Not really. Isn't it just like Second Life? Or ... The Sims + Mii's + MMO - fun = Home

The thing about this is that the game it self is free, but they are promising lots of downloadable content. And this is the PS3 we're talking about. Everything is probably gonna cost you money. Real money that you could easily could have spent on getting real stuff. This looks like another money gouging scheme.

But I wonder how mature, or immature, is this thing will be. Is someone gonna turn their house int oa brothel will naked women dancing all over the place? Or how many 40 year old guys are gonna be on there pretending to be 18 year old girls?

I thought it looked neat. I kinda like the idea of a trophy room and being able to roam around to get stuff. But then when I just want the download, having to roam to find it could get annoying, if you have to go into home to get it I mean.

Can you really be stealing the idea of an avatar though? If you think about it we've had them online in forums for years. And in chat programs and so on. I could see saying this is ripping off Second Life, but it already looks ALOT better than Second Life to me.

While it looks cool, it's still not enough to truly make me want a PS3.

Nice try Sony.

It's a very good idea and the graphics and functionality make sense, but I doubt it will really take off.

It's a good idea. I like how they slip in "downloadables from the Sony Store." "For that extra Unique look"

Unfortunatly not enough to make me buy a PS3. Now, AC4 on the other hand.....

Wow! So now I can pay $650 to walk around and virtually talk to people!

Unless I can punch the people that are dressed as emo's I don't care for it. In the end it'll be another stupid failed gimmick that costs money and is seriously uneeded. Especially when as others have said you can go play around in Second Life.

Although the opportunity to open up a porno theater and charge people real money might make me invest in this.

I like your thinking if that Porno thing happens would you care for a business patner.
