Poses are hard, so are hands.

Got a great pic of G1 Op or BW Megs? Whether it's 2-D or 3-D it's welcome as is any other form of art outside the custom figure world.

I Need help. I can't draw poses to well. It's a difficult process to do, I know. Is there any way to make this easier to do? I mean, picturing something in my head and drawing it are two different things. I try to draw poses, and they come out so awkward. I also try to incorperate hands into it. that's another thing I have the worst trouble with. HANDS! Oh My God! So much Difficulty! It's impossible to do. Any help with either would be appreciated. Tips, tricks, ANYTHING. Thanks in advance, BP-

Google "lines of action" and, for static poses which aren't artificially rigid, look into slightly asymmetrical tilts of hip and shoulder lines. Remember, with standing poses, to keep the center of gravity over the convex shadow of any parts touching the ground (usually soles of feet).

It may help to pull up a hundred or so of your favorite poses from other artists, and oversketch how the lines of action and asymmetries flow through them. You may also want to remove any background and replace the ground (if relevant) with a simple flat plane to get an idea of the relationships.
