See those little guys by his feet? They're about the size of humans (or maybe a tad larger in these bodies, but just a bit). Now imagine an average sized Autobot or Decepticon standing with them all in that picture.
Conclusion: There is nothing wrong with the size of this toy.
We don't need a bigger Tankor toy. What we need are smaller Maximal toys.

I like your spin!
You can argue that because he's the size of Classics Bee, the toy should be about double the height to be in scale with that picture. But I don't care all that much... as an army of drones, they will serve their purpose.

Eh, justify it all you want, Tankor being a Deluxe just doesn't work for me.
... unless they make Cyberverse/Legend versions of the other Vehicons/BM bots. *hint hint, Hasbro*

Unless G1 Bumblebee was the size of Tankor in the continuity of the BM cartoon.
It's kinda like how Titanium Optimal Optimus is scaled decently to other Autobot and Decepticon toys, as he only towered over other Maximals and Predacons.

Clever reasoning for sure & as someone who cares about scale a little, I appreciate it. But, based on Spike's size compared to Bee's in the G1 cartoon, I still think Tankor should be bigger than classics Bee.

Hence my use of "the continuity of the BM cartoon" over other continuities we actually saw G1 Bee in.

Yeah, you're trying to make it work & that's all that matters. I'll buy him. I'll just make sure he isn't anywhere near United Frenzy/Rumble. He'd feel really bad then.

I've been saying the smaller Cyberverse/Commander/Legends size would be great for some BW bots (okay maybe Scout size for the bigger guys really) but the problem is they'd probably end up really poor because of how the transformations are.
assembling a Neo-G1/TF:TM cast. Please PM if you have (or know of) the following at a reasonable price: Classics or Henkei Astrotrain, Sunstreaker, Sideswipe, or 3rd Party iGear Ratchet and Ironhide.
Also looking for Universe Repugnus and Overbite, Frostbite and Longhorn and any Webdiver toys.

I don't mind their deluxe size because I don't put them with my classics figures. The Beast Wars cast has a shelf to themselves. Too important to me personally to hide among everyone else.

Most likely, Tankor is his own character now. IDW has had a general rule of "no upgrading anyone into anyone else" right now. Galvatron isn't Megatron. Cyclonus isn't Bombshell or Skywarp. Scourge isn't Thundercracker. Goldbug isn't Bumblebee, though Bumblebee did get a brief Goldbug or "Goldfire" makeover recently, Goldbug is still himself a separate character established earlier in the ongoing series.

It's definitely been a while, but we can finally report an official sighting of Transformers Generations Deluxe (Fat) Tankor and Rattrap, courtesy of fellow Seibertron.com user
Bounti76. The figures were purchased at a Walmart in Centerville, Utah - so head to the

so is the normal price for these $10 or are they on sale again? I was at walmart the other day and the prices were back up to $15. Only thing still on sale at the time were the one step changers. But at $10 id pick these up no problem, even though im not a fan of either mold a figure & a comic for $10 is a great deal.

Haven't seen them in NY. I'm at my folks house in NJ right now, and I just got back from a quick hunt. Didn't see anything at Target, and made a conscious decision to avoid Wal-Mart. Kind of regretting that now...

When I found Rattrap and (Fat) Tankor on the pegs, their regular tag (no sale tag in sight) said $9.97. The Generations movie figures were still at $14.97, and were nowhere to be seen, completely cleaned out.

Still not much of anything but AoE in Baton Rouge, LA. We're usually pretty good about getting new releases. The way the AoE toys are shelfwarming does nor make me feel good about seeing these anytime soon. What are the case mates with these two?
