Oh **** just when i thought it was safe to relax this looks fantastic and a spider mode i will get this that alt mode is deadly.

Oh yes... she will be mine. Wasn't interested in the other 2 enough to spend what, 100 freakin' dollars for a DELUXE!!?... but this, THIS is cool and I may deny my children some birthday presents to get it... maybe just change their diapers 50% less times for a month?

Those are some sweet lookin' colors on her, the neon flavor makes the figure pop. I'm sure with a few paints apps it'll be brilliant.

Looks like there are two faces. One with a closed mouth, and another opened. Or, the chin is making an illusion of an open mouth.

Heard a whole lot of nothing from PE in quite some time. Disappointed this is all they have to show for themselves at this time. It's still looking cool though. Interesting name.

Such a shame they blurr out the most important pic. I dont think it is exactly a spider mode for the robot. It's a spider mode for the kibble. I need a spider mode with the figure before I buy this mold again.

And why are her lips open ? Is she flirting with Hardbone ???

If you look closely you can tell she has a lower lip. That's a chinstrap.

So far I like it. But with everything else coming out this year this is at the bottom of my list.

I'm not sure if I'll snag her or not, but she does look pretty badass.

I was doing a bit of research on the concepts and prototypes for the unreleased Transtech line and came across something which I believe might be the basis for the design of this figure. It's Transtech Blackarachnia:



I could be wrong, but if you compare their helmets and bot modes with the legs, they look strikingly similar I think.

Wait ... is that really the full color version? With the all black face? Because it seems a little ... lacking when it comes to paint apps.

They're prototype pics. Says so in the top of the pics.

I'm not really a fan of molds getting used for characters on opposing factions, but this one is really nice. I love the spider drone. She's bought.

Maybe if they did extensive retools like this release. But i think this BlackArachnia is an original idea and looks pretty cool. That also isn't me saying that the other Fembots won't see a release from this mold either. Time will tell.

Black Arachnia is a character from the Beeast Wars era. If some 3rd party decided to make the Predacons or Terrorcons into "neo" vechicles, the fandom would send them to hell. So why have Black Arachnia as a bike ??? It's just dumb. I expect dumb from Hasbro (Cheetor and Quickstrike as cars, Air Razor as a jet) But from a 3rd party company I dont expect lame neo re-tools.

I think the logic is, Arcee has been released as a bike, and in Transformers Animated Arcee became Black Arachnia (even though Arcee wasn't a bike in that continuity), so it makes sense for her to be a repurposing of the mold.

On that note, while not a Black Arachnia fan (I found this because I'm a bike-bot addict), this is just too amazing looking. Really really cool stuff. This, in my opinion, is what re-tools of existing molds SHOULD be.
