As soon as BBTS gets their preorders up, these are mine. I just cancelled my preorder for Hasbro's version of Grimlock.

Ratbat looks amazing with that paint job (much like the United version of Scourge did).

FYI, if Ratbat does come to the US, it won't have that shiny metallic purple paint. It will be the typical drab plastic.

Everybody likes the wings tilted down to resemble G1 Scourge. If the transformation only allowed the "proper" straight winged look the figure would have been an epic fail.

On Ratbat, it's a big maybe. I kind of like the Target repaint better. That mold makes the character more unique while this mold really just makes him a purple Scourge.

not sure if i want to spend 65 bucks for Grimlock. I thought the USD-YEN conversion rates has been getting better? bet these e-tailers are just ripping us off...

Indeed!

How long ago was it that we first saw that head reported here? Two, three years, maybe? Something like that? :-?

And it's TakaraTomy throwing the curve ball this time around. In fact, a Classics-style mold in a mostly WFC/FOC-based line? They've got a nice sized gearbox. :lol:

Thing is, this will influence my decision of a humanoid Ratbat: the Universe 2008 one, based on Cybertron Sideways, or this one?

Doesn't anybody find it ironic Ratbat's now really connected to Scourge via BotCon 2009 Scourge? ;)

I hope that TakaraTomy starts also a Toy campaign where they bring more IDW comic characters out like Senator Ratbat. :D And for TakaraTomy FOC Grimlock, I hope he comes with his red hips and not like the Hasbro one with the light yellow which doesn't be so accurate from the game...
