Im not fond of the TRU exclusives personally. In my city there is 1 TRU...and one scalper seems to pick it clean everyday....he is a thorn to say the least..

Just that, and the non-AllSpark blue Nightwatch Optimus Prime, and it was only the UK (And Japan for Prime). The mainland is more infamous for importing cheap American overstock.
Speaking of which, some US exclusives were made general retail in Europe:

- All Universe 2003 Micromaster combiners
- Movie 2007 Target Scouts

You're missing a couple. In 2010 as well as the WfC deco of Cy legend Starscream there were also the UK blind bagged versions of the Kmart Minicon 12 pack featuring some alterations to the decos and 3 remoulds and the supposedly Eurozone exclusive Minicon 8 pack that only ended up being sold in France and parts of Eastern Europe. I've got all of the 2010 Euro exclusives and plan to do an article on them as soon as I get my damned card reader back from my idiot little brother, not being able to upload pictures at the moment would make it something of a pointless exercise to do the write up.

Actually, the blindbagged Mini-Cons are brand new molds, akin to the Kabaya Change Microns from 2003. Also, has anyone spotted The Ravage Infiltration set, with repaints of RotF Dune Runner, Scattorshot and Legends Ravage?

The Minicons sold in the packets of gummy sweets? Don't think they were new molds. A couple were remolded, supposedly, and some paint variations cropped up. Flatfoot was Overcharge in the US before he rejoined the police force (Classics Strongarm before that), and I think a few of the others might not even have got any name changes or extensive repaints.

I'll have to dig out both sets for a comparison. The only mould related differences that I'm aware of from the last time I had a close look at both sets are the changed copyright info on Blight, the shortened tabs on Skyhammer's arms, the flattened detail on Knockdown's truck bed and the change to 2 part rotors on Cloudraker. All the other physical differences that I could see were related to these versions having less definition in the castings. Of course we might just be talking about semantics here. I'm well aware that these won't have been produced from the same set of moulds as the original releases, but to my mind that doesn't stop them being classed as remoulds (say for example the same relationship as Classics Starscream and Classics Ramjet) rather than new moulds. I'm not trying to start an argument, I just have trouble defining the same characters at the same size with the same transformations as being new moulds.

And the NEST themed repaints of some of the human figures from the 07 Screen Battles sets packed in as well. I grabbed one of those on clearance in Sainsbury's the other year. I knew they weren't a main line item but don't remember anything about them being Euro exclusives. Do you know which countries got those? For some reason I've been working under the impression that they started out as store exclusives in the States (again Kmart springs to mind). The companion set to that one with the legend class Arcee sisters never went into production though, right?

You mean the Sideways with three Legends Arcee repaints? Yup, that one got canned. The Ravage Infiltration actually started out as a Target exclusive, oddly enough.

hurm. I'd say iGear's Faith Leader is more different from MP Prime than these "new" Minicons are from their original colourings.

hurm. I'd say iGear's Faith Leader is more different from MP Prime than these "new" Minicons are from their original colourings.

Even though those Mini-Cons are based on official toys, they're more like officially licensed KO's (nice oxymoron there) as the toys aren't made from the official molds themselves. I have both Classics Nightscream and the UK Brimstone, and there are actually minute differences in detailing, and not because of mold degradation.
