I really recommend talking to this guy if you go! He was really awesome when I met him at ECCC and loved talking Transformers. Great guy to support!

Completely agree with you! I met him in June at Amazing Las Vegas Comic Con, and he is an awesome guy. Easy to talk to, a big fan and a bigger fan of fans! Total class act all the way! I actually wasn't a huge fan of his art style, but after talking to him for a couple hours at the Con, I have an all new opinion... Great guy!

That's awesome! Nothing worse than trying to talk to some one and you can tell the guy hates fans and your stupid questions too! At least this guy as you said is a big fan and fan of fans

Yeah I know. I've met a few guys who you can tell they're there because it's their job. But then there's others who appreciate the fandom and show it. The best term I ever heard was "fan of fans". LVCC was my first ever Con so I was full of Con-Haze, amazement, etc. and I was amazed at how some of the artists/writers acted. Jim Lee, Stan Lee, Humberto Ramos .. All there because it's a job. Livio, Ryan Stegman (Supior Spiderman artist) and Gerry Duggan (Deadpool author) were hands down some of the coolest guys I've ever met in the comic industry. They truly respect and appreciate fans support. (And I totally understand how some fans can be insanely annoying lol)

Haha enjoy it man, it's a trip! I'm aiming for WonderCon next year with an ultimate goal of scoring SDCC tix. It's alot of fun, and most of the people are flat out great! But don't worry, if I ever met Prime, I'd squeal and pass out haha. You@43 not the only one. The biggest advice I can give you is to go prepared. Make sure you know who is going to be there, and bring what you want signed. Do everything you can to end it with no regrets or wishing you'd remembered something haha. Just enjoy the time there and give yourself time to just walk around and drool lol.

Trust me, there will be ZERO reason to be embarrassed. You will fit right in, don't worry about being dressed up, enjoy the fact you are because everyone else will be loving it. These are the one place you're allowed to look like that and it's encouraged haha. One thing I can tell you is that if you're into comics/games other than just Transformers, bring a backpack for books/gear you want signed. Carrying around a bag is annoying lol. Backpacks are the way to go! And obviously make sure you have some cash because no matter how hard you try not to, you WILL find stuff to buy so you will need a backpack to carry all the extras. If you're going all weekend, Sunday is deal day because booths want to carry less home.

Dang, nice work man! Be sure to get some pics, I'd love to see them! And yeah, a backpack is probably your most important piece of Con Equipment lol. Be sure you have comfortable shoulder straps too (after 3 days at ALVCC, my shoulders were bruised because mine sucked haha). And impulse buying is out of line dangerous there. A month later and I'm still recovering, but every dime was worth it!

They truly respect and appreciate fans support. (And I totally understand how some fans can be insanely annoying lol)

This will be my first con so i realy hope I'm not one of those fans that don't shut up haha.I've heard that kevin conroy (voice of batman in animated series and arkham games) along with peter cullen (don't think i have to say who THAT is) are two of the nicest guys you could meet. ill prob be on the floor in shock when i get there. but if i ever meet prime himself I'm might end up completly screaming like a girl....i can't wait to hear what other artist will be there.the one you mention are some great ones

THANKS MAN that's a good idea! SDCC is something ill never understand....thousands of ppl go...but you can never seem to get tickets! abd i will be sure just to stand there and stare like doofus partialy drooling pn my self at all the goodies lol. might be kinda embarrassing for some ppl to see a fully grown man dressed in an assassins creed costume jumping up and dpwn out of excitement buuuuut oh well...Haha

LOL I'm more worried about embarrassing OTHER ppl when i start drooling cuz i often go to stores like walmart and others in full costume lol ppls faces are priceless. i look a lot like the character ezio auditore da firenze from assassins creed in the face so ppl always nknow who i am..(I've cosplayed over 12 characters so far) that's a REALY good idea to bring a back pack...and LOTS of cash...i know i won't be able to controll my self...impulse buyer lol...my bad habit..

THANKS! ill be sure to do that! i have some pic of my work in progress armor of altair assassins outfit...but you know not quite done yet...i heard of this one guy spent 17000 dollars on a prototype boba fett at chicago wonder con i think it was? so i might have to take a set amount of cash over the course of the stay...and sundays deal day huh?? hmmmmmmm
if you have something to say nows the perfect time to keep it to your self.

Bubbah wrote:Completely agree with you!

Oh yeah, some people spend more than I spend on a car lol. It's insane! And then others wear a cardboard box that's painted haha. And yeah, Sundays are usually the days dealers will sell stuff for cheaper because they don't want to go home with unsold inventory. It becomes a negotiators dream :)
