Bought an Evasion Mode OP at New Hope Church Rd. Walmart in Raleigh. It was the only AOE toy on the shelf. Was able to buy it no problem, rang up at 24.96. Dumb store had it on clearance, too bad the price wasn't marked down at all

Judging from the sightings on DerpFW2005 it looks like the Charlotte area has some stuff cropping up.

Looks like movie season is upon us boys! :michaelbay: Happy Hunting!

I'll try and stop at my local TRU on the way home today and see what's up with them. Also Rite Aid today after school, since I never got to do that yesterday.

I found Evasion Optimus Prime and Voyager Grimlock at my local Wal-Mart in Winston-Salem, NC off Hanes Mall Blvd. They had two each on the shelf. I bought one each at $24.96.

Super impressed. Plastic is sturdy, paint is on smoothly (though I wish there were a bit more of it), everything is tight, the height is right on, the transformation is complex but not too much so, and did I mention the plastic quality? Because it's better than anything on any mainline release I've held in awhile.

The only thing I don't like is the face, but they're making a faceplate version so whatever. I also despise clear light piping, it makes things so soulless! But yeah, overall, very happy and I'm gonna go out later and try to find a Grimlock.

I'm glad you like him. I agree on all your points..the thing that I had a little bit of an issue with was his arms. I wanted some elbow articulation and also when transforming him into truck mode the arms can be a bit of a pain. It's nothing too major though. He's a very solid toy.

If you see any AOE toys around please let us know.

Yeah the arms are a bit tricky, absolutely have to flip them up to be the top of the truck before you fold up the front end, even though the front end then tabs in under pieces already in place. Not horrible but a little tricky.

A double jointed elbow would have really been something, as it is there's just the one joint in the upper forearm that acts as the elbow articulation. It's mostly serviceable but I agree that a true elbow would have been nice to have.

I also found Optimus Prime and Grimlock at Wal-Mart in Albany, GA. Bought Prime, left Grimlock.

Bought a Flip n' Change Grimlock at the Kildaire Farm Rd. Walmart in Cary today. There are three left and no other AOE toys there. It's a kid's toy all the way, with nothing but elbow articulation in either mode, but for $20 the size is excellent.

I bought an Evasion Mode Optimus at the Walmart by Concord Mills. They also had a couple of voyager Grimlocks.

Saw Age of Extinction Construct-Bots Drift and Lockdown at the Wilmington Toys "R" Us. Speaking of Construct-Bots, they had the Optimus Prime vs. Megatron set for a whopping $15. I haven't bothered to get any sets, but now that it's this low, I might get it just to see how they are. If I like them, it's a good thing the smaller sets are also on clearance!

TTC Walmart has Dinobot Constructbots and Dinobot Riders Constructbots. Rang up just fine, no problems. A bit more than one full set of each left.

TTC TRU had the Dino Sparkers, I was able to buy no problem but the manager had to override it, I think they sent someone to put the others away in the back.

Finally got around to checking out my local Rite Aid. They had a single Beast Hunters Bumblebee, a couple Legions, and bafflingly, Revenge of the Fallen Dune Runner. No Reveal the Shield were to be seen. :(

Found AOE Deluxe Crosshairs at the Brier Creek Wal-mart, and Scorn and Slug at the Glenwood Ave Wal-mart. New Hope Church Rd Wal-mart also had AOE deluxes on the shelf.

Finally found a Leader Grimlock that didn't have any blemishes on his chrome chest (that I could tell) at the Hwy 54 Wal-mart.

The TTC TRU still has three Dino Sparkers on the peg.

Good news/bad news time... Good news, the Brier Creek and TTC Wal-marts are carrying Generation Legend figures again. Bad news, it's all OP and the 'bee, enough to build an army with.

Nice, will check out New Hope Ch. Rd. later on. Went to Walmart in Zebulon and got a Leader Prime and Dlx. BB and Crosshairs, but all the Dinobots had been bought already.

Went by the New Hope Church road Walmart this morning, picked up the last Scorn and Slug. There are 2 Crosshairs and 1 Bumblebee left. No other AOE toys there.

North Hills Target has Cosmos and Swerve, but at the time I picked them up this morning, they're still in the back room. All that was on the pegs were Starscream and Megatron, but when I scanned SS at the price scanner, it said they had stock in the back, so I asked the employee in electronics to check for me, and he came back out with one of each for me. So they have them, just they're in the back and I have no idea how many exactly are left. Didn't want to pester the guy too much after he was nice enough to help me.

Also, NHCR Walmart now has one less Crosshairs since I had to replace the one I got the other day. Sometimes I hate the type of connection joints Hasbro uses to hold one panel to another. But otherwise, Crosshairs is a good toy and for some reason, he reminds me greatly of BM Rattrap.

Yes, very recently, but hell if I remember where it was. Could always do this while they have free shipping: http://www.hasbrotoyshop.com/transforme ... 7&ID=32528

Over the weekend I got Leader Prime and Leader Grimlock. I like Prime more than I thought I would. He isn't a perfect figure by any means, but overall he's fun.

I haven't opened Leader Grimlock yet. Honestly, after looking at the reviews, and seeing how Peaugh felt about it, I think I may just return him. I have the voyager, and he's cool enough that I may just stick with that.

I also picked up the Grimlock construct bot and 2 of the little dino rider guys (optimus and lockdown). They're all pretty cool for the pricepoint. They make good desk toys to fiddle with.

Besides Scorn and Slug (or whatever his name is) I am done with all the initial releases for AOE. I may end up getting Crosshairs at some point, and later on Hound and Drift.

Grabbed the only Leader Grimlock from New Hope Ch Rd Walmart in Raleigh. There is still a Leader Prime.

Probably not going to post sightings starting tomorrow of Wave 1 AOE stuff because it should be -everywhere- in quantity. Wave 2 though, if it shows up (doubtful), I'll post about.

Well, looks like everything is not, in fact, everywhere. Here's some stuff from the past couple days:

Saturday

- TTC Walmart - some Dinobot Constructbots and otherwise bare pegs.
- Cary TRU - A little bit of everything Wave 1 of AOE. Only 2/4 Kreo Microchanger combiners were there when I left. Probably a good time to note I have not seen the blind bagged Kreo or the building sets at all, anywhere, so far.
- Cary Target - Some Voyagers, Leaders, and Deluxes. Also had the little plush guys who are awesome.
- North Hills Target - Some Voyagers and not much else.

Today

- TTC TRU - still most everything Wave 1 AOE, they do have the 4 Kreo combiners in the Kreo section. No Evasion Mode Primes and only one Leader Prime remaining. Deluxes and Power Battlers are picked over but still at least one full set of each.
- TTC Target - Do not waste your time unless you wanna pick through clearance Beast Hunters stuff.

There are NO, I repeat absolutely no Wave 2 figures out like there was when DotM launched. No Drift, no Galvatron, no Hound, no Strafe, etc.
