One thing I don't understand is why Megatron was going to allow the Fallen to blow up the sun and kill us all in the last movie, when he has been planning this with Sentinel?
Cause it would've saved their planet/race as well, from getting all the energon from our sun, that's what Megatron said.

SO WHAT?? you guys act like you were the only ones with some inside info and its some ploy to decieve everyone. They want people to go see the movie. Whats to wrong with that??
5150 Cruiser wrote:Starscream GaGa wrote:Nothing's wrong with it, I was just commenting that I found how misleading the trailers have been amusing.
A couple of things..
1- It seems your convinced that the book is a play by play of the full movie. BUt Intill you actually see the movie, (Or you were on set and had part in writing the script) you really cant coment on how "Misleading" the trailers are. And if they are misleading, that just makes it better. Not everyone needs to know everything before hand.
2- Its been proven in the past that the books are not carbon copies of the movie. Things can change real quick.
Its like you take pleasure in taking every opertunity to prove the trailers or any information wrong. I mean do you have to coment on every little aspect? Just go see the movie on the 29th and then coment on whats the same, or different.
Autobot032 wrote: I won't spoil it for you, because it would expose a huge plot point. So, with that kind of restraint, it'll be hard for me to explain it.
The best way I can is this: It's in the comic, the script, the novel and pieces of it are in the trailers and commercials.
Unlike TF1 or ROTF, in which both deviated somewhat from the reading material, this film seems to be following right along with the source material.
Autobot032 wrote: And the characters and scenes we're talking about? So huge, so shocking, so momentous, there's no way it will change once the film hits. When you see it, your jaw will drop, and you will be completely shocked.
Autobot032 wrote: It's not about being know it alls, or knowing secrets, it's about us knowing the truth and when we politely try to tell people they're in for a shock and then come back with a rude demeanor...we get a little pissed..

No this is different, you can't really argue without reading my spoiler tags. These particular scenes are exactly the same as in the adaptations but have been re-arranged to appear to be related to each other.
Shadowman wrote:I will put forth the theory that it was the internet itself trying to punch him in the face.
5150 Cruiser wrote:And if people would say just that, i don't think there would be any problems. But they don't. They go out of their way to argue that what you see in the trailers, isn't whats actually going to take place.
In your defense, you've been alot more subtle about than Starscream GaGa. (sorry to name names, but its true) It seems every time a new clip is posted, still etc, she feels the need to post up a spoiler (she used to do without spoiler tags) and start rants on how Bay is lieing or misleading us. Like she and others like her are deliberately trying to spoil thing for those that want to be surprised.
5150 Cruiser wrote:That pisses me off. Let me believe what i want to believe. If it turns out different than what i was expecting, then thats just going to add to the movie experience. But every time a new trailer comes out i don't need someone trying to tell me play by play what it is, or how its misleading me, or how Bay is lieing, etc. This is supposed to be the best of the 3 movies, and i don't need people trying to prove this wrong with spoilers.

Agreed...one moment.

Ok back. Yeah, ultimately whether a film is spoiled pre-release or not is not the point. Most people will not want to know what happens and it's incredibly rude to disregard that. I've done my best to avoid spoilers and when I must use them, censor them.
Shadowman wrote:I will put forth the theory that it was the internet itself trying to punch him in the face.
5150 Cruiser wrote:Again, thats not the point. Its the rants and constant telling that were being mislead
5150 Cruiser wrote:No its not. Its comon sence that in a trailer thread, people are going to discuss whats in the trailer, not what a seperate book/comic/kids coloring book possibly contradicts. There's a huge difference in speculating from what you see in a trailer/still, then bringing in another source of material.

If people don't wanna be spoiled, then don't read threads related to info on the movie. It's that persons choice whether or not to click on that thread, so being spoiled is a huge possibility cuz there's info related to the movie. Don't wanna be spoiled, don't click on the threads, don't read the information, then there's no reason to complain. Simple as that.

Oh well. people are going to do what they want regardless of it being common courtesy to just let them believe what they want.
