It's time for the galleries of Seibertron.com to jump back into the Transformers Animated pool. The subject of this entry is a trio of Animated Soundwaves which consists of an Activator and two deluxe class Soundwaves. The Activators was a size class smaller than a deluxe with a spring loaded auto transformation.

Activators Electromagnetic Soundwave was cancelled and never released into retail but like a lot of cancelled Transformers, some found their way into the hands of collectors. This deco is based on the two part "Human Error" story line. Deluxe class Soundwave comes paired with Laserbeak who transforms into a guitar while its SoundBlaster like repaint Electrostatic Soundwave comes with Ratbat who transforms into a keytar. Forgot how much I liekd DLX Soundwave and his rolling boombox altmode. Never had Ratbat/SBlaster, kinda regretted that.

I can't help but wonder what Ravage, Rumble, and Frenzy would've turned into. Other instruments? Or maybe other band members? Maybe even both?

Holy snap! Electromagnetic Soundwave! The one that got away.

A cool idea that could have been done in addition to the awesomeness of these galleries as they are would have been to have a pic of all three Activators lined up next to their respective Music Label Soundwave counterparts (regular Soundwave with Spark Blue, Electromagnetic with Sonic White, and Soundblaster with Blaster Black), in a similar vein as those pics of MPs Prowl, Lambor, Alert, and Tigertrack all lined up with their G1, and Universe toy counterparts. Like these:





A mere suggestion, but the galleries as they are are still made of pure win.
