Wow, I didn't expect this to be up so soon. I saw the trailer when it was announced, but I thought it wouldn't come out until later.

Though I didn't think they'd use Halo 2 again But then, I didn't know what they'd use as a Blood Gulch replacement. (Valhalla and Standoff are much too different)

And I knew this would be an extension of Blood Gulch Chronicles, since the cat list from the Trailer is the exact same, except with the guy who voiced Washington/Recovery One added.

Meh. Pretty boring. I don't even remember what happened last. And Rooster Teeth is as slow as ever. When we get to see Caboose again then I'll be happy.

Tex finally accepted O'Malley/Omega, being promised a position of power when O'Malley takes over the Alien race encountered throughout the series. She escapes on the Ship that crashed at the end of season 4, which was loaded with Sheila's AI, and Gary/gamma (Though it was against his will) Wyoming's Time-Travel helmet, Tucker's Kid and another Alien, and unknown to Tex, Andy the bomb, who exploded.

Te series ended with life in Blood Gulch going on as usual. And Sarge invented the Mongoose.

Same here, church was always my favorite character. But I'm pretty sure they'll change to halo 3 if the blood gulch guys get out of blood gulch.

I was glad to see it return. I did enjoy the more serious turn the series took there for however long that first episode lasted.

Can't wait for more.

It wouldn't have worked in the long run, though, especially since the series has to focus on Omega, and that would mean dealing with the Blood Gulch guys. Unless they kill everyone there, all of them are way too wacky for a more dramatic series.

Unless, of course, the Blood Gulch soldiers are only here as background, to explain Omega more in-depth, and the series puts it's focus on Recovery One. Church was a lot more serious in Out of Mind, when he only appeared for a moment in a flashback.

Another good episode. When Wash says that it sin't time to celebrate yet, Grif says "Aw, but I was going to be in charge of confetti!"

Which was a reference to RvB episode 2, when Sarge says "That's exactly it, Private. The war's over. We won. Turns out you're the big hero, and we're gonna throw a parade in your honor. I get to drive the float, and Simmons here, IS IN CHARGE OF CONFETTI!!"

So yeah, nice call back.

Wash says that Caboose and the Reds should do some damage to cause a distraction, because Command was where all the the painful scenarios they've had to endure were thought up. This once again points out that everything that happened in RvB wasn't real war, and that they were just test subjects. This was pointed out earlier when Wash demanded to know if anything had happened that wasn't directly preceded by a call to Command, or Command sending them something.

Also, it makes Tucker right. Which reminds me, why hasn't he appeared yet? Tucker, Wyoming, and Donut are the only three who haven't appeared yet. (Not including AIs)

Oh. My. Fragging. God.

The beginning of the episode was okay, the parts with the Reds was okay. The ending had left me with goosebumps.

Spoilers wrote:Wash explains to Church that Alpha was tortured to get the AIs to split from it. Delta was it's Logic, Omega it's rage, Gamma/Gary it's deception, and Epsilon, Wash's AI, it's memory, which is being flashed into Church's mind.

Wash explains that Alpha had been hidden after Command was attacked. Church asks why they're at Command if Wash knew this.

Wash explains that Delta had planned for Church to be seen as a Ghost. Wash says he knows what Church is, even if Church doesn't. He says that's why Church can live without a body, adn why he was placed in Blood Gulch, and why everyone was transferred away from him. Wash remembers that jumping from body to body is a trait from Omega. He explains that it's why Church always tended to agree with Delta, why he had no change when he was possessed in RvB Episode 100, and why he was separated after Blood Gulch.

Wash says to Church: "There's no such thing as Ghosts."

Then he says: "You're one of them. You're an AI. You...are the Alpha."

What an ending!

I saw that last night, the ending was so "OMFG" that I had trouble sleeping. I have to wait a whole week to see what happens in the next episode. And knowing my luck it may be a PSA to torment me for another week.

but there is a little loop hole in the logic: Sarge saw church when he was shot in the head. So sarge could be an AI too, or that's just a loop hole they can't fill in.
