The Autobots also have Omega Supreme, even though neither him nor Metroplex transform into the Ark. ;)

Agreed. It's a great opportunity to think outside the box when it comes to these guys and get a little crazy.

Well, there are only three other confirmed crew members (in the novel), plus a Decepticon: Cannonball, Sandstorm, Brimstone and Axer. So it's possible some of them may have beast forms.
We at least know that Axer is a motorcycle (since he was a Decepticon at first), and that Brimstone is some kind of avian beast a la Cybertron Brimstone. BotCon 2011 showed us a look at Aligned Brimstone from the Binder, which revealed him to be like a more meched-out version of Cybertron Brimstone.

I think they also showed us Cannonball, but I don't remember what he looked like. Not sure if they showed us Sandstorm or not. Definitely didn't show us the Tidal Wave.

Isn't that a remold of FoC Optimus Prime?
Yeah but... it's uh... not... a white Optimus...

The words "white Optimus" aren't present in Mechastrike's post. ;)

No, sorry. Like in 2010, when Hasbro pulled out the Binder material in the slideshow, they said "no photography or your outta here".

Axer being a motorcycle comes from his description in Exiles, and Brimstone's altmode comes from mental recollection.

Yeah, found that ban navigating through various TF sites.

This is from TFW2005 (edited by me, as it had Axor and Exodus in the final point):

"Exiles Book
- Follows on from Exodus, and is set against the backdrop of the search for the Allspark.
- There will be some exploration of lost colonies of Transformers hinted at in Exodus. There will also be some more information on the 13 within the book.
- A new, major threat to the Transformers Universe will be introduced in Exodus. Concept art of their faction symbol is a variation on the Decepticon symbol which looks like a skull and crossbones.
- Concept artwork (Prime style) of these characters was shown and includes Brimstone, the Transformers Cybertron character reimagined, Cannonball again of Transformers Cybertron, and Axer, based on the Action Master. Axer will apparently play a major role in the conclusion of Exiles."

Oh well. I shall sit and wait.

Nah, not a fan of repaints. I'm considering getting rid of PRiD Wheeljack for Deadend, so two identical figures in different colours is a no-no. [-(

Different weapons, though. ;)

Plus it adds to the ranks of the Decepticons, who could always use some more named individuals. ;) ;)

I am going to get both purely because they are twins on the show, hence why I would force myself to get any repaint of SideSwipe called Sunstreaker.
It also appears clear to me that Thundertron's right back foot (the peg leg one) becomes a claw for robot mode (on his left arm), so i guess you can just leave it on his leg if you want. I seem to remember Hasbro saying something about the peg leg being optional at BotCon

Well first we need to figure out why IRL biological organisms can't (yet) build new limbs, then see if it may in fact apply to alien robots. Maybe their nanotech "blood" rejects them, or other instances where they don't know how to manipulate their own bodies that well.

Starscream seems to lose his arm all the time in multiple continuities (ROTF and Prime off the top of my head), and yet some, like Armada Red Alert cannot replace his hand.
Plus in G1 they seem to just 'build' new transformers whenever they feel like it? :-?

I'm pretty sure Transformers tech work differently from continuity to continuity. Though it's mostly speculation on how different they are till it's explained.

In G1, TFs seem like robots in the simplest form. As in a bunch of metal parts welded together on a skeleton frame that has an A.I. built in(though some shots of their inner parts, not to mention the volume shifting and intricate transformations they pull off belie this notion)

In the Bayverse, maybe the TFs could regenerate limbs with enough energon intake. They seem more "organic" than TFs of other universes, as they have parts that seem grown naturally rather than put together.

Plus, it might be easier to put an arm or foot back on than it is to make a new one then try putting it on.

That's what bothers me about the peg-leg. They can easily replace limbs in Prime, I don't know why anyone would go around with a poor substitution. Plus it's a corny pirate cliche, right up there with hook hands and the "ahoy matey" talk.

Don't forget that the time period during which he appears in the fiction is millions and millions of years ago. and that he isn't from Cybertron, but another planet (Animatron, maybe?) and has been roaming outer space for a good long while searching for Cybertronians to bring down his vengeful wrath upon. So, given the point in time and situation he's in, his resources are probably very limited, and thus he'd have to make do with what he can.

Plus, his vernacular is definitely not of the stereotypical pirate talk. He speaks more like some kind of aggressive upperclassman with a violent grudge driving his actions. He can be civil and negotiable when the mood suits him, but get on his bad side and beware his temper.

Don't Transformers: Evolution take place on present-day Earth? With what looks like Earth modes of Bruticus and Defensor and all. The Star Seekers are (correct me if I'm wrong) the main enemy in that game, so logically if Optimus and Megatron are in the game somewhere, Thundertron should be too.

On a related note, I still have hope for TFE to have a domestic version. Lots of Chinese MMORPGs already get domestic versions(see Perfect World Entertainment's games), so even if we're getting Jagex's game, we still might get TFE as well.

Evolution? You mean Transformers: Online, right?

Maybe. I'm not certain if they are the main enemies, but it's possible. I think you can play as all three factions.

Though, I was mostly speaking of when he appeared in Exiles. As for his appearance in this game, maybe he just didn't bother. Or, maybe he wants to use his peg leg as a symbol to further his anti-Cybertronian propaganda.

There are going to be two different MMOs. One for Asia (Transformers: Online), and one for (at least) the U.S. (Transformers: Universe).
