I think in Shadowmans case, fanboy isn't really a derogative term. I'll proudly admit I'm a fanboy of Microsoft. I love their games and from my standpoint I have no reason to purchase the other systems. However I will always respect what the other companies have done in creating their consoles.

This is......new.....this is like learnign to breathe under wter infact....ive never met people who are PROUD to be a fanboy, ive always considered it derogatory hence why i get so hostile when im called one.

And no i dont do the whole "lolz ur console suckz mine is betteeerrr" thing and i base why i think something is better based on facts, statistics, sales figures, hardware performace and quality of software.

I cant stand the mindless noob fanboy bullshit. If you are gonna argue about something then at least know what you are talking about first, hence why i have done my homework.

So anyway...its good to be a fanboy?

Maybe ive been looking at this the wrong way....damn Gamespot and their community of "lolz ur console sux" fanboy community! (thats where i used to post alot till i got fed up with the nazi moderators, lack of free speech and idiot fanboys.)

Think of Fanboys like Force Users.

There's the Good Fanboys, the Light Side, the Jedi, who are smart and use actual facts and statistics to support their console.

Then there's the Dark Side, the Sith, who use derogatory terms, flames, and blunt force insults to attempt to get a meaningless point across.

As much as i hate Star Wars, that makes sense. Well then, i guess i can be a proper fanboy around here then it seems without fear of moronic "siths" crawling out of the woodwork to flame me.

A) Pokemon ruled my childhood (and still has a decent empire in my life)
B)Ocarina of Time was my first excellent Console Adventure Game
C)I used to be interested in the PSP fore my new handheld, but went with the DS Lite for more varience in titles, including... Pokemon...
D)I'm not into many console games anymore. When I need a long RPG-ish, brain-warping storyline to stimulate my brain, I grab something called a 'book.' So the Wii if anything, because it's cheap (literally), gimmicky, isn't too ingaging, and has every nastalgia-inspiring game Icould have hoped for...

EDIT: However, I do still have a PS2, and GoW and PoP kick ass.

What a way to announce a price cut. The euro announcement was last night, while we didn't get a price drop we now get the ps3 with resistance, motorstorm and a second pad for the same price.

And SCEE confirmed that the 60gb PS3 will no longer be available in America when the current stock is depleted, so if you want a $500 PS3 wait for an actual price drop or buy it NOW, enjoy the non price cut while it lasts.
