Aha! So that was what was standing next to Planet X Swoop. I think PE Cerebros can be my Headmaster Leader. Perhaps some day I will create a 6' tall Fort Max to go with him.

Anyway, I like the look. I'm assuming he's a headmaster himself, though I don't see a Fort Max head there. Need more pics...

Was someone else going to do a Cerebros? I remember discussing it before, but not where.

For God's sake! Couldn't they have given us a bit more than that?

Would I be right in saying this guy's size makes it unlikely this thing will be a replacement Headmaster for G1 Fortress Maximus?

He's standing side by side with a DVD case. So I'm wondering if you meant he's either too big or too small to fit on good ole FM?

Either way, I think the plan is to still have a modern replacement for the head. I don't think PE changed those plans, but guess we'll have to wait and see. Maybe they were hiding the head mode for another time? Looking at the product on display, they probably have to be very careful and cannot transform him. I remember that was the case with some other figure (Iron Army?) RobotKingdom had on display last year.

Yeah, I suppose he will do. :roll:

Looking at the figure it's tough to make out any pieces that could conceivably point to what it's alt mode will be. The only bit I'm vaguely seeing is those rocket pods being the tips of horns.

I hope they don't take long to reveal anymore.

LazyAza of TFW2005, pointed out that the knees are the horns/ears, and the feet are the cheeks.

So, PE-DX03 is a Headmaster of a headmaster. :lol:

PE couldn't really be building up to a true Fort Max, could they? I would speculate further, but their track record for some of the other stuff I was hoping they'd bring to the table has yet to come about.

Regardless, great looking figure.

I wonder if they would do something akin to the Kabaya Gum set and release Fort Max as a bunch of different components. :-?

If that's what they are planning I wish they'd just bloody well say so! I like the look of this and am considering getting him, but knowing they were doing a massive Fort Max a piece at a time I'd be on board for sure. As things stand atm, I'll most likely pass so I can be sure I'll have the funds for those figures that are needed to fill the far too many gaps.

I don't really care about the IDW version, in my mind, if Fort Max isn't a cityformer he isn't Fort Max.

If this guy is meant to be the head of a massive body that is coming later then I'm on board. If not then I'll be passing.
