I think I'll buy the PSP soon, but for use as more of an mp3/video player, instead of getting an ipod video player or something like that.

Some PSP games I'm interested in are Killzone, Daxter, Lumines, and the 2 Socom games.

Additional features of the psp put it in another league than the ds because of the movie, and music aspect, internet connectivity, as well as additional features that get added with new firmwares. I dont know if DS does the firmware updates like psp because nintendo just started them with the wii.

Exactly. PSP offers console-quality gaming in the palm of your hand, DS is just another gameboy upgrade. If you like "original" games for children with crappy graphics then the DS cant be beat. Like everything Nintendo does is just an upgrade or a gimmick, and the DS is the biggest gimmick of em all (besides the debacle that is the Wii) with the lame touch screen and games (most of which dont even fully use the PDA style feature).

I will say that the PSP has been lacking in the interesting games department in the past, but then again i have been away from the portable gaming scene for some time and i may have missed out on some new and interesting titles. Last PSP game i bought was GTA:VCS (again, another reason to PSP is better, GTA IN YOUR HANDS!), but future titles like God Of War cannot be ignored and by default beat the crap out of ANYTHING the DS has to offer. That said id rather a handheld port over endless lame brain age stupid mario touch screen crap all the time.

Not to forget you can watch transformers on your psp, and listen to "the touch" and look at pics of your transformers collection :p. DS doesnt do that. Then theres the internet and wireless connectivity the PSP has.

In a way, the PSP is the last thing Sony ever did right.

Hey shadowman, looks like im a Sony fanboy as well eh? :P
