Thanks all for the suggestion. Ill try it once I pull it out of storage. As for the glue suggestion, I still want to transform my transformers from time to time. Gluing him may hinder transformation, and in worst case, hard to sell if I decided to. Thanks though. :)

A perfectly acceptable substitute would be Future Floors or clear nail polish. Just something minor to tighten the joint so that he's not floppy. :)

My mini Optimus has his torso glued into place (along with all the gears and lever taken out), and he transforms just fine.

Ill consider it. Normally gluing a few is my last resort at attempting to fix a broken part. Thanks

Wow...

I was about to post a comment about being calm despite the comments I've seen deflating the Classics Voyager mold, and/or spewing 'geewun' nonsense... but apparently I'm so pissed off I got a nose bleed... I'll leave you to meditate on that!

That said, if this does become a reality and it is based on the IDW Optimus Prime then I'm all in! But in truth I think this is little more than an incentive image to hype up the future generations releases, and may only be indicative of future release gimmicks.

Not holding my breath or hopes, I still love Henkei Convoy and Megatron as my Neo-G1 Leaders for EVERYTHING that they are!

would be nice to see this one if its based on idw i really like their work and think it would a great tie in -also make him have a classic transform i hate all these ones were he is a different type of semi -go with the classic style is what i say.

You have my interest Hasbro. If Generations is coming back to offset Beast Hunters I'll be happy.

I wonder if hasbro is trying to beat out toy world on releasing a prime that looks like the IDW ongoing prime. Takara did do it with MP soundwave and the 3rd party company that was making one.

That would be nice, especially if it's really good! And also if they release a good Megatron to go with.

I like it. :D

This looks better than Classics Voyager Prime.

Hmm... If hasbro does IDW designs (As seen in Drift), could we get HOS Insectatrain? :ic$:

That could be cool, if this is true. It might even look better that classics voyager prime, which isn't bad at all, but I just don't have him. I have legit Nemesis Prime and Ultra Magnus but not Prime  .

I like most of the IDW designs. Usually those are not quite like G1, but they are far enough from bayformers. They have this very strong G1 feel (at leat in case of the earlier ongoing series). They are blocky enough and have human like facial features, but many may have more modern alt modes and more detailed robot forms. Like Megatron isn't anymore Walther P38, but maybe some more modern handgun with scope and silencer etc. (perhaps H&K USP or similar).

If it wasn't for that rather interesting looking weapon, I'd have simply written it off as a random bit of art.

Maybe this is the "popular IDW characters" Hasbro hinted at last year. It would suck if this means "popular" in the eyes of Hasbro and not the ones who read the flippin' comics.

Takara is doing Senator Ratbat, maybe we'll get him as well. :)

If I remember correctly, there was a panel discussion posted on a topic where Hasbro hinted at the making of toys from the IDW comic..........and if this is it, my hope is that this is not the only one, especially since there are characters that should have been a part of CHURG that didn't make it.........plus, Megatron is in serious need of an overhaul, IMHO......

If they are going to make an IDW G1-based phase of the line, then I think I'm starting to see the pattern of the Generations line:

Phase 1 - War for Cybertron
Phase 2 - Classics-style
Phase 3 - Fall of Cybertron
Phase 4 - IDW G1

(I'm excluding the GDO stuff since the U.S. wasn't originally supposed to get those.)

I guess this is what Hasbro meant by the Generations line covering multiple series and generations, only doing so in a turn-based pattern.

Though the obvious IDW-inspired Drift and Blurr were in Phase 2, they might have tested the waters for Phase 4.

Interest piqued, but I'll have to hold off on any excitement until we see some in depth pics...assuming this actually means anything beyond just art in the first place. I'm still not sold on the rookies designing the figures now since the pros moved on to Star Wars...

My big concern is whether it's a deluxe or voyager.

If they reveal that then I'll know if I'll save money for that or try to purchase current FOC Prime.

Really bites that I missed WFC Prime's figure. Hopefully this one will compensate.

I really hope this happens I love idw and they way they draw the transformers. And I really hope they make a hot rod because he is over due for a better mold just like megatron and prime IMO. Also I've been trying to collect figures that look like their idw versions.

At this point all we have is a piece of artwork. Not even confirmation that a toy will even be made.

Thanks for clearing that up, I have my excitement back under control.
