Shockwave's Tower ~ Taining Room

Havok and Thrall said nothing as they adhered to Bane's request and followed their leader out of the 'Arena'. It did seem odd that Bane had been the one who ignored Hun-Grr, while Havok had been the one to respond, often it was the other way around, perhaps they had rubbed off on each other more than Havok realised, and he wasn't quite sure if that was a good or a bad thing.

Regardless, more important things awaited them, it had been quite a while since they had last synched, and not synching was something that none of them could afford to do. It took little time for Havok and Thrall to catch up to the Black Death, and they quickly took up positions on either side of their fellow Corrupticon "You couldn't have just finished him quicker?" Havok began as they walked along, referring to Bane's toying around with Blackguard, a comment which made Thrall chuckle, knowing full well the Grey Corrupticon was joking "Oh give him a break Havok, after all he was up against one of the 'New and Improved' batch" The Minotour added, which in turn made Havok smile.

The Skies of Polyhex

Strafe rolled out of the way and made sure to keep his distance as much as possible. He wasn't quite stupid enough to engage in close combat when he knew he wasn't quite likely to win.

"Well some people may beg to differ with that" he replied idly as he fired back. Turmoil may intend to get past him but Strafe wasn't about to let that happen any time soon.

OOC: possible I can get something to do with my characters? Quantum doesn't have much to do with all his seeker-brethren on missions. And the Corrupticons want something to do too.

Shockwave's Tower - Training Room

Quantum had looked with a hidden suprise at the Corrupticons leaving the room without any reaction from the tall Terrorcon on their arrogant behaviour towards him. Personally he had never had any idea what the heck went on within the cranial units of the gladiators. They were uncontrollable and had a troublesome attitude towards authority, yet they were always capable of getting out of the very same trouble they created themselves.

With the gladiators out, silence came in the training room and the other decepticons seemed to find something else to do. Maybe he should do the same. It annoyed him slightly that he had been left out from the action. Maybe he was the first to be replaced by the Sweeps? No, such thoughts should not cloud his mind. There was plenty of strenght in this old fighter still and his brothers, both older and younger, also still had a lot to offer the Decepticon cause despite their older designs. Experience couldn't just be replaced like that.

Shockwave's Tower - Medic Bay

Bane just ignored Thralls and Havok's banter. He wasn't exactly in the mood for social interactions right now. It was enough that he had gotten the unwanted attention of Hun-Grr, but also Swindle's rare show of bravery bothered him. He would not let that little mecho-rat get away with it. Just have to wait for the right time to pay the Combaticons back.

With synching, or link-up as they also sometimes called it, Thrall shared his unique regeneration abilities with them, purging the virus from their entire system, besides the personality-codes. Bane could feel his mind clearing up, his tactical and analytical senses sharpening and his primal lust rapidly decreasing. Their bodies were slightly shacking until it completed.

The purge of the virus was completed, now he just needed to repair the damage he had received from his two respectable opponents in the pit. The wound in his stomach was the only one that couldn't be healed by his own regeneration systems.

"Havok, help me with this cut" he requested the help of his fellow Corrupticon. Besides himself, Havok was the only one with enough medical knowledge to mend the damage they received from almost constant battling both on the battlefield and against other Decepticons.

OOC: Posting so as to move things along. Stormshadow, if you want Rampage to be aboard the shuttle, he's aboard.

Shockwave's Tower - Hangar

"Flight checks done, engines hot. Off we go, Gentlemechs." Swindle threw a switch.
The Combaticons shuttle, lifted abruptly off the ground, slowly rounded on the hangar door and blasted off towards the Tagan Hieghts, and their new deployment.
"You call that a takeoff, Swindle? We should have just gotten Brawl to throw us there."
"Bite me Blast-off."

The Dungeons

Truth be told, the prison facilities in the roots of Shockwave's Tower were a far cry from the dungeons of Kaon. They were kept pristinely clean, their occupants restrained and often sedated, and meticulously clean. There was little traffic here anyway: Shockwave was not the type to keep an Autobot functioning unless it was truly worth it. Those were either offlined out of hand, or used as fodder for the true dungeons, Shockwave's Labs. Blackguard wished he could see what went on in there, but knew none but Shockwave himself, and his experiments, were ever likely to know.
"None?" Blackguard looked at the functionary drone.
"Affirmative, all detainees of prison facilities moved to Kaon following last major assault."
"Well, seems we're out of luck Reforge. We'll have to find our fun elsewhere."
"'fun'...keyword response....Disciplinary Warning Message: Rank and File troopers are not permitted to torture prisoners. Only <Position currently unoccupied> may fulfill authorised torture procedures. I must ask you to leave."
"Hurm..." Blackguard turned back to Reforge, and began to walk back to the stairs. "It seems the Tower is short a torturer, whereever Vortex got to. Command may be looking for a qualified...surgical expert. Perhaps you could be back here before you know it, Reforge."

Brawl had guffawed loudly at Blast-Off's typically supercilious critique of Swindle's piloting ability. Onslaught, settled in one of the seats at the rear of the small craft, quickly silenced the boisterous tank--insofar as it could ever be claimed that the Combaticons' most pugnacious member was silent--with a flat look. Internal squabbling, both of the good-natured and malicious varieties, was common to all military units, no matter which side of the ethical divide they happened to fall on. But that didn't mean he wanted to spend the entire trip to Tagan with Brawl bellowing barely a foot from his audio receptors.

"As long as he gets us to Roadblock in one piece," Onslaught grunted. Perfection was what he sought on the field of battle, not during these rear-echelon troop redeployments.

"Hope they've got prisoners," Vortex said eagerly from opposite his commander. "Real stubborn ones. The kind that don't break easy."

"I hope they don't. Then we can go out an' get our own," Brawl offered.

"Roadblock specifically requested this unit be transferred to his command." Onslaught leanded back, ruminating on the possibilities. "I'm certain that when we arrive, he will waste no time in putting our talents to the most productive use possible."

The Skies of Polyhex

Scattershot and Thundercracker wove in and out, letting their deadly dance unfold. Both had managed to score a few meager hits, mostly superficial damage. To this point it had appeared that they were at a stalemate. Fortunately intervention from Bluestreak and Turmoil forced both aerial combatants to disengage to deal with more immediate threats.

Thundercracker broke first as the three missiles sent by Bluestreak approached. Breaking hard and rolling to the starboard, 'Cracker punched some chaff to attempt to jam the missiles radar. Under full acceleration, the Seeker did his best to evade the three closing warheads. As he spiraled through the sky, he opened a comm-link to Skywarp.

>>Thanks for grabbin' those other warheads away, but I think I may be in trouble here. Keep an eye out for me on the ground.<<

Diving for the ground to pick up some extra speed, Thundercracker searched the ground for some Autobots that might serve as a better target for Bluestreak's missles. As luck would have it, he spotted the owner of these warheads below. Streaking down out of the sky, he blew by the Autobot letting out a deafening sonic boom hoping it would cause enough confusion that his own missles might strike him.

"Hey Autobot! Did you lose these?"

Scattershot, meanwhile, had been struck by Turmoil's shots while trying to evade. The damage caused was not serious, however the power linkage to his ion cannon was severed rendering the weapon inoperable. Left with artillery ammunition as his only weapon, Scattershot made for the ground.

"That slaggin' son-of-a-glitch! Now I have two rust spots to deal with! 'Cracker's first then whoever you are. Ugly winged thing!"

Now on the ground, Scattershot continued cursing under his breath. Scanning about, he searched for the other Autobots hoping they were faring better than himself. It seemed that Bravo had taken some damage but was still airborn.

Atta boy! Doing pretty good for a rookie.

Strafe was also managing well. On the ground, however, things could be better. Seeing that Sunstreaker was drawing some heavy fire, he ran over to assist. Spraying the air with acid pellets to keep Nightraid and Jadewind at bay, he shouted to the golden 'bot.

"'Streaker get to cover! I'll hold them off!"

Turmoil dodged more of Strafe's shots, though one managed to graze his left arm and part of his left wing.

Realizing his strategy wasn't working, Turmoil switched to using his disintegrator cannons, hoping he'd have better luck with them. He fired several shots at his foe while continuing to chase him.

Shockwave's Tower--Command Center

These were the occasions when Cyclonus better understood the function that Megatron had designed him to fill. Standing within the operational command center of Polyhex, the Aerospace Commandant was not uncomfortable with the burden of command that had been laid upon him. But, that being true, he still preferred the thrill of the hunt. He felt akin to his Sweep comrades in that regard, at least. There was nothing more exhilirating than the moment of exact execution...bringing one of Megatron's latest goals to fruition. Even from here, he could still perform that task, it was simply in a more indirect manner and, thus, less satisfying.

With the requisite forces moving to the Heights as commanded, Cyclonus had taken up a position in Shockwave's chair, having brought up several information screens regarding the functional status of not only the tower but the surrounding area--particularly any information regarding the current Seeker engagement, given how sparse such information was to come by in the heat of battle.

Whatever happened, he saw no need to approach the various matters of Polyhex in terms of the Decepticon cause in solitude. Other Decepticons preferred to work alone, asking only for the input of their subordinates when they had no other options. Shockwave immediately came to mind, but he was not the only one. Cyclonus instead preferred to gather feedback from his peers considerably before it became a crisis scenario. Scanning the available roster...which in itself was dwindling rapidly...the Air Commander opens up a direct link with a certain Seeker of note. One of the few not currently assigned to some other mission.

>>"Cyclonus to Quantum...I have need of your presence within the command center. Join me at your earliest opportunity."<<

The situation was not urgent, and so his wording did not necessitate the use of more demanding terminology.

Ruins of Polyhex - Near Border

"Timing is...ow....everything, so I hear, Bluestreak." Bravo gingerly picked himself up and limped over to his sword. It had fallen in a crevice between 2 fallen buildings, where only the most observant could have spotted it. But Bravo's bond with his sword meant he could always tell were it was, and his nimble fingers were easily able to reach into the crack and pull it out. "Now...to make up for lost time."
Sheathing the blade and transforming in one motion, Bravo blasted into the dogfight above once more. It wasn't a particularly bad move, he ached all over from his fight with Turbulence, but he couldn't just stand back while his friends were picked off. He came around behind Nightraid and Jadewind, and began firing, hoping a laserbolt would damage their engines and make them pull out of the fight.

(OOC - Technically, there's only two of Bluestreak's warheads still on Thundercracker's tail. Turbulence destroyed the third.)

Ruins of Polyhex – Near Border

After watching Bravo take off to the skies once again, Bluestreak rushed to the edge of the destroyed bridge. Peering across the deep, metallic ravine, the blue and silver Autobot could see Sunstreaker pulling himself up onto solid ground. “Hey, Sunny! You okay over there, buddy?!” Bluestreak shouted across the wide chasm that separated them. However, before Sunstreaker was able to respond, Thundercracker suddenly flew by Bluestreak in a flash, creating a sonic boom that shook the gunner’s audio receptors. So much so, that he didn't catch the Decepticon's sarcastic comment. “What the frag?! You missed me, ‘crackerhead!” Or did he?

Bluestreak then noticed two incoming warheads, his warheads, heading right at him! “Slaggit!” Bluestreak quickly shifted his body right just as one missle shot past his torso, coming within an inch of hitting him. The rocket continued onward into the sky, still lcoked on to the blue seeker. However, the heat from the rocket’s exhaust had actually singed Bluestreak’s back. Ignoring the pain, the talkative bot took a dive away from the ravine. The other missle followed, streaking by and striking the side of a crumbling building. The explosion sent debris flying everywhere. Some of the shrapnel landed on the Autobot gunner’s already scorched back. “Aah! That fraggin hurt!” Once the dust had settled, Bluestreak pushed the debris off himself and quickly got to his feet.

I’m gonna send that blue seeker to the scrap heap. I swear to Primus! Hopefully, my one remaining warhead will get him.

But, first thing’s first. He had to get back to Sunstreaker, who was still under heavy fire from Nightraid and Jadewind. Thankfully, Scattershot and Bravo were providing cover fire and support for the golden warrior while Bluestreak had been distracted. With light smoke still coming off his back, the gunner hurried back to the edge of the ravine and pulled his ion-charged disperser rifle out of subspace storage. He carefully took aim at the two seekers, who were trying to destroy his friend, and opened fire.

Shockwave's Tower - Training Room

"Affirmative, commander." Quantum replied. Just like Cyclonus Quantum rarely used more words than necessary. From what he had heard of his new Aerospace Commander, he was regarded as a very serious and dutiful mech, just like Quantum himself.

The black and white seeker strode with firm steps towards the Command Center, Shockwave's 'throne room'. He speculated that Shockwave probably had left Polyhex' for something else that required his single-optical attention, and left the management of city and it's awe-inspiring tower in the hands of what Quantum believed was the Cyclop's own creation. Though everything regarding the Sweeps and Cyclonus was still just that; speculations. He and the others only knew that they were the newest line of aerial combat mechs that perhaps would replace the seekers as the backbone of the Decepticon Army.

Approximately a breem later Quantum arrived at his destination. As he entered the Command Center, he immediately saw the majestic purple aerial warrior sitting on Shockwave's 'throne', overseeing the countless monitors that was connected to everything in the entire building.

"At your disposal, commander" he saluted with the militaristic perfection that had been the black and white seeker's trademark ever since he had been activated.

Combaticon Shuttle - Polyhex Airspace

Rampage just settled out of the way of the rather loud group and settled for staring out of the window; imagining all the things he'd rather be doing right now than sitting on a shuttle listening to combaticons complain to each other. Oh well at least they had taken him along and who knew maybe they'd get ambushed or something. Though it was very unlikely he could always hope. Rampage did miss the other predacons that was true but he was capable of being separated from them for long periods of time without going loopy over it so he wasn't too bothered.

Looking out of the window Rampage took note of the landscape below and wondered if there was any good hunting to be had below. Though it was unlikely this close to Polyhex he was consoled by the possiblity that his destination may boast some more interesting prey.

Rampage wasn't actually concerned why he's been sent on this trip after all he wasn't the kind to think about such things; that had always been Razorclaw's department not his. So while the combaticons mused over why they were going and what they were going to do Rampage just mused on whether or not he'd get to kill anything.

Outside the Tower

Sunstorm had checked to ensure that no other Decepticons were in his immediate vicinity. When he took to the air, it would be nice to also partake in a brief respite from maintaining the internal shields that Shockwave had installed in order to minimize exposure to the golden seeker's destructive energies.

Lifting off, Sunstorm waited until he was considerably above the reach of the tower before completing his transformation. The tetrajet would ensure that the perimeter was secure.

Guide my hand. Guide my actions.

Tower--Command Center

When Quantum arrived, Cyclonus offered a brief nod of acknowledgement before rising from Shockwave's command chair. He had neither the need nor the desire to be addressed like some magistrate. He would speak to the Decepticons, particularly his fellow air warriors, on their level. For he was one of them.

"I've had the occasion to review the technical specifications of various air warriors. Yours, in particular, interested me. You are not like Starscream. And yet, with your abilities, you could easily choose to be. Why?"

The Air Commandant had more mission-oriented topics on his mind, but those would come. By and large, the Seekers were a collection of pretentious braggarts whose words often exceeded their abilities. That was not true of this one, by all outward appearance. Directed properly, he could be an invaluable resource to the Decepticon cause.

Skywarp chuckled as he heard Bluestreak's comment. Although the wisecracking seker had hoped to take all eight missals with him, taking five away gave Thundercracker a better chance of escaping severe damage or even termination. His warp gate opened and Skywarp entered with the five missiles in tow. With a loud “POP” the dark tetrajet appeared a few meters from the ruins of a once impressive structure. Pulling up sharply the purple and black seeker flipped as the missiles exploded on contact with the debris. The explosion could have hit the con, only Skywarp had already teleported back to the action, appearing just in time to receive 'Cracker's transmission.

>>I'm right behind ya 'Cracker. If you cant throw em, I'll open a portal in front of you.<<

Thundercracker then proceeded to dive and Warp watched as one of the warheads just barely missed Bluestreak. It looked as if Thundercracker would be fine without his assistance, but just in case........

>>Thundercracker, heads up I'm opening fire on your aft.<<

Sometimes Warp was not the brightest bulb in the box, and he heated up his weapons opening fire on the warhead his intent to destroy it before it got to his best friend.

Jadewind tok position and began firing in sync with Nightraid, her aim focused on Sideswipe. She growled as Sunstreaker transformed and took off leading Nightraid's missiles into the bridge. The explosion was huge and almost distracted her from the new assault taken on her. Jade banked to avoid being hit by Bluestreak, but not fat enough as her wing was grazed. The hit caused her flight path to wobble and she swore like a mech.

“That..... was a bad idea bot boy.”

jade positioned herself for another pass opening fire upon Bluestreak.

Quantum was a bit suprised when Cyclonus asked why he had not taken the mantle of seeker commander, and more suprisingly that he considered him the equal of a commanding officer. The black and white seeker was a very confident and competent leader, but couldn't see himself being better than Starscream, regardless of the red and white seeker's questionable loyalties.

"I am merely an instrument of the Empire, sir. I have no ambition to lead, unless I am ordered to or if the situation requires it." Quantum was deeply loyal to the Decepticon cause and the Decepticon military administration, of which Cyclonus now was a member of. He had no ambition to take a leading role as he believed there were others that could do it better than him.

"Hmph. He probably just broke his own soldiers, just so he can say he needs new ones. Roadblock wasn't picked for his intelligence, he just knew how to control his troops." Blast Off reclined in his chair. I'll probably be the only competent one there. Primus only knows how those idiots only captured it in the first place. "So Swindle, do we have an ETA or am I to assume you took your piloting lessons from some empty in exchange for stolen energon? Knowing you I'd expect the latter." If he had really wanted to get to tagan, Blast Off would have just flown into orbit and out again. At least that route was idiot pilot-proof.

Cyclonus nodded his head slightly ay Quantum's response. It had been a wise one. To declare yourself as anything other than a tool by which the Decepticon cause could further its objectives was to invite much harsher scrutiny, if not open conflict, regarding one's station. For some, it was an automatic response, carefully crafted over much time observing and participating inside the Decepticon political machine...a system that Cyclonus himself only had a minimal amount of experience engaging in directly. Though his programming had been thorough, and his spark components carefully chosen, there was much to be said for direct experience.

By all accounts, he had been a quick study.

Quantum's response, however, had not come across as one that had been crafted to further his own ambitions. He genuinely appeared to not have any. Only that which was given to him. Cyclonus appreciated that, for it was very similar to his own method of operation. He was not interested in the idea of command for command's sake. Whatever role would further Megatron's vision was all that concerned him, be it remaining here or engaging Autobots on the front lines.

"An astute response," Cyclonus said, stepping past Quantum and approaching the various observation monitors within the command center. "What, then, is your current assessment of the forces stationed here--both within the Tower as well as those engaged within the field?"

Cyclonus had only been here a short time, and in that time he had seen Decepticons troops both pulled from the area as well as the city-state itself become wracked with assaults. He wanted all of their forces used to their best capability, but he also wanted a perspective other than his own on how that might best be accomplished.

Polyhex Airspace - Combaticon Shuttle

"I'll have you know, Blast Off, that I learned how to pilot shuttles like this at the Nova Cronum Municipal Arms and Equipment Training Center, same place I learned to field-strip ion blasters in 13 astroseconds." Swindle took his position as Combaticon Munitions Specialist rather seriously: It was the best front he could ever get for his other skills. He was actually quite qualified for his job, which was why he was still on the team (that and he never stole from the team, in fact, he often obtained extra supplies for the team rather than for resale).
"As for ETA, I've had to add a few breems to our flight time diverting south, because the Iacon border is a mess. There's a flight of Seekers and some 'Bots shooting up a storm, best to be avoided. But from here, the flight should be smooth, and we should be in Tagan in 10 breems."

OOC: Unless anyone is going to chase us down, the Combaticons and Rampage should be in Tagan next post

Polyhex Airspace - Combaticon Shuttle

Blast Off kept going. It looked as if arguing with Swindle would be his only entertainment. "Whatever. Learning how to take a gun apart and put it back together isn't that special. Everyone, no, alomost everyone, in this empire knows their weapon inside and out." A small thought popped in Blast Off's head. He turned to Onslaught. "Hey boss, when we get to Tagan, we still report to you, right? It's not like Roadblocks taking over or anything?" If he tries to push me around, I will seriously break him. I only take orders from one mech- ME.

"Miss? Your status still green?" Nightraid asked with his typical gentlemanish tone. The eloquent tactician had a slight brittish accent which just seemed to suit him correctly. He changed his flightpattern slightly as he commed Jadewind.
"If so i shall maintain the assault on the primary target" he said.
The black and red Seeker unleashed a barrage upon his original target.

Shockwave's Tower - Command Center

"Frail and disorganized," came a cool, almost purring voice from a dark corner of the Command Center. Out from the shadows, as if materializing from nothingness, came Ravage. The feline-like humanoid Decepticon flexed the long, vicious-looking claws on his hands and let out a low growl after answering Cyclonus' question for Quantum.

"Hail, Air Commandant Cyclonus," he formally greeted the towering purple mechanoid. Though Cyclonus was many times Ravage's height and dozens of times his mass, the Casseticon seemed not the least bit unnerved in his presence, nor in Quantum's. Ravage lifted one clawed hand to his chestplate in salute, his red optics glowing slightly. "Commander Soundwave sends his regards. As does Emperor Megatron."

Ravage's head module turned slightly side to side as he examined the Command Center. "Your perimeter security and internal countermeasures appear to be in order. I surveyed them as I entered Polyhex and the Tower."

They didn't stop me...but they would stop most anyone else on Cybertron. It was a typical tactic of Ravage's upon being sent to a Decepticon facility: he would sneak in, examining and checking the security measures in place as he did so. He was never detected, but that did not mean the security measures were inadequate. Ravage was very, very good at what he did.

"However, Commander Soundwave is concerned about the state of affairs here in Polyhex." After a brief pause, Ravage finished his statement, the barest hint of a feral grin on his bestial features. "As is Emperor Megatron."

Ruins of Polyhex - Near the Iacon Border

"Thanks for the assist, Scattershot!" Sunstreaker said somewhat sarcastically as the brawling Autobot flyer opened up on the Decepticons that had been dogging him. "But I prefer to fight my own battles."

He drew his neutron rifle from subspace and turned, drawing a bead on Jadewind. The golden Autobot noticed that Bluestreak was drawing her fire, and though taking some of the focus off of the gunner was a secondary benefit of choosing Jadewind as a target, Sunstreaker was more interested in padding his own combat record - as he always was. War was a numbers game to him. He didn't fight for the excitement of it, or because he cared especially for the Autobot Cause. He fought to have the best record, the most wins - the most kills. Sunstreaker was very good at this numbers game. His combat record was almost as pretty as he was, which was certainly saying something.

"Come down here and play with me," he snarled at Jadewind as he targeted her engine section and opened fire with the powerful neutron gun. Hopefully he could bring her down to his level, where he could put his other combat skills to good use.

Meanwhile, from a considerable distance, a pair of very sharp red optics monitored the battle. Their owner, from his perch on top of a half-blasted communications spire in the thick of the ruins, watched with a detached, almost casual attitude - but missed not a single detail of what was happening.

Laserbeak never missed a thing.

Ruins of Polyhex – Near the Iacon Border

Sideswipe moved from his current position to another more secure one. He drew his flare gun and began firing on Jadewind, but missed. A broad smile drew over the red warrior’s faceplate when he noticed Sunstreaker taking aim at the same target. His twin and he were definitely more alike than most.

“I’m with ya bro! Let’s take this glitch out, permanently!”

Gritting his “teeth,” Sideswipe fired another barrage at Jadewind.

The Skies of Polyhex

Thundercracker had recieved Skywarp's transmission and was about to reply to his comrade's stellar idea, but the momentary diversion of his attention was enough of a mistake that it cost him his advantage over the approaching missile. The blaring of alarms sounding at the immenent impact approaching cut off his reply to his fellow Seeker. Knowing there was no way to avoid the impact now, Thundercracker threw himself into a barrel roll, desperately hoping to minimize the damage. The missle struck hard on his aft section, disabling his stabilizers. Wildy spinning out of control, he fell towards the ground helped along by the concusion of the blast. He frantically fought to regain control to no avail. There was only one way out now. Transforming to his robot mode, he could feel the friction of the air tearing at his limbs. Now he understood how Scattershot had felt earlier attempting the same maneuver. Fortunatly, transforming to a less aerodynamic form afforded him enough time to gain control of his fall.

Ignoring the pain of the mangled stabilizer on his back, he swooped back up into the sky and scanned the ground for Bluestreak. The fight was far from over in his mind. His Tetrajet form may be disabled, but he was a more than adequate fighter in his robot form. In fact, he had less trouble fighting ground troops than some of the other Seekers. Sure that he had more than a few ceramic coated incindiary rounds for Bluestreak and Scattershot, he took a moment to formulate a plan.

Perhaps Turbulence and Skywarp could strafe the Autobots forcing them to cover. That would buy him some time to get on the ground and take out that Autobot chatterbox. He opened a comm-link to the Seekers and conveyed his plan.

>>Just because I can't fly as fast doesn't mean this fight is over yet. We'll have a few trophies when we're through thrashing these twerps.<<

Skies above Polyhex - Near Border

He'd thought he'd been aiming at Jadewind and Nightraid. He'd been pretty sure Jafewind's aft had been right in his sights. But just as Bravo made to fire, he suddenly found himself looking up into Cybertron's starry sky. Then at the ground. Then a glimpse of his targets before more sky. Then the glint of white metal.

Was that my wing? OH SLAG, THAT'S MY WING!!

Bravo tumbled through the sky, half of his vital control surfaces suddenly gone, finally failing after Turbulence's gunshots had half torn them off. He desperately manouvered, stopping the overhead spin but worsening the lateral spin. It's less dizzying at least...

"...nnnnNNNNYYYAAARRR..." Bravo yelled as he wrenched himself around, flipped over twice, transformed and belly-flopped to the ground in front of Sunstreaker. It wasn't as bad as the full-speed impact before, but it wasn't a nudge either.

"Errrrnnnnn.....uuuuuughhhbbb...So much for....the taking them in the air plan....." Bravo tried to pick himself up. It wasn't going very well.

Shockwave's Tower - Command Center

Quantum gave Ravage a respectful nod. Their ways had rarely crossed, but that didn't mean Quantum was unfamiliar with Soundwave's smaller lietenant. Ravage was a very ressourceful and clever little mech that had proven to be more valuable than a dozen squadrons of seekers. Out of respect, the black and white seeker simply kept quiet. There was a reason that the small black mech was here, and it was a lot more important than whatever a simple junior-officer had to say about something that Cyclonus already knew.
