Thank goodness I hate most of these...but then again, Blackout looks too evil to just leave on the shelf, and if Ultimate Bumblebee is $60 or under, I will have to snag him. I could not care less about all the electronic crap. I just love the SCALE and all of the details!

I will catch some flack for this, I am sure, but I wish they developed an Ultimate Starscream as well. His buggy face is growing on me...let's just hope at least his charachterization in the film is spot-on, if nothing else.

Oops! Just saw the price: $89.99 MSRP...

I paid less than that for an unmodified MP-05 Megatron ($84.99), I think we have found the next "Ultimate Cheetor", this may just warm shelves after all at that price...but damn! he if f***ing HUGE!

Ultimate Bumblebee, like I said about Marvel comics and their new comic line with the same title Ultimate Sh^%!!
I mean come on, you know that from the legs to mid section he looks okay, with the exception of limited articulation, and then the chest and upper body ruin it, I mean he's got a slab of car hood for a chest, and not to mention no and I mean no, helmet or visor...what gives???plus his arm canon arm looks too small and sumpy, it should be longer..

I'll pass on Ultimate Bumblebee..unless he's on clearence for less money then a pack of yugioh Cards...or however the way you spell it..

I like BB but i think he could hav looked cleaner and if its that big he should hav his viser for battle mode. BTW i think the hood is bulky to I think that is where they put the baterys probly takes like 4 AA later all.

I didn't notice any metal pins in that BB hand.

Unpinned fingers always break off. I can't even clean my house till I find MP Screamers right trigger finger.

I hope they fix that, lots of bots with close joints have the pins and always fair better than those who don't.

Not 100% onto these designs but Brawl is one of the very few toys worth watching (can't say buying cuz butget is too tight around here >_<). I like how his turret gun shows on the hip side in robot mode like Armada Megatron (unintentional?) though I like it better on the deluxe version with the turret on the arm. I wonder what features does this version have. It would be a boomer just to have an oversized version... in the aspect of features. I liek this more than the Ultra version of BM's Jetstorm.

O.K. I will say it again bubblebee is a little bit creepy for my taste. But the big question I have is what is brawl supposed to be.

Hurray for brawl, he deserves a Leader class version of him, and from What I know of the deluxe, it's probably better to get the leader, the deluxe doesn't stay together well.. his arms keep seperating from the front of the body..

But Ultimate bumblebee looks like Ultimate Crap!!! I here is a comparison image:


On the left you see the way the car grill is supposed to seperate and become more of the chest versus just a huge slab of the car front folded down as the chest.. and not to mention the stumpy gun arm, which is way to short and looks like he had his hand shot off and is awaiting it to return like Mazinger!!

The chest is way too Bulky, the arms are ok, but I dislike the gun arm because its too short and not longer then the other arm by a 1/3 of an inch..Instead its shorter then the other arm by 1/3 of an inch.. i think..

The other thing I noticed was the legs look similar to bot mode, Nice feet, good thigh area with the car kibble matching somewhat, and from the review pics ...sport articulation, but they are way to bulky, from the side view you can see it..



Come on, its 2007!!! they should be able to do better then this!!! if you stretched out Bumblebees legs, then this design would be thinner, and look a little closer to the movie bots legs..

The helmet and face... this is where I have constantly voiced my disdain over the fact that they are selling an Ultimate Bublebee with no face sheild option included.. what a joke!! come on!!! its simple build the face sheild into the top head and hasve it so we can pull it down over the face...duh... or give us a head that we can substitute.. but geez..


And one more thing......Bumblbee has BLUE eyes!!! not red.... comeon Hasbro.. do you really expect me to buy it cause it makes noise, and moves a little bit, and has a few phrases from the movie, in which bumblebee is mute??

ion fact I can't stand 1970s Deluxe Bumblebee, his articulation is crap, and I went online and saw they are selling deluxe toys now under "revision 2" which there are minute details about 1970s bumblebee that have been done.. the first run has a black face, the next has silver... and the chest is a little better, but not much.. so if you get the first run deluxe BB its before a revision was made.. be aware!! In my view they need to Revise BB like 20 times till they get him right!
