How do you figure? These are Japanese toys for the United toyline, not Generations. And, we already got these toy molds in the Energon, Cybertron, and Beast Wars 10th Anniversary toylines.

but you kind of made my point we've seen these at least 3 times but the kiddies havent. and hasbro has the tendency of following takaras lead so it just wouldnt suprose me if we saw these released again at some point we did get 2 cyclonus and 2 versions of rodimus not to mention rts bb and his original classics counterpart, as well as the legacy of bb 3 pack.and those molds are fairly recent compared to these 4.

I don't think a Deluxe's head on a Voyager's body would look all that good.

damn, its a deluxe. Ok thanx for the answer. I gotta a custom in mind in this style of "not quite Prime" Optimus looking head would be perfect for. Is there a voyager version of this figure any way?

the original one was big. maybe a bit bigger than voyager sized though. It's been a long time since I had one in-hand. head isn't really the same though.

The only Voyager (or rather, Mega) class-sized Optimus Primal molds there are the Transmetal Optimus Primal toy:


And the Blast Punch Optimus Primal toy:



Oh, and there's also the BotCon 2006 Timelines "Dawn of Future's Past" Axalon Optimus Primal, which is a remold of the Cybertron Voyager Crumplezone figure.

The original was an Ultra, which is larger than Voyager.

I'm glad to have passed on them all. Primal has no more deco than the previous release. Less even. I can't believe they added more deco to the useless surfboard over the actual figure. Megatron looks ok but nothing to make me replace what I feel is the superior deco from BW Anniversary. Axalon does nothing for me. I got exactly what I wanted from the mold from Botcon. This deco was just boring IMO. Finally, Unicron. I'm reminded I should sell the Cybertron version I already own. The only reason I haven't is that he's part of the club fiction in that form. I thought it was an okay figure for that time but that ship sailed. There have been better. This was no improvement.

Hate to correct you there, but the Ultras of yesteryear are today's Voyagers. I have my Universe 2003 Optimus Primal next to my Cybertron Galaxy Force Vector Prime, and they're the same size.
