So tonight I finished up the last details on the Omega Helmet, completing what I had planned for this kit. I'm not planning on doing the track "wings" but there are plenty of pegs and ports to fashion your own from leftover kre-o parts.

With that said, here is the renders for the completed Omega Upgrade set and the first 3rd party Kreon helmet that I know of .

I like that the helmet is "buildable" as well...it also opens the doors to further alterations. Neat!

Thanks mate! That's kinda what I was thinking too. I love the idea of being able to take something and use it in new ways so I try to work that into my designs so others can use things in ways I may not have thought of. the pegs on the back of the helmet are standard of course. As is the peg on the turret part. The hole in the turret peg is a 3mm port so other kreon or cyberverse weapons should fit there. In theory at any rate. I may have to wait a bit till I can gather up the $$ to order prototypes.

The Omega set is now available for the testing price in my shapeways shop. The set includes the specific parts to take the "Bruiser Kit" up to Omega Supreme. I've also made the helmet available in a separate listing for those that might be interested in just the helmet. Likewise the visor for the helmet is also available separately so that it can be ordered in a translucent material. All of which still need to be tested so until they are, I'm offering them at the discounted price listed.

I've also added a new listing that has all of the kits I've designed so far in one order so a few dollars can be saved. I'll continue updating that listing as I do more sets as well as adding bonuses that will only be available in that set.

I opted to add the "track wings" for Omega and I must say it really completes the look of the character. I've added the tracks as a separate listing for those that may have already ordered the Omega Addon, and I've updated the set to include the new wings. I've also added a set that contains both the Bruiser set and the Omega set so that you can get all the parts in one go and save a dollar or two. These parts are still untested until I can scrounge more cash so they are offered at the discounted "testing price"

I also played around with the styles, colors and shadows in sketchup to give you some nice color renders to give you an idea of how these might look w/ a touch of paint.
