My only gripe is TT's continues use of regular pins as supposed to spring dowel pins.

Paintwork is 'shonky' because they most likely are indeed hand-painted (resin?) prototypes, probably on a mono-chrome model. Likewise, the rivets on Ravage seem badly assembled, once again due to these being hand-assembled samples, and not the finished, factory-fresh products.

I wasn't gonna buy MP-10B but the paint job on this is absolutely amazing. Depending on price, I may add this to my collection. Rumble and Frenzy look a little thin in the legs though there really isn't a way around that.

In the end, this all boils down to our ability to purchase the products. And of course the Q.C. TomyTakara employs on their products. If this turns out to be another Hotrodimus :BANG_HEAD: ...........

The pics btw are prototypes. A lot more could be improved for the final product though I suspect this IS the final form. As for those critiques on the design, I really doubt it will be feasible to make an actual anime accurate product without compromising some parts/details. so we have to live with skinny legs for the two hooligan cassettes brothers.

I'm guessing that is where the weapons store when he is in tape mode. Also, I'm hoping the pile drivers become batteries and store in the battery slot of Soundwave.

Those cassette minions are looking really awesome, but the price is still ridiculous for what you are getting. I'm betting Hasbro will release MP Soundwave w/all cassette minions sometime next year for SDCC - that's when I'll make my purchase.
