ugh, robots that transform into organic beasts, only made sense in Beast Wars because there were no machine's around yet. But Beasts and Machines?
That's what made me stop watchin the first time around!
and.. Pirates?
We already had Zombies
The only thing we need left is a sweet Emo vampire bot.. maybe Rat-Bat will show up with a Cure CD and some sweet trench coats.
Then Season four will Have Wierd Wolf, a challenged teen bot who must
leave at midnight to avoid the anger of his teenage angst, and turn into a beastly yet sensitive Werewolf.

but... but... but... PIRATE!
I know, but it just looks tacky to me. It's not the fun kind of stupid, just the stupid kind of stupid. Now I understand why some people were upset about Movie Jetfire having a cane.
A pirate without a pegleg? That's like a pirate without a pegleg!
Oh that's it, I'm ragequitting the fandom FOWEVAH!
Then you're not going to click on this link right?
No. No I won't.

This Predaking is about as organic as the original Predaking.

Why do I get the feeling that just because G1 started with vehicle modes is the reason for most of the hate towards beast modes?
If you've read Exodus, wanna read the War For Cybertron comic? PM me.

I don't understand how Dinobots and Insecticons = OMG I MUST HAVE IT YESTERDAY, but any other beast-Transformer = WTF HASBLOW, I QUIT FOREVER! (especially considering the fact beast-formers have been in every series in one form or another)
I get "beast-formers have lazy transformations", "organic robots are just weird", and other rational reasons, or just plain preference of vehicles over beasts, but the extreme negative reactions are just absurd.

That and the fact that beastformers have been less prevalent than vehicleformers through most of the franchise. People like what they're used to. Personally, I welcome our new beast overlords.

Me personally, if they make appearances in the show, I make an effort to buy the version that's most in-scale (i.e Deluxe Bumblebee over Weaponizer Bumblebee). So for me, I have no preference over which type of Transformer pops up, as long as their toys are 70% decent. I won't take crap like Airachnid.
Many thanks to Godzillabot Primal for this epic signature!*
