Here are the latest DOTM promo images of Optimus Prime and Sentinel Prime.

Comingsoon.net has posted an interview with director Michael Bay which includes this new promo image of Optimus Prime with a devastated Chicago in the background.

This one is a more mature storyline, definitely darker, more emotional in the end. You feel the stakes are higher because it takes place in an American city. You're not disconnected with Egypt and the pyramids. I'm very happy with the movie

It always bothered me that Prime would appear weathered and beat up in robot mode, but then looked recently waxed and polished as a truck...

That is the first image of Sentinel that has impressed me. He finally looks like a warrior.

They're both looking pretty awesome; and I really like Sentinel's cape/wings. Hopefully the emotional ending doesn't involve everyone dying. I'm pretty sure all of the Decepticons are as good as dead though, unfortunately. Megatron and Starscream had better not just get beat down again like in ROTF and actually be badass again. And if Shockwave is as cool as he is supposed to be, I hope he gets a better death than the Fallen did. Those were some really disappointing parts of ROTF for me, so I hope DOTM makes up for it.

Isn't it always like that? Bumblebee is always weathered and dirty but so shiny and polished in Camaro.

I noticed that too. I actually ran a BB transformation in slow mo to see how the dirt goes away. He's already clean when he transforms.

That Prime picture is EPIC! Makes you say "hmmm..." when you study the background. Nice to see a second picture of the almighty Sentinel Prime too.

Sentinel has spikes on his fists! Gettin' fist blows from him... Almost makes me pity the D'cons. ALMOST!

I am simply amazed how the transformers look so battle damaged in robot mode and then transform into these shiny, spit-clean, just off the assembly line vehicles. I am definitely hyped for this movie.

I cant wait for this, i wanna see Megatron and Shockwave and Soundwave in earth mode.

you know that pic that's been going around of Megatron with part of his face blown off and chains across his chest? That IS the new Megatron. The new toy doesn't really do him justice at all.

DAMN he looks good! So can't wait to see him in action! Wonder if his BIG cannon is more powerful than Megs' Fusion cannon.

I hope he'll use his left-hand blade to kill someone. I mean don't want that it's gonna be just an accessory.
