my contribution to this thread comes in the form of a question. If i was (ok i am) looking for a g1 rumble and a g1 frenzy, is there anything blatantly distingquishing them from the countless KO's found on ebay?

I really like those robot master knockoffs. Look like something you'd see at a Big Lots. I hope I see them soon. I also see the seller is selling knockoffs of the laser cycles. Cool!

Those cassettes make me smile. I think it's funny that they have Squawktalk and not Beastbox.

I wish I had a camera right now so I could post pics of the dollar store Prime figure I have. It has a "light-up" feature which is just a tiny christmas tree light in the chest. The first time I saw it, I couldn't stop laughing for three hours.

Actually, it's an LED, not a christmas tree light.

I know, but that's not as funny. It's also the shitiest LED I've ever seen.

Your right, they do look like Big Lots figures! I hope they get them as well.

Oh yeah, and if anyone's wondering, the quality on 2/3 Devastator is actually pretty good for a KO, minus the waist piece, which was put in too tight, and almost broke when I first disasembled him. And Sixwing has good quality too. I also have Sixbuild, and might take some pics of him later, for the thread.

Anyway, I have a question regarding the Predaking Knockoff. Hows the Plastic quality? I've been meaning to get one of those, but wasn't sure how the plastic holds up.

How does it hold together, and besides the gnarly white color scheme on some limbs is it pretty accurate to the original?

How accurate is the KO Predacons: Predaking is to the real Predaking?

The quality of the plastic is impressive compared to the other KO's you see during Easter time at Wal-Mart, K-Mart, Meijers or what you find on eBay. The plastic is very solid, hard and the weight of the figures is nearly identical to the real G1 Predacons: Predaking. A few problems with the figures are that some of the limbs are really tight and need to use a little force to move them. Also a very few of the limbs are loose and I had to tighten the screws to tighten the limbs up. The figures are held together similar to your typical Gestalts except for the legs. Razorclaw has a stump behind his legs that snaps towards the back of Rhino and Bull animal heads. When the figures are in Predaking mode it's tight and none of the limbs are showing no signs of falling off or disconnecting. I didn’t like how they used 2 different color schemes for the figures and the stickers are applied pretty well. The paint on the swords can be easily scratched off, but over all a really impressive KO of a original G1 Predacons: Predaking without spending $200 for the gift set. My fiancee from the Philippines bought me these for Valentines Day...

Great, thanx for the Info. I'll see if I can score one of them.

Picked up both ko primes from the dollar tree. They're actually really cool. Poseable, while being new sculpts. The only downisde is they don't really transform, you just pull the pieces off. Otherwise they're awesome and the chest glow really adds to it, for a buck these are perfect for underpriveled children to own a figure of such an iconic character. To be honest I like these more than some real transformers I've gotten recently. I give them a 4/5, they just need to actually transform next time, for the price I shouldn't really complain. I might buy a whole bunch for my future kids, let them destroy these and then graduate to getting a real Prime toy.

I've got half a dozen of the Dollar Store Primes, and have repainted most of 'em as "generics".

One however is vaguely Optimus painted-like, and the other is Inverse - blue torso, red legs, etc.

Here's an Ebay listing if anyone wants a cool Quake KO. I have him myself and he's a little stiff in the transformation but he is very cool. No Tip Top and Heater though.

Other cool KO's are the oversized Robotmasters Wrecker Hook, Wingstun and Jetfire. The jets are similar in size to the G1 seekers and Wrecker Hook towers nicely over G1 Prowl.

Also, if you can find it and then afford it, I can't recommend oversized Bruticus enough. It's a sad day when a KO surpasses the original. If only they did the same to Menasor, Defensor and Abominus.

Toyhell has a cool KO oversized Superion that's as large if not larger than Predaking.

They also have a load of cool KO's quite reasonably priced.

If any knows where to get an oversized RM Air Hunter could they please tell me.

Would love to see those oversized RM molds in the Machine Wars, Beast Wars and RID colour schemes.

Oh yes, last year saw a large KO of Machine Wars Thundercracker. Has anyone else seen this and do you know where to get one?

Finally, would love to get that Machine Robo 44 Magnum that inspired Actionmaster Treadshot.

Oddly, I find I get more excited these days about KO's than actual TF's, especially oversized. Anyone else get like this?

I just now decided to spring for this oversized and electronic KO Soundwave. Has anyone else seen him?

http://cgi.ebay.com/Oversized-KO-Hong-K ... dZViewItem

I can't tell if the tapes are of the size as the other knockoffs that've been circulating, but if they are, that means this guy seriously does stand with the Masterpieces. I'll get a kick outta that!

Edit: Ah, here we go.

http://kenscollection.com/catalog/image ... horn-2.jpg

He should be taller than an Alt, but not as tall as MP Prime. Maybe MP Starscream-sized? That would be appropriate.

Check out this Trgnsfirmers toy - yes, that's how it's spelt!

It's Cybertron Optimus, shrunk on a card, which says Armada and Robot Masters on it.

Greattoys' ebay shop usually has Ko Predaking for sale. Bought a set from them a few weeks ago. Tried now but it's the first time in months that they don't have it listed. It does have Razorclaw and another individual KO Predacon. Suggest you contact the seller. Like I said, they usually have the full set listed.

Thats not really a knockoff though, as Takara owns Microman.

Also, I'd warn against the wstf devastator, although of (marginally) better quality than the larger ko version, mine had one very glaring omision, it was missing longhaul's head....
