i still think the armada unicron + all the repaints and the G1 retool of the same toy
was the best, this Gaia one is a disappointment it could have much more awsome by making it at least a supreme class and not combine with megs or optimus which i don't understand why
they do combine it makes no sense

Maybe it's a form in which Unicron possesses them?

Look again. It's a horned volcano with his face in it. The chrome part represent lava flowing down.

Truth be told, I never woud have figured that out on my own.

I really don't know what to make of this guy anymore. Robot mode is pretty good apart from the split spiked glove thing. Combined mode is poor. What's the point to it anyway? It's too bulky to fly. Doesn't provide extra armour. And as far as I can tell there's no extra weaponry. Alt mode is still a mess. Regardless of what it's meant to be, it sucks.

The more pictures I see, the better I feel about my preorder. This is actually pretty cool as he transforms into a volcano as well as having his face be part of it, similar to the shows concept. Also, if you use your imagination (as I believe they intended), the "wings" in volcano mode look like lightning bolts striking down. I for one am excited.

Turns out the so called "combined" mode is actually a "capture" mode.
