone collision. That smell of oil and fear, that taste of a spark at the hight of terror knowing it was about to be snuffed out. It felt like forever before his audio could take it that sound that almost brought a tremble of glee to his internal structure, or maybe that was just the vibration if the impact. That sound of twisting metal and screaming of horror and surprise. These were the moments that made life worth living.

Then that momment was gone. He watched the Autobot roll twice over before crashing into one of the structures it was using for cover. Jailbreak however still had momentum, and pushed forward picking up speed again. Maybe the Autobot would survive, maybe he wouldn't. Many would say 'finish it' and make sure he would remain inoperable. That would be missing the point though.

"Common Autobot! Get up! Don't make it this easy!" The words barely came out before the second collision happened. That moment that defined Jailbreak.

That moment where time stood still...

This is another good app with a solid sample post. Nice job. Again, though, there are a few areas that need fine-tuning and like above it mainly involves the Special Abilities and Abilities sections.

For starters, you mention flight again and again I assume you mean robot mode flight. This is not really considered a special ability as far as the Decepticons are concerned since they all have that ability. Therefore, you don’t have to mention it as a special ability or even mention it at all since it’s a given with the ‘cons. If you want to leave it here that’s fine, but most ‘con profiles don’t mention it. Your call.

Now, you have him with a protective force field that allows him to crash through things more easily. However, you also have him with an endurance level of 9 (that’s without a force field), which means his armor is very strong and can withstand a lot of punishment without much damage occurring. Therefore, having a force field is unnecessary for him as he doesn’t need it. Plus, judging by his personality, he doesn’t seem to be the type that would “hide” behind a force field. So, I would remove this special ability all together and add the extra 4 stat points back in. A force field would actually be an 8 point penalty but again it’s really not needed considering how tough he already is.

Finally, you have him with an anti-grav (anti-gravity) special ability that allows him to drive up very steep surfaces and make small jumps. I have to admit, I’m a bit perplexed by this as anti-grav sounds like he could literally hover just above the ground in vehicle mode. That’s really what anti-gravity does, and I’m assuming he’s not going to be able to do that? Plus, how steep an incline are we talking about? I assume he’s not going to drive straight up a wall. Why not just transform back to robot mode and fly up said wall? Would be easier. As for going up very steep surfaces or making small jumps, more horsepower could accomplish that or even a rocket booster like Kit from Knight Rider to make the small jumps. Might look a little silly with a big truck doing jumps, though. So, I don’t really see the need for this kind of special ability as there are other ways a mech could accomplish those things. I would either rethink this anti-grav concept or remove it.

As a result, and depending on what you want to do with the anti-grav idea, you’ll have the full 70 stat points to use. Your accuracy again seems much too low. 3 means he has really lousy aim and wouldn’t do very well in a firefight. I would up that to at least 5 so he’s at least an average shooter.

Furthermore, as with you last app, the Abilities section down below the character profile needs to be written out in paragraph form, detailing his normal abilities along with any special abilities. Talk about how fast he is, his strength, what his weapons can do, etc.

Okay, so again, this is a pretty good first attempt and you are almost there. It’s very well done, but the special abilities need to be adjusted. Robot mode flight is fine, but I don’t see a force shield being needed for a tough mech like him, and the anti-grav needs to either be reworked or also removed. So, make the necessary changes to those areas and adjust your stats accordingly. Then re-post the app, and I’ll have another look at it. And again, if you have any questions or need any help please feel free to PM me. I’ll be happy to assist.

Abilities:
Jailbreak shares a flight mode with all Decepticons, though he is usually loathed to do so if driving upon roads (Or even off-road) is an option.

In his Alt mode, Jailbrake is capable of taxing his energy reserves to gain sudden bursts of speed, or even causing him to become mildly airborne for up to 10 meters. This is a limited function, as over-using this ability causes him tremendous internal strain, however is is a chance for him to gain a lot of momentum with minimal space to hit his top speed, and even for a few seconds to exceed his natural top speed.

His weapon is a Quad-Barrel Gatling Laser, able to lay down hundreds of small laser bolts in very rapid succession, it is often used for suppression fire just to keep opponents pinned down until he can close distance enough to engage in grinding them under wheel in alt form. It's a very inaccurate weapon that only gets more so at greater distances, however up close it can chew some of the more resilient targets to scrap.

Profile: With his crew, Sidetrack worked upon laying foundation work for some of the greatest spires of Cybtertron. During the Decepticon Uprising, Sidetrack sided with the Decepticons. The idea of only living for a singular purpose, that his existence will be reduced to a single action repeated eternally until the spark in his chest fades left him feeling trapped, and the chance for freedom from this eternal cycle was all he could hope for.

However over time the death toll raised, the destruction incalculable, and the loss of his build team became too much. The freedom seemed to be gained, but the war continued. Each side pushing an ideology that seemed so similar and then growing out of control. Decepticons becoming so much more the tyrants they fought against, and the Autobots seeming to fight against that tyranny but forgetting much like the Decepticons have why such conflicts became. Now it was revenge, perpetual loss, and no aims that could possibly justify the fields of dead that lay at all of their feet.

The switching of allegiance was tough. The sad truth is the horrors that Sidetrack was involved in can never be erased, and his many crimes is something that weighs heavily upon his spark, the only hope is that by strengthening the Autobots with his own hand, he may just serve as the example his people need. The destruction has finished it's work, it was time to build anew, and for that to happen, this horrible conflict must come to an end...

Abilities: Sidetrack has the ability of flight in his robot mode which is a remanent of his Decepticon Loyalties. In vehicle form he possesses a drill head that rotates 5000 rpm and is capable of boring through rock or steel in a surgical manner. Sidetrack is painfully slow in his alt mode, lucky to make it up to 40 MpH. In robot form, he carries a plasma pistol for ranged combat and his drill takes the place of his left hand and can be used as a weapon in close quarters combat.

Weakness: Often haunted with notion of causing more death and destruction, Sidetrack finds it difficult to defend himself, making it a struggle in combat to even defend himself. What's more, his slow speed makes it difficult to run fron conflict, focing him in a position to once again engage in the nightmare he is trying to get out of.

Sample Post:
"By the Allspark some cycles I hate this. Sometimes, I feel it ya know? Those stares. Optics on me just long enough to look away when I return the 'look'. Don't deny it, you've done it too. I can't blame you. 'Once A Decepticon, Always A Decepticon'. Like I havent heard that one a million times." With his single right hand, consuming the energon ration of the day. It wasn't much, but it was enough to get by. That seemed to be the thing, it was all Getting By. Watching over the field of the days work, he saw the ground ripped open and rock laid flat like a pad, steel bars sprouting out from it as the beginning of the new forward operating base was being placed. In the sunset though, it looked like bare proto-frame burning, gnarled hands reaching up as though in protest to their firey demise.

Grapple had that look on his face. This was always a sore subject, but being one of the few who could even see past the scratched purple over Sidetrack's chest that laid under the red of the Autobot insignia, Sidetrack often confided in him. The barbs and 'looks' he got frequently, he tried to take it all in and push forward. But not with Grapple. Grapple he had to let in. It seemed right, given their history, however brief it was back on Cybertron.

"It gets tough, but that comes with the choice, right? Doing what's right. Thing is Grapple, I don't need them to understand. Ahhh slag it, maybe I just don't want them to. Getting close gets your internals all mangled up, especially when they become another casualty. Probably worse for the others, at least the dead don't need to live with the loss. Instead, we continue forward. Trying to build it back up again, then it gets torn up, build it again, and just hoping you have enough in you to build it one more time than they got firepower to bring it all down. Not just here... I mean this whole galaxy. That's what it really comes down to. Are we building something that will last, or are we gonna be leaving a cinder."

Transforming, the grinding of an old T-Cog became loud, the old pieces of Sidetrack's body going into place slowly, going back to something that made sense, he could feel his treads digging into the dirt and rock beneath him. To think, I fought so hard to do something else other than my function. The universe has a sick sense of humour.

Profile: When Misfire shoots, his fellow Decepticons run for cover. Misfire has truly terrible aim, but he says he's improving. Regrettably, none of his fellow Decepticons share his confidence. Indeed, it is said Misfire only graduated from the Decepticon military academy because of the need for new troops. Megatron, however, sees some value in Misfire, deeming his tendency to fire blindly a useful asset when Decepticon forces are limited. To best make use of this talent, Misfire is usually assigned to smaller squads and low level field commanders. Despite his abysmal aim, Misfire is fairly charismatic and friendly, and gets along well with his Decepticon comrades.

Abilities: Misfire can endure many attacks thanks to the strength of his vehicle's frame and design. Despite his bulk, Misfire is very fast, reaching speeds of Mach 2.1 in vehicle mode, and is very capable of maintaining formation and engaging enemies in ship to ship combat. He excels at squad tactics and unit cohesion, and is easily able to adapt new strategies or maintain battle patterns... at least as long as he has a few comrades left to support him.

Weaknesses: Misfire's aim is his greatest weakness, as even targets at point blank range seem capable of eluding his particle shots. In addition to his poor targeting, Misfire is a bit cowardly and is quick to retreat when left unsupported.

Sample Post:

Decepticon Battlecruiser Thanatos - Lounge:

Well, time for a drink again I suppose; thought Misfire. He had been practicing for a good and long while in the Firing Range. I am getting better, I know it. Bonecrusher said I am, and he's not stupid like others say he is. He may not have the highest I.Q., but he is sure dang better than Swindle as far as character.

As Misfire entered the Lounge, he noticed that there was a broken table being scooped up by a couple of the staff. Looks like Bonecrusher's been through here again, heh.

As Misfire went to the counter and called for his preferred beverage, he started thinking to himself. I remember being just like Bonecrusher. Sometimes motives and emotions just get in the way of one's intelligence. I get that. Bonecrusher is not as much of an idiot like others may say though. I saw two sides of him. His cliche side here in the bar, and his real self in the Shooting Range. Maybe I'm just the only one who understands him, heh.

Then another mech walk in. Jailbreak is who it was, however Misfire could not recognize him. Only a couple 'Cons remained in the Lounge at this point, so he decided to try and make more friends.

Misfire walked over with his newly-poured intoxicated energon and he decided to take the plunge.

"Hey dude, I don't think I recognize you. What's your name? Mine's Misfire."

Height: 26 ft / 7.93 m
Weapons: Heat-ray rifle (robot mode), 2 light-pulse blasters (warplane mode).

Accuracy: 6.0
Melee: 7.0
Tech Skill: 6.0
Charisma: 6.0
Rank: 5.0

Profile: Before you walk up and say hello to Strafe, you'd better run for cover... because this high-strung, hair-trigger Technobot is more likely to spray you with weapons fire than shake your hand. He's not mean or murderous in nature… he's just nervous. Too much quiet makes his circuits tingle and sudden noises can cause him to pop a few plugs. So rather than remain calm in these situations, Strafe has developed the annoying habit of shooting first and asking questions later. And that's too bad, because once he lowers his guns, Strafe becomes one of the kindest, gentlest Autobots of all. Unfortunately, few ever get close enough to him to find this out for themselves.

Abilities: Oddly enough, despite all his wild shooting sprees, Strafe is an expert marksman. When he wants to, he can burn a hole right through a screw head from two miles away with the searing beam of the heat-ray rifle that he carries in robot mode. In his warplane mode, he yields two light-pulse blasters and can achieve a maximum ground speed of 250 mph. He can also engage his rear retro-rocket boosters, which allow him to fly at a maximum speed of 580 mph with a 3,000 mile range. In all his modes, he exhibits lightning-fast reflexes and can outmaneuver a heat-seeking missile, making a right turn at maximum flying speed in the space of a quarter-mile.

Weaknesses: Strafe has a tendency to stall in mid-air during some of his more daring maneuvers. The wasteful manner in which he uses his weapons often leaves him lacking ammo in battle situations when he truly needs it.

Sample Post: Man, this whole experience is really weird, Strafe thought to himself. Wait a second. Why am I seeing Nosecone's memories? And now Lightspeed's? Hey, look, there's Afterburner's ex. Hold on, what is Scattershot doing? Man, that's just creepy. What was in that engex I had last night?

Strafe was currently combined with his fellow Technobots as Logicor at the Garrus-9 Ampitheather in Decepticon captivity. They had been experimented on by Jhiaxus to form this monstrosity.

While Strafe was deep in thought, he noticed something was happening. He opened his eyes, and was a first person view of himself kicking a tiny Hun-grr across the Ampitheather. Strange, he mused. I'm not doing that. At least, I don't think I am.

Again, sorry for the delay. Not a bad second choice. Approved. Just remember that Strafe's a part of Logicor now and Sid is currently controlling the combiner for the time being. That being said, I don't see any reason why you can't use your sample as your first post if that's what you choose. Works pretty well as is without interfering with what Logicor is doing. Anyway, enjoy!

Music: To her music brings color to the dull and boring world. All types of animals: She gets along with animals and loves reading about them.

Dislikes: Doesn’t like crowds: Due to her social inadaptability and intelligence she can’t deal with a lot of people. Rapist, thieves, jerks, ect.: Although she will excuse people if they have a reason she approves of, such as thieves who have to steal for their family. Gossip: Due to believing gossip as an “uninteresting” distraction she tends to stay away from gossiper’s. Girly girls: Dresses, make-up, skirts, essentially a very feminine pony, mostly because she hates make-up, because she believe it makes you fake and dresses and skirts too airy.

The middle front spike curved to a V with extended curved front fins on the side-front with a red M, the M’s sides lines were on the inner front fins and the V of the M was in the middle. The car form also had back car fins and a rear wing. (I loved the Speed racer series so I wanted a car that looked like the Mach 5, that’s why my name has Mach in it)

Bipedal mode: 3 colors; Red, white, and blue. A 25’ ft tall bot that is mostly white with a silver face plating and violet-blue optics. A white Back-Plate that ends out in 3 curved spikes the middle spike curving into a V with extended curved front fins on the sides with a red M, the M’s sides lines were on the inner front fins and the V of the M was in the middle. A red button up with the top three button undone with a grey silk dress vest, white dress gloves, and red bell-bottoms.

Protoform (under armor): A silver body with a light sword mark on her hip.

Backstory: Born November 30, Crystal City. Her Parents divorced sometime after her birth and her father went missing after 10th birthday. She soon meets an older Mech called Starscream who teaches her basic science and self-defense, he also taught her how to fire a gun at 13 before he disappeared. At 14 she entered high school majoring in forensic science and medicine, and joining in Band and Strings, as well as a few sports.

At 11 she would often go to the outskirts of Crystal City where she captures a glimpse of a giant yellow, orange, and black bot. She would then always go to see the bot and practice her music – that she knew since she was 9 – until she was 19 where the giant bot saved her from her teacher, well sorta she found him in the college labs – she went there for books every once in a while since highschool – and through endless begging – though she will forever deny it – Shockwave agreed, who she found out was a Decepticon. She later moves to Iacon when the Constructicons attack, to which she finishes her studies with the books there. At 20 she joins the Autobots helping the Medics while still studying Forensic science.

Personality: With a natural thirst for knowledge, given the title of “bookworm” as a child. Proud of it, greatly enjoying her broad and deep body of knowledge. She enjoy sharing what she knows as well, confident in her mastery of their chosen subjects, she prefers to design and execute a brilliant plan within her field rather than share opinions on “uninteresting” distractions like gossip.

Mach Speed is simultaneously the most starry-eyed idealist and the bitterest of cynics. At times it will seem that she is bent on deconstructing and rebuilding every idea and system she comes into contact with, employing a sense of perfectionism and even morality to this work. Anyone who doesn’t have the talent to keep up with her processes, or worse yet, doesn’t see the point of it is likely to immediately and permanently lose her respect. Not impulsive, Mach Speed will strive to remain rational no matter how attractive the end goal may be. This mechanism is applied at all times, to all things and all people, and this is often where she will run into trouble.

Mach Speed is brilliant and confident in bodies of knowledge she has taken the time to understand, but unfortunately the social contract is unlikely to be one of those subjects. White lies and small talk are hard enough as it is for a type that craves truth and depth, but Mach Speed may go so far as to see many social conventions as downright stupid. Ironically, it is often best for her to remain where she is comfortable – out of the spotlight – where the natural confidence prevalent in Mach Speed as she works with the familiar can serve as its own beacon, attracting people, romantically or otherwise, of similar temperament and interests.

Mach Speed has tendency to move through life as though it were a giant chess board, pieces constantly shifting with consideration and intelligence, always assessing new tactics, strategies and contingency plans, constantly outmaneuvering her peers in order to maintain control of a situation while maximizing her freedom to move about. This isn’t meant to suggest that she will act without conscience, Mach Speed's distaste for acting on emotion can make it seem that way.

Strengths:

•Quick, Imaginative and Strategic Mind: Mach Speed prided herself on her mind, taking every opportunity to improve her knowledge, and this shows in the strength and flexibility of her strategic thinking. Insatiably curious and always up for an intellectual challenge, Mach Speed can see things from many perspectives. Mach Speed uses her creativity and imagination not so much for artistry, but for planning contingencies and courses of action for all possible scenarios.

•High Self-Confidence: Mach Speed trusts her rationalism above all else, so when she comes to a conclusion, she has no reason to doubt her findings. This creates an honest, direct style of communication that isn't held back by perceived social roles or expectations. When Mach Speed’s right, she's right, and no amount of politicking or hand-holding is going to change that fact – whether it's correcting a person, a process, or herself, she'd have it no other way.

•Independent and Decisive: This creativity, logic and confidence come together to form Mach Speed’s ‘stand on her own and take responsibility for her own actions’ personality. Authority figures do not impress her, nor do social conventions or tradition, and no matter how popular something is, if she has a better idea, Mach Speed will stand against anyone she have to in a bid to have it changed. Either an idea is the most rational or it's wrong, and Mach Speed will apply this to her arguments as well as her own behavior, staying calm and detached from these sometimes emotionally charged conflicts. Mach Speed will only be swayed by those who follow suit.

•Hard-working and determined: If something piques her interest, Mach Speed can be astonishingly dedicated to her work, putting in long hours and intense effort to see an idea through. Mach Speed is incredibly efficient, and if tasks meet the criteria of furthering a goal, she will find a way to consolidate and accomplish those tasks. However, this drive for efficiency can also lead to a sort of elaborate laziness, wherein Mach Speed find ways to bypass seeming redundancies which don't seem to require a great deal of thought – this can be risky, as sometimes double-checking one's work is the standard for a reason.

•Open-minded: All this rationalism leads to a very intellectually receptive personality type, as Mach Speed can stay open to new ideas, supported by logic, even if (and sometimes especially if) one can prove Mach Speed's previous conceptions wrong. When presented with unfamiliar territory, such as alternate lifestyles, Mach Speed tends to apply her receptiveness and independence, and aversion to rules and traditions, to these new ideas as well, resulting in fairly liberal social senses.

•Jacks-of-all-Trades: Mach Speed' open-mindedness, determination, independence, confidence and strategic abilities create individuals who are capable of doing anything she set her minds to. Excelling at analyzing anything life throws her way, Mach Speed are able to reverse-engineer the underlying methodology of most any system and apply the concepts that are exposed wherever needed. Mach Speed tends to have her pick of professions, from forensic anthropologist to political masterminds.

Weakness:

•Arrogant: Mach Speed is perfectly capable of carrying her confidence too far, falsely believing that she resolved all the pertinent issues of a matter and closing herself off to the opinions of those she believe to be intellectually inferior. Combined with her irreverence for social conventions, Mach Speed can be brutally insensitive in making her opinions of others all too clear.

•Judgmental: Mach Speed tends to have complete confidence in her thought process, because rational arguments are almost by definition correct – at least in theory. In practice, emotional considerations and history are hugely influential, and a weak point for Mach Speed is that she brands these factors and those who embrace them as illogical, dismissing them and considering her proponents to be stuck in some baser mode of thought, making it all but impossible to be heard.

•Overly analytical: A recurring theme with Mach Speed is her analytical prowess, but this strength can fall painfully short where logic doesn't rule – such as with human relationships. When her critical minds and sometimes neurotic level of perfectionism (often the case with Turbulent Mach Speed, where she’s self-conscious and sensitive to stress. She experiences a wide range of emotions and tends to be success-driven, perfectionist and eager to improve. She is also more willing to change jobs if she feels stuck in their current one and to spend time thinking about the direction in which her life is going.) are applied to other people, all but the steadiest of friends will likely need to make some distance, too often permanently.

•Loathe highly structured environments: Blindly following precedents and rules without understanding them is distasteful to Mach Speed, and she disdain even more authority figures who blindly uphold those laws and rules without understanding her intent. Anyone who prefers the status quo for its own sake, or who values stability and safety over self-determination, is likely to clash with Mach Speed. Whether it's the law of the land or simple social convention, this aversion applies equally, often making life more difficult than it needs to be.

•Clueless in romance: This antipathy to rules and tendency to over-analyze and be judgmental, even arrogant, all adds up to Mach Speed’s often clueless in dating. Having a new relationship last long enough for Mach Speed to apply the full force of her analysis on her potential partner's thought processes and behaviors can be challenging. Trying harder in the ways that Mach Speed knows best can only make things worse, and it's unfortunately common for her to simply give up the search. Ironically, this is when she's at her best, and most likely to attract a partner.

She also has flat peds that have wheels for heels and white legs, and with a oval yellow glass dome surrounded by white metal plating attached to each side of her waist by identical wheels and a curved clear windshield as an under chassis plate with a white plating as an over chassis plate, and a bare stomach. A red helm curves around her head to the top of her neck, white circles on top of her audio receptors. A blue long diamond in the middle of her forehead the bottom point between the tops of her eyes the top point curving to the top of her helm to the back of her head jutting out a bit, the side points curving over optics around her helm stopping at the end curving in.

Battle additions: When she goes to fight plating goes over her stomach from her hips and a mask goes over her face.

Holoform: A 24 year-old woman with short-red swept-back hair and amethyst eyes and a heart-shaped face with a squared jaw, slanted eyes and a thin flat mouth with a slightly out bottom lip, a lithe body, broad shoulders, and 5’9.

This app is denied. This character as written will not work in our game. There is a lot still wrong here. First you don’t have a sample, which is required especially for brand new players. Second, you clearly have not taken any of the advice I gave you the last time you applied for this character. None. Instead, you’ve only exasperated the problems you had before. For instance, you’re still not using our game’s application template which I linked in my response to your last app attempt. What you’re using is similar, but you have waaaaaaaay too many sections and sub-sections which are completely unnecessary. You go into a LOT (and I mean A LOT) more detail this time, which is nice and all, but much of it is not usable in the game and doesn’t make a lot of sense for a robot.

For example, Transformers don’t have parents. They aren’t born on November 30 or any other calendar date that only exists on Earth. They don’t start off as children and grow up. They’re made of metal and can’t grow like that. They don’t go to high school or major in science and medicine or join the band or play sports. They don’t wear dresses or skirts that are airy or wear make-up. They also don’t go to college and have labs. That’s what humans do, teenage humans, not giant robots that transform and fight in a war. You’re applying human experiences and human things to an alien robot from another planet and it just doesn’t work. Granted, there are some similarities between humans and Cybertronians, but this is way too much and over the top.

Furthermore, you’re also still using other players’ characters in your profile, and I doubt you contacted those players for permission to use them in your fanmade’s background. If you haven’t asked permission then you have to remove mention of other characters like Prime, Shockwave, Ratchet and Starscream and any others I may have missed. You also have Mach Speed with three different functions. Pick one. She can’t be all three. She has an EMP sonar medium special ability. I’m not even sure what exactly that is, but I would at least drop the EMP part, which seems too powerful for her to have. You mention mixed martial arts. What kind? And don’t say human martial arts. She wouldn’t know those. She’d have to have Cybertronian ones. And where did she learn those martial arts? You mention Starscream teaching her basic self defense, but he doesn’t know martial arts so it couldn’t have come from him.

I strongly suggest you rethink this character. To play her you would have to do a major overall of her profile for it to work in our game. You’re more than welcome to give it another shot, but don’t just post the same thing again with some changes that uses the same format as what you have above. If you do that it’ll just be rejected again. Go back and read what I told you before. While you’re at it, take a look at other approved apps in this thread to get a better idea of what we’re looking for. Read the rules and guidelines. Read the game history and notes. Use the application template. Then try again.

Profile: Highbrow considers warfare a barbaric solution to problems, worthy of only the most primitive sentient creatures. He believes civilized folk should talk about their differences, a talent for which he seemingly has an endless capacity. Hardhead claims that Highbrow's voice box burns enough fuel by itself to power all the Autobots on their team for a year. Although that is doubtful, Highbrow does talk a lot and uses a lot of words that nobody understands. Even Chromedome often finds himself fruitlessly searching through his extensive vocabulary. Highbrow considers himself intellectually superior to the other Autobots. They think he's a self-righteous snob. Highbrow's biggest disappointment in life is that circumstance has forced him to lower himself to participate in the very activity he most loathes - fighting.

Abilities: In helicopter mode, Highbrow has twin three-bladed rotors that enable him to lift up to 22,000 pounds of cargo, and, with the help of two small vectored-thrust turbofan engines, reach a maximum speed of 1200 mph. More accurately, Highbrow's designation is a jet helicopter. He's packed with equipment designed to detect, monitor and record enemy communications; target-indicating radar whose signals can be relayed to ground stations; magnetic, infrared and audio sensors for detecting enemy robots and vehicles; and a variety of anti-detection systems to protect himself. His range is 800 miles. In robot mode, Highbrow uses two acid rainmaker rifles, which shoot streams of highly corrosive acid.

Weaknesses: Sometimes the thrust of Highbrow's jet engines overpower his rotors, sending him spinning out of control when in helicopter mode.

Sample Post:

Convergence - Garrus 9 – Miner’s Respite

As Highbrow waited for an answer from Brainstorm, he began to consider why and how the Decepticons were able to turn the Technobots into the gargantuan puppet it was. It was obvious that these Autobots were being experimented on against their will, and it was also entirely obvious that the Decepticons weren't doing it to give the Technobots an upgrade. This is indubitably an act of preparation for an upcoming attack on Autobots, and Highbrow wanted no part in it.

"Is it safe to assume that their production of gestalt slaves didn't go according to their intended results, Brainstorm? Or do you think there might be a possibility that this vicinity is under attempted siege by fellow Autobots or something of the like? I seem to possibly hear some odd noises in the distance, and some faint crashing sounds, but no gunfire. I believe it would be an undoubtedly foolish idea for me to attempt to eavesdrop on their audio signals however because of high security protocols."

(OOC: If you wish for me to wait for Brainstorm to respond to the previous Highbrow post before approving this application, I can rewrite this later to fit it in better.

(Also, I am wanting to apply for Eject myself. I didn't see he was available until I already posted this application, and I want Eject really badly. If he can be reserved for me until I can apply for him, that would be most appreciated! :D I'll try to apply for him soon, but I don't have time tonight.

Special Abilities: Energy Tap

Profile: Reaver prefers to be wrapped in a veil of mystery and fear, like the shadows he prefers to dwell in. He doesn't ask questions, he inflicts fear with deadly precision and cold, detached, emotionless, cruelty for seemingly no reason at all. He does not believe in charming his victims, it’s not his job. His job is to make them suffer.

Often times his methods lead to loosening vocalizers and ends up obtaining information, but that is far from his goal… just a fortuitous extra.

Outsiders may call him an emotional void as on the surface, it doesn't appear much moves him. Almost like a life created explicitly for dealing in the dark depths of the psyche he finds things most find abhorrent, appealing.
Though this doesn’t mean that he is unable to make friends, one just has to understand his personality is deeply rooted in his cold, cruel world. His sense of humor is twisted, he prefers things of a darker nature, and doesn't display much affection, at least that most not close to him can tell.

Abilities: Reaver can extract a small amount of charge from an opponent by contact (energy tap, also called tapping) for a short time, leaving his target weaker until he target has an opportunity to recharge. This can be done by touch of his hand (or someone touching his hand), transferring charge from the target to him as long as he maintains contact for long enough, and must be activated.

Trained in the art of stealth and with a black color a scheme, he blends almost perfectly into the shadows. Quiet movements, learned from his stealthy training, allows him to surprise most mechs without use of cloaking devices.

He is very skilled in melee, particularly flexible weapons, especially with his whip.

His rapier is charged with a mild liquid nitrogen solution that can freeze the armor the longer it is in contact with the target. It’s advantage is more psychological, sending a chill through his victim, but can be effective in causing light armor to become brittle.

His Energon Prod sends a high voltage shock when activated, capable of temporarily stunning subduing his target on it’s higher setting.

His flail has no special properties beyond a dark purple glowing effect.

[b]Weakness(es)[b]: The energy tap requires an amount of his own energy to use and can backfire on him; draining energy from him instead of his target; leaving him greatly weakened.[/quote]

PROFILE: Simple descriptive phrases are insufficient for a confirmed Earthen sports fanatic like Eject. Sports cliches clutter his everyday conversation. To him, a surprise attack on the Decepticons is "a fast break." A victory is a "touchdown." Destroying an enemy is "hitting a grand slam." Few of the other Autobots understand anything Eject says, but they all appreciate the enthusiasm with which he says it. Eject's attention was first drawn to Earthen sports by the competitive spirit that characterizes them. Where he comes from, Cybertron, such a commitment of passion and energy is only known in the field of war. He therefore found it both surprising and fascinating to observe it in an entertainment. Now Eject is a devout follower, finding sports to be an immensely enjoyable diversion (some would say "obsession'). But more Importantly, he views sports with the fervent hope that one day it will forever replace war as the way for opponents to settle their differences.

ABILITIES:
Eject has the talent to be a play-by-play announcer in most major sports, but lacks the opportunity. In iPod mode, he is able to monitor and record local radio and television broadcasts, although he is more likely to record Monday Night Football than a news bulletin on a Decepticon raid. He can also decode scrambled signals and tap into telephone conversations, both land-based and cellular. In robot mode, he uses an overload gun, which temporarily disables its target by releasing a powerful burst of electricity into its target's neural circuitry.

WEAKNESSES:
Many important broadcasts are overlooked by Eject because of his preoccupation with monitoring sports. This sometimes results in disaster not only for him but also for the Autobots who rely on him. At times his memory storage units overheat if he's recording something that gets him particularly worked up and tense, such as the Superbowl or the World Series.

Due to his symbiotic relationship with Blaster, Eject does not have a Holo-matter avatar.

Sample Post:

Island of Secrets - Central Oahu Regional Park – Abandoned Ranger Station:

Eject, you can remain here with me to help guard the base site.

"Sure thing, Prowlster,” said Eject. It was going to be a long and boring day from what it seemed. Though, it could be a good time to do a bit of thinking. As boring as it sounds, it might be a good idea.

After a while and after everyone had calmed down and went off on their selected tasks, Eject said to Prowl, “Hopefully we won’t be here too long. Rosanna will start worrying about me.”

That was a legitimate concern. Rosanna for all these thousands of vorns was not always in the most stable frames of mind, and she would always go to Eject to talk about things. Eject wouldn't say it’s anything really special between the two of them, but just a mutual friendship.

Eject after taking a look around the place a bit, he spoke back to Prowl with a smirk, “I know this may sound random, but you any smarty comments you wanna make while we’re here? I am sensing that you might be silently judging me or something.” Eject let out a chuckle. He knew that if Prowl didn’t have any before for some weird reason, he probably does now after what Eject just said. Hopefully what I just said wasn’t a strike. If it was though, I have two left. Better make those count.

If he can be reserved for me until I can apply for him, that would be most appreciated! :D I'll try to apply for him soon, but I don't have time tonight.

Approved. Since Brainstorm has now responded to Highbrow in the Convergence thread, you'll have to alter your sample if you want to use it in game. Otherwise, you're good to go. Have fun with him!

Approved. Of course, like Highbrow, you'll have to modify your sample if you want to use it in game since Prowl has already responded to Eject and given him further orders in the Island of Secrets thread. Otherwise, have fun with the little cassettebot!

This is my application for ChopShop, but i would also like to run Venom.
Im new to this style of RPG, although i have done it pen&paper.
Do i have to repost there bios?

Sample Post:

The Autobots worked in the valley, gathering samples and returning to a cluster of cybertrionian scientific equipment, efficiently punching in there results in holo screens and storing the samples away. The planet was barren and rocky, with a rudimentary eco system of insects, long grasses. weird furry trees, snakes and amphibians.
ChopShop counted five Autobots, but knew others could be could be around. The mission granted to them by Decepticon high command was, Scout the valley, find out what the Autobots were looking for and sabotage there equipment. But appreciating the value of some of those scientific instruments, Chop Shop had some ideas of his own.
Chopshop skittered through the long grass in his alt mode towards the makeshift lab, staying low to avoid detection. Still around forty to fifty meters away from the research station estimated by ChopShop, he lay waiting in hiding.
The other Insecticons will have caught up by now, and will have found the crashed stolen Decepticon shuttle with a smashed Autobot "pilot" sitting at the controls, this he hoped would create further distraction for the Autobots, and gave him time to get into position to take the best loot the other idiots would other wise destroy.
Something brushed one of ChopShops hind legs and he turned, Coming face to face with Venoms disgusting alt mode. "Oi cobba, wot you doin 'ere?" whispers Chopshop.
"I knew you were up to something, i followed you." hissed Venom.
"I knew you were a traitor, waiting for the right time to report back to your Autobot masters!"
"Cor, you serious, come and 'elp me nick some of these 'ere Autobots." ChopShop says worried they will soon be discovered.
"Ill report you for treason!" screeches Venom, bouncing back afew steps as Chopshop snaps at him with his mandible trying to shut him up.
ChopShop hears foot steps coming towards them, "Blimey" he whispers to himself, not fully turning his back on his insane companion.

The Autobot peered into the long grass not fully able to make out the shapes lurking within and whispers "interesting".

Perhaps the Autobot had mistaken ChopShop for one of the indigenous life forms, perhaps she was purely wondering why there was Insecticons watching them, for a soon as the word had left her lips, Chopshop had her around the waist with his mandible, biting down with all his might.
Only two of her companions must of herd the scientist cry out and came running over. Chop Shop was so focused on biting down on the Autobot, he didn't notice one of the new comers draw a blaster and open fire, ChopShop's frustration grew and he began to shake the Autobot scientist, shaking her in the way of her ally forcing him to stop shooting Chopshop.
The other went to call for help over the comlink putting his hand on the side of his head activating his ear stud. But instead of hearing a call for back up, all that could be heard over the comlink was a blood curdling cry, followed by a sickening gurgle as the Autobots head and throat cavity disintegrated under the toxic and corrosive vomit of Venom, who had been waiting for a chance to strike.
Finally the Autobots scientist casing gave way under the pressure of Chopshops bite, not tearing apart cleanly, he thrashed and ripped the scientist spreading Energon and components across the dusty ground.
The Insecticon's combat instincts kicked in and they switched forms drawing blasters. Other then possibility of afew Autobots in the valley walls, Chopshop knew they weren't out numbered anymore. He ran towards the research station, Venom instinctively following him giving cover fire, his paranoia momentarily suppressed by the his hatred of Autobots.
The research stations were made up of a mix of Cybertronian consoles, tables, chairs, non permanent shelters, and testing equipment. A blinkered scientists rounded a corner and was shoved back, by something small orange and moving quite fast. Another small purple shape ran past after him slipping something into his hand. As the Autobot looked down he realized it was an acid grenade. There was a sound like an organic releasing its bowls and the Autobot disintegrated into a green cloud and was gone.
The final Autobot realized what had happened to his comrades, and changed form and fled. But this was ok with ChopShop, he saw the rest of the Insecticons coming into the valley.
"Job well done, ay?" Chopshop winked at Venom who glowered back at him.
"Now comes the fun part!" Says Chopshop, as he starts stuffing expensive science equipment into a especially prepared sack.

Profile: Triggerhappy is a babbling madman. His moments of heroism are only because of his cranial damage that has caused him to have no fear whatsoever. This damage was due to an accident before when he hit his head after trying to balance on a hoverboard while firing his gun. While his head's outer shell has been repaired good as new, his inner cranial processors still have unavoidable logic determining glitches, which as an end result has given him the personality of a raging psychopath with no fear of death. Due to this, the Decepticons like to put him on the front lines because, surprisingly, no fear of death can be a useful tool when it comes to shredding hundreds of Autobots.

Sometimes, Triggerhappy may become a danger to another Decepticon, and gets locked up to calm him down. It's a relatively regular routine however, and everyone knows of his brain damage, so no-one considers it betrayal. Triggerhappy is often teamed with both Misfire and Slugslinger.

Weaknesses: Triggerhappy's cranial damage has given him no fear of death. Although this comes in handy sometimes when destroying Autobots heartlessly, it also makes him do very VERY stupid things sometimes. Such as wanting to launch himself into a black hole vortex because "it looks fun".

Sample Post:

Convergence/Garrus-9--Med Bay

"Rise in shine, triggerpuller!" shouted Triggerhappy to himself after waking from the cryogenic repair unit. It had been too long. His head hurt so much; well, it always did, but he didn't care. Triggerhappy was just 'happy. (get it?)' to be awake again and ready to do something fun. It's time to play games. That's what I do best!

Triggerhappy jumped up, and didn't even give himself time to stretch. It was another new day on another new ship. Fun times!

Just then, the crazy gunner heard something odd in the room next to him...

”Drop your weapons or I swear to you I will snap her neck. Who are you? Where in the pit I am and what the slag is happening here?”

"Huh, I swear this is not usual conversation in a med bay," said Triggerhappy.

Triggerhappy walked into the room he heard it in. He found himself standing behind Skyhammer who had some Decepticon femme in his grasp. Triggerhappy unreluctantly pulled his gun out and pointed it at Skyhammer.

"Whadya doin? We're friends, right? I just woke up, so you should really give me time to perk a bit before having a hostage situation," said Triggerhappy before laughing.

Hi, brand new to the site, and would love to jump in as Rad!

Name: Rad
Quote: "Think before you shoot, but shoot before you're shot!"
Function: Aerospace Engineer
Alt mode(s): Cybertronian air transport
Weapons (if any): Lionizer - Atom Smasher rifle
Allegiance: Autobot
Sub-group: N/A
Special Abilities: None
Height: 26 ft

Strength: 5
Intelligence: 9
Dexterity: 7
Speed: 2
Endurance: 8
Courage: 9
Firepower: 7
Accuracy: 7
Melee: 7
Tech Skill: 9
Charisma: 6
Rank: 5

Profile: With more moves than an all-pro halfback, this clever, cool-headed daredevil is adept at calculating the coefficient of friction for a rocket booster. Sometimes to save on energy, he uses some of the modified tools he has made to work on equipment or sometimes defend him if needed to be. He is sometimes more of a loner preferring the machines he is working on to other Autobot company. He will work with others if the job needs him to.

Rad is a two-fisted 'bot of science. Equally at home on the battlefield and in the laboratory, Rad's inherent level-headedness keeps his quick-tempered partner Lionizer from atomizing everything in their path. It also makes him incredibly popular amongst his teammates because of his sheer amount of skill, though he never lets it get to his head, nor does he let those few who hate him for his skills get him down.

Abilities: He can fix almost any machine even though he prefers to work on aerospace technology. He also can modify most machines if given the time and equipment. However, he has troubles coming up with new ideas and building them from scratch. He also possesses an almost symbiotic relationship with his Cybertronian partner Lionizer, whom he encountered ages ago on the streets of Cybertron.

Weaknesses: Too often his loner act has gotten him into situations that he almost didn’t survive. It is more of an independent mind and fear that others won’t accept his ideas that makes him a loner. The other problem is he has trouble speaking above the heads of most and making adjustments to where they can understand him. Only ones like Wheeljack and Perceptor would be able to hold a good technical conversation with him.

Sample Post:

Rad traced a finger along the gun's assembly. "...and then re-route the trigger assembly through the positronic heat matrix, and boom! Now do you understand?"

"What?" asked Wheeljack. "I was listening! Yeah, yeah, sure! Boom, right?" The tone of his voice made it clear that he'd tuned out somewhere during Rad's detailed schematic breakdown.

"Come on, Wheeljack! It's a gun! That only responds to the owner's individual heat signature! Don't you know what that means?"

Wheeljack shrugged. "If somebody overheats their weapon'll explode?"

Rad sighed. "I don't know why I bother sometimes. I really don't." He glanced over his shoulder. "Wait. Wait, wait, wait. Here's something I've been working on. You're gonna love this. It's an Earth toaster, right? Wrong! Because it transforms into an MP3 player with the entire Barry Manilow catalog already loaded!"

"I don't see how--"

"AND it makes toast!"

Found Acid hiding in my drafts from last June when BDixon, Cascadia, and I wanted to bring in the Rainmakers, so I figured I'd give him a pin him up and see what you guys thought ;)

Name: Acid Storm
Allegiance Decepticon
Sub-Faction: Seeker
Function: Data Analyst
Alt. mode: F-22 Raptor
Weapons: Arm-mounted Hyperion-3 Blasters (2 mounts under wings in Alt mode), Air To Air Heat Seeking Missiles (Alt mode only), Wing Tip Mounted Machine Guns (Alt mode only), Double Bladed Staff (that can also split into two separate hand-held single blades, robot mode only)
Special Abilties: Can cause a corrosive acid from contact with certain metals
Height: 31 ft/9.5m
Quote: "It is better to be well fought than well-known."

Strength: 6
Intelligence: 9
Dexterity: 10
Speed: 7
Endurance: 7
Courage: 9
Firepower: 6
Accuracy: 9
Melee: 5
Tech Skill: 9
Charisma: 9
Rank: 5

Profile: The reluctant leader of the trio of Rainmakers, Acid Storm is a charismatic figure who prefers to remain in the background, out of the spotlight. He is uncomfortable will the optics on him, however, he knows he is the best one to speak for his fellow Rainmaker brothers.

He's loyal to a fault, to bothnthe Decepticon cause as well as his seeker/Rainmaker brothers.

His skill is data, happiest when gathering information, especially with computers, hacking, gleaning data feeds. Knowledge is key for the seeker. And his focus is legendary, keeping him engrossed in a task.

Of course, given the chance to soar in the sky, Acid Storm gladly will. And should the chance arise, his combat skills really shine.

With the ability to seed clouds with metal corroding acids, he and his fellow Rainmakers can create a deadly cocktail of lethal poison to rain down on the Autobots.

Flashy it may not be, but Acid Storm prefers it that way. Content with more subversive means of combat and a more stealthy approach.

When activated, his staff is coated with a corrosive acid similar to what is blaster shoots, created by a chemical reaction from contact with Acid Storm himself, a result of an accident from his pre-war days, certain metals react with his armor to create acid.

Abilities: Highly intelligent, Acid Storm knows a lot, but is rarely flashy about showing off his knowledge. A natural charisma makes him the perfect ambassador of the Rainmakers, but breaking through his reserved aire is difficult.

His computer skills are well above average allowing him to hack secure databases aso well above troubleshoot and repair most systems.

His Hyperion-3 blasters seed clouds with acid for acid rain, as well as sprays a corrosive acid in robot mode. The acid is more potent when seeded in clouds.

He can create a corrosive coating on certain metals on contact, creating a slow acting burn that eats through most armor.

Weaknesses: Acid storm is insecure and somewhat shy around those he does not know. His preference for more stealthy measures of combat has painted him as untrustworthy, even amongst Decepticons. His focus on takes can sometimes cause him to miss what ishe going on around him.

Hey, DeadRatchet. Welcome to the RPG!

Yes, you do have to repost their bios. Both should have pre-approved ones in the Decepticon profiles section. Also, with each you need a separate sample post and not one combined one. I would do samples for each that focus on the specific character in question. Also, when you write the samples, make sure to hit the ‘enter’ key twice after the end of each paragraph. That way you have an single blank line to separate the paragraphs. In your current sample, most of it looks run on. If you’re typing things up in a Word document, for instance, and then copying and pasting it into Seibertron, that might be the issue as blank lines tend to disappear. You may need to type it out directly into Seibertron without pasting from another source.

Anyway, I once again wish you welcome and if there are any questions feel free to ask or PM one of the mods. :)

Okay, Triggerhappy looks pretty good, but you’re off on some of his stats. We’re going to use his G1 stats here. So change the following: Intelligence: 7, Speed: 7, Endurance: 7, Courage: 9, Firepower: 8, Tech Skill: 6, Charisma: 3.

Also, I wouldn’t call him “a raging psychopath with no fear of death”. Take that part out. From what I’ve read, he isn’t that bad. He’s just a crazy, nutball from the processor damage he suffered. And since his courage is actually supposed to be a 9, he has at least a little, tiny bit of fear of dying.

Anyway, make these necessary changes and I’ll have another quick look at him.

Ok, this is a good first app. Approved. Since this profile is already in the Autobot profiles section, there’s no need to re-post. Just make an entry in the Roll Call thread and you’re good to go.

Now, it’s been awhile since anyone has played Rad. He was originally taken prisoner on Nebulos and transported on Scorponok’s ship to Garrus-9 in the Convergence thread. So, he’s likely working down in the mines with some of the other Autobot prisoners. It would probably be best if you start him down there. I tried doing a search but didn't come up with much. If you have any specific questions regarding what Rad’s been up to I would PM Insidious. He was playing Rad a while back I think. He would know more about Rad's current whereabouts than I.

Anyway, have fun with him and welcome to the game! :)

This is a pretty good app, but there’s a few things that need changing. Remove the acidic staff along with the special ability where his body can create acid from contact with certain metals. We’re going with a more traditional rainmaker here and those are not things Acid Storm has really had. Besides, his blasters shoot acid and he can seed clouds with acid so those two things should be enough. Also, lower his dexterity to an 8. I’m not comfortable with it being a full 10.

Anyway, make those changes, and I’ll have another quick look at it. :)
