I gotta say I liked this episode, but had some issues.

When did Tygra sneak away to get the tank?
Why is Grune so stupid? Clancy Brown is the greatest villain voice in cartoons, and Grune turns out to be beyond stupid. He's just standing there looking out into the nothingness while Tygra drives the tank up the cliff and shoots missiles at the lizards who also do nothing, and then he somehow manages to let Lion-O take the sword from him. How?

Tygra seems to harbor resentment for something that apparently never happened. I mean he says he feels invisible to Cheetara, but in the flashback he hides behind the big column?

He never does anything else to have Cheetara want to be with him either other than mope.

Jaga is a douche.

Why did I like this episode again? Oh, yeah the fight scene was decent.

Well, he was flirting with her in Episode 1. Tygra snuck away to get to the tank at the same time he said "Now I make my move", when he realised that Lion-Os plan wasn't working.

I still don't get why the elephants have such a short memory, when real elephants are the exact opposite.

There's also the issue of who gets to be king. Lion-O spends his whole life slacking off and not even trying, and he's still chosen to be king over Tygra, who has been putting in effort. You'd harbor some resentment, too.

Because it's funny, is my guess. Also, real elephants can't talk; I don't think comparing the in-series animals to their real-life counterparts works out.

Hmm seems I missed that part. If he did say so, I guess that works.

I can buy that but he would be resentful with Lion-O which is quite clear yes. Not with Cheetara I don't think, any way.

If the last woman in your entire civilization, who you've harbored feelings for since childhood, who also happens to be smokin' hot, instead gravitated towards your idiot younger brother who was already given more than he deserved, how would you feel about it?

i figured it was to be ironic, since this show is kinda targeted at the hipster generation

What does anything on this show have to do with hipsters? I thought it was targeted at kids, and people who watched the show as kids, just like Transformers has been doing.

But usually cartoon animals are given superimposed or over the top characteristics of their real life animal counterparts. Which is what makes the elephants in the show so odd to me, since their main species characteristic they have is the exact opposite of their real life counter parts.

It's still hilarious though.

 Very True, you got a chuckle out of me with that one.

I was happy with the episode although I agree Tygra's dinkness is going to lead to something 'bad', as the elephant alluded too.

Also, Tygra made it a point to explain how his invisibility has not been considered his most strong quality (after Cheetara pointed out what a strength it was). In fact, he seems to feel that everyone in his life easily overlooks him, which is why he was able to sneak away to get the tank... Grune and the lizards were overlooking his absence.

Did Grune go into the astral plane? That's where he was in the original Tcats series, so I though maybe he would end up there.

I can't hate or love this show, but I do on demand it so I can see what they have done to bring certain ideas in from the original series. Still waiting for the Lunatics, the pirates, Safari Joe, Hachiman, and the Snow Man of Hook Mountain (and Snow Meow). And I really want to see Jackalman come back.

The episode description said he'd end up fighting Lion-O, but then that was for the previous episode, so who knows. I seriously doubt this is going to end without the two of them coming to blows.

I think it's fair that Tygra gets Cheetara. Why not right? He needed a break. He was way too tense.

Lion-O has everything else, so yup. Tygra can finally shed his homosexual theorists.

Good to see Mumm-ra back in action. And yes, it was also nice to have Grune go to the astral plane. Surprised there was no Jaga there.

So will the Berbils make Panthro new mechanical arms? That was way harsh!

We will see Grune again and I feel Panthro one day will get his real arms back..I hate the story though with a stupid love triangle

Now this episode I liked.

Great character development between Tygra and Lion-O. The Flashback was very well integrated, and it did offer an unexpected turn.

I was expecting Cheetara to choose Panthro. From the moment she said "she already had (chosen)" I knew it.

The ending was definitely not child friendly. As someone already said that was very harsh with Panthro.
