Cool! I need to get off my butt and add a few Primes from this line to my Optimus collection. Some of them are actually REALLY tough looking in their bot mode and a lot more appealing than the BH figures. And by "Tough" I'm not talking about the actual physical durability of the toy. These are made for 4 year olds so of course they are tough in that respect. I meant that they just look bad-ass.

Could be. Could be some other body. As far as Hasbro seems concern with the Aligned continuity, aesthetics really do not matter to them.

For instance, the new Covenant of Primus book has artwork set on Cybertron back during the Great War, in which Optimus, Megatron, Ironhide, and Lugnut all have Earth bodies while everyone else is in their WFC/FOC bodies.

I'm with you on the other two, but have we ever had a Bumblebike before? (Besides actual bicycles with Bumblebees on them) To me, he has potential as a Junkion Bay fanboy.

And, not surprisingly, he transforms an awful lot like Armada Sureshock. Maybe this will end up being confirmed as Bumblebee's sister when it gets a Japanese release? Oh, what fun havoc Rescue Bots could still wreak on Aligned Continuity before it's done...

Why in the world did they pick Optimus and Bumblebee as two of the three in wave one? Why not try picking the bots that are actually featured in the show? I could see one out of three, but this is silly. Wave one should be Blades, Boulder, or Chase replacing either Optimus or Bumblebee.

Thanks to Seibertron.com member Sabrblade for pointing out this recent posting over on 2Chan, an image of the cardback for the upcoming Transformers: Rescue Bots Rescan Heatwave figure. In addition to giving us a good look at Heatwave's new fireboat alt mode, the fantasy scene reveals some really interesting characters. There appear to be three dinosaur Transformers! All three appear to have vehicle modes, the most obvious being the brontosaurus who transforms into a firetruck. There's also a yellow triceratops and red/blue tyrannosaurus. It's likely that Hasbro will be pushing as much dino-themed merchandise as they can to ride the hype wave the Transformers: Age of Extinction Dinobots will almost certainly generate.

Could these possibly be new characters that we will see in the long waited Transformers: Rescue Bots season two. Check em out below.

Oh yeah, they're probably trying to directly compete with VTech's Switch & Go Dinos, which have been out for a year or two already.

And with a big Dinobot-centric movie out this summer to remind everyone that they've been doing transforming dinosaur robots for almost 3 decades now, the timing makes it look more like VTech ripped Transformers off, even though they've never really done a team of toddler-friendly dinosaurs with vehicle alts before.

Clever girl, Hasbro. Clever.

Well, I guess we can thank Matt Tieger and Fall of Cybertron for saving the Dinobots. Without them, we wouldn't be getting goodies such as this coming down the pipe.

If you look closely Chase has almost spine-like police lights. This is a possibility that they may be making the Rescue-Bots dinbots. As well as the Optimus-Colored dino this very well may be Optimus himself. Bumblebee looks different too the left hand seems to be a claw. That Broncheosuarus (<sorry if I spelled that wrong) with Heatwaves color scheme may br Heatwave also. you can also see the water coming out his mouth..... Heatwave=Firetruck=Waterhose=Broncheo's Mouth???????????????????????

I'm guessing they're matching Dinobot buddies? Or do the Rescue Bots turn into dinosaurs now? Chase seems to have stegosaurus plates on his back, suggesting he turns into one, and there aren't any "doubles" (no 'regular' Heatwave, Boulder, OP), but then Blades is apparently a jet, so I'm not too sure. Dunno if Rescue Bots can handle 3 modes; suppose they could each have 2 new toys...

Originally, I thought Chase had the same kind of door wings going as Prime Smokescreen instead of dino pates and so wrote him off, but if you look at his wrists, obvious dino feet. The triceratops thingy has treads in its forelegs, I wonder if that'sBoulder?
