This is entirely speculation, But from what I can tell, I believe that Michael Bay has introduced DINO KING into the fray. The dino bots combine to form the great Dino King! As I said, this is entirely speculation due to the poor picture posted.

To add to this, the fist on the right hand looks like a spiked tail from a What I would guess to be Slag (Stegosaurus) and the large staff/mace looks to be his spines from along his back as well.

I can only guess this at the moment, But I think that Snarl will become the left arm, Slag will become the right arm. While Grimlock will become the main body and legs. Also, If Swoop is in the fray, I think he would become part of the lower abdomen, while his wings drape around the sides of the thighs and possibly into the front of the combined robot.

Feel free to prove me wrong, as this is all best guess and speculation based on the provided picture.

what photo are you looking at?

specidifcally.. what shoulders are you looking at? CLEARLY one shoulder is the upper head/jaw, and the other shoulder is the lower jaw.. i'm not sure how that isn't obvious.. especially when you factor in the look of grimlocks dinosaur mode that we've seen.. the shoulders look EXACTLY like his dino head.. so i'm not sure what you're looking at. maybe you're right about this being a combination.. but you're definitely wrong about the shoulders. and i wouldn't put it passed bay for grimlock to have weapons that look like these.

I have included the picture with the areas of references magnified and circled to prove my points. As you can clearly see, both shoulders are upper jaws, as they both have nostrils.

I also highlighted what I think would be Swoop as part of the waist, along with his wings draping backwards around the butt of Dino King / King Grimlock

I would also like to point out that Grimlock, Doesn't have a beak. Especially one with nostrils. LOL.

Here is the pic.

That "beak" looks a hell of a lot like a bunch of teeth.

The only problem with Bays designs for the movie is that he made all of the Dinobots look as bad-ass as possible. This, unfortunately, caused all of the supposed herbivore dinobots to become carnivorous. It seems that the younger crowd really digs bad ass bots. Regardless of their correct or incorrect presentation within the movie.

I would also like to point out one other little thing. I am a graphic artist. This includes 3d design. I graduated in 2006, and have a very keen eye when it comes to design. Even if this was a silhouette instead of this crude image. I could have come up with at least some logical design for the body.

To be honest, if Bay doesn't want information leaked from his movies. He had better keep everything under lock and key. Because if it has to deal with images. I'll find a way to clean it up, or give at least some knowledge on what it is. The bay computer screen pic was a doozy as well. But I'll save that for another time.

i can't believe you actually believe what you're pointing out. there clearly is no beak in either of your circles.. they're clearly both upper and lower jaws.. and i don't see nostrils on either side.. the more i think about it.. the more i find it comical that you think you see a beak. plus.. that has to be one really wide beak with a whole bunch of teeth. you can clearly see on side of the upper jaw on the one shoulder, with the other side shadowed in the background.

but hey, i won't make fun of you too much once you're proven wrong about your beak theory lol. (that's a joke by the way)

There are several leaked pictures of the dinobots yes. One was taken of a floor decal of a giant t-rex (Grimlock) being ridden by Optimus. The other that I am aware of was taken from a distance as Bay was looking at something on a laptop computer. (Possible crudely rendered scenes of the dinobots? So that he could tell what needed to happen where.) And If i recall correctly, there is a third floating around somewhere. But that is just here-say.

The beak I am referring to is this.
Image

Or this...

Image

As you can see, these two do have 'beaks'.

Also, yes I saw the sharp teeth and explained that part. I'm sorry if you failed to see that, or acknowledge it due to wanting to attempt to disapprove my theory. (Even if I requested it.)

Bay took his designs for the Dinobots to the extreme. Making them look far more fierce by giving them lots and lots of pointy parts all over their bodies. This info was taken from the picture I altered to prove my points in my previous post.

Kids and all Transformers fans alike ask that each movie and bots be even better than the ones before them. Supply vs demand really. The fans want more, Bay tries to provide. Even if his designs don't follow what the real dinosaurs looked like. Then again, we're talking about a race of cybernetic organisms that scan various machinery or lifeforms in order to 'blend-in' with their surroundings.

Too bad Grimlock and the rest of the Dino bots are more brawn than brains. LOL

i don't disapprove of your theory.. i believe in my first post i even said that you could be right about that.. but, dude, there is no beak in any of your circles. i know what dinosaur beaks look like... and there isn't one in those circles. i'm sorry you fail to see that.

plus, if it was a beak.. how to you explain that part of the jaw being so wide? dinosaur beaks come to a point.. both of these shoulders have squared off jaws.. neither of them come to point. how do you explain the right side of grimlocks shoulder looking like the upper jaw and the left side looking like the lower? on the right side you can see the teeth in the foreground, and the other side, you can see more teeth next to them in the background.

That laptop pic was so dark and grainy that no one could tell what it was supposed to be. The only Dinobot we've seen at all is Grimlock. Where you got the idea the others were turned into carnivores I don't know.

Not to mention that, according to the toy listings, we're NOT getting the traditional Dinobot "Five-Man Band" of Grimlock, Snarl, Slag/Slug, Sludge, and Swoop this time.

We're instead getting a much larger group with some new guys mixed in with older-named dudes: Grimlock, Slug, Slash, Scorn, maybe Strafe, Snarl, Swoop, and perhaps more.

Last time I checked, the Dinobots are giant alien robots that live off energon and only scan animals for disguise. And the Dinobots were always big and bad even back then in mild g1 days they was big in bad and mean with melee weapons. Transformers animated the series they were big bad and mean. Now if you Transition that into Mr. Bay's Optimus ripping deceptions faces off movieverse then thats is what you get= Some Barbarian looking Bad-ass Bayformers Grimlock.

This is what I see within these pictures. I've outlined them quickly without actually taking the time to draw them out. I see what you're talking about in regards to teeth. However, as I said, Bay went a little overboard on the design concepts, even with the herbivorous dinobots. So don't expect some plain looking dinobot just popping up within the movie. Our expectations are high, and he will follow through.

If you don't mind though, could you draw out the pics as well to prove your point. Because I don't see them. The beak shoulder would be narrow. While the other should looks far to wide to be able to fit with the other shoulder as a matching pair.

It was merely an observation to what the dinobots are as a historical item, when compared to what the living creatures were all that time ago. I mean, even the dinobots breathe fire in the cartoons. I doubt a living creature would be able to do the same.

LOL Anyway, the design concepts are/were meant to bring in the WOW factor to the audience. Turning a herbivore dinosaur into a carnivore, will usually give that appeal.
