yeah, i think 3k's the going price for Metroplex. wait for the sale, at SM (though i think this has only happened once to me) if you know in advance that there is a 3-day and you have an Advantage card, try asking for promos. last time, i got another 10% off the discounted price for a total of 20%. this was during the first day of the sale, and the promo was additional 10% during the first hour of the sale (10 AM-11 AM).

who knows, maybe you'll luck out and get 20% off Metroplex! that's huge savings.

For me, I don't think it's worth it. This version of Metroplex has been collecting dust in SM toys stores for months. Possibly even years. Been seeing those since before i started collecting, before 2006. They don't seem to move.

Nice sig zemps! Lioconvoy is a great toy.

I may have to wait for their Halloween sale. I thinks thats the earliest 3day sale before Xmas. Hopefully he's still there. Any thoughts on Cybertron toys? I don't have any yet.

Nope. I collect only Classics, Movie, and a few Alternators.
But i've seen some cool Cybertron series toys.
Metroplex looks acceptable in robot mode. But the alt mode is totally whacked!

I don't like Cybertronian alt modes. It doesn't mean anything to being a Transformer.

i have Smokescreen.great alt mode (based on a luxury car) and recolors (he really matches G1 Smokescreen!) but PITA transformation. his neck looks too long in robot mode. but pretty solid figure nonetheless.

a have a friend here who collects Armada, Energon & Cybertron. he showed me a few of his Cybertron figs and they're all pretty good, as in the toys are more solid than the classics and movie line. funky alt modes too.

my advice? if you still have some Cyb deluxes hanging around, might as well buy 'em. a pretty solid and fun toy line.

if you have the cash to spare, then go get him bro.

he's pretty much of a shelf warmer these days, but chances are there are only 1 of him per mall, or so i think. so if another collector gets him then pretty much you'll have to look somewhere for your Primus fix.

just a friendly reminder though...if you're getting him at SRP, better think that at that price, you can get at least 4 deluxes. just a thought bro, go get him if you're decided.

Thanks for the reminder zemper. I would really think twice though, if only there were deluxe figures available here locally worth getting . its been so long since my last transformer fix.
