NYCC 2012 Coverage Begins: Transformers Prime Predaking and "Beast Hunters" Logo Revealed

Seibertron is on site for the NYCC 2012 Preview Night and we already have our first images! We get our first look at the Transformers Prime Season 3 "Beast Hunters" logo and a new Leader Class Transformers Prime figure with a beast alt mode. According to Seibertron, " Looks larger than Cybertron Scourge Flame Convoy" and is the "Predaking part of Predacon family" Check it out below and stay tuned for more coverage.

TRUKK NOT DRAGGON!

So I wonder if this will be a change that forces the writers to diddle with the plot (a la Transmetals) or if this will be toy line only.

Also, I wonder how this ties into Thundertron.

Looks kinda cool, but I was hoping for something that looked a lot more 'Beast Wars' and a lot less 'Beast Machines' or 'Cybertron'.

Still, Beastformers is Beastformers, so I'm in :).

Interesting..... I admit I'm a little apprehensive about returning to animal themed alt-modes, but hopefully Hasbro and Takara have learnt quite a bit in the last nearly two decades.

Isn't Beast Hunters meant to be taking the spotlight in PRIME season 3?

EDIT: Having looked at the close up photos pointed out by Sabrblade I'm impressed by it and already can't wait to not be able to find at retailer near me.

No idea. I've barely been following the cartoon, it bores me to tears. Anything that overhauls it is fine by me.
