Its kind of like Basic Instinct, but not in a good way...
Goddammit, now I can't unsee it.
I'll say none. He'll probably just go into stasis lock to keep him online for as long as possible, so he can come back with a new body without dying. Otherwise, they'd be cheapening death by having a dead guy come back to life, which is something the show's creators have been firmly against doing.RAcast wrote:All right guys and gals, let's start the betting! How long will Prime stay dead?
Considering how Cybertron was already dead long before the show even began, there was nothing to lose back when he saved the Earth at the cost of the Omega Lock.BeastProwl wrote:So he's putting "the fate of his kind" above the fate of just one? Would have been a good mindset to have back on Cybertron before he screwed it to save a few kids. I get why he had to, but its made this scene's wording feel a bit out of place.

Really? 'Cause the base blew the hell up on his ass. Normally, anyone inside of the blast radius would be extra crispy bacon.
At least he appears to be in better condition than Megatron was after the Space Bridge explosion, since he's aware of his surroundings and he can communicate.

He could pass the rank and the Matrix onto the person he deems worthy of being the next Prime. Why Jack was previously considered an "Honorary Prime" back at the start of season 2.Manterax Prime wrote:Anyhow, how is there supposed to be a "new" Prime if Optimus is the last of them.

Holy smokes... umm after looking at the packaging art for the face, I have to say you have made a very good point. Would be strange if Smokescreen pulls a movie Jetfire and sacrifices himself to be parts for Optimus.
