jings!
I'm glad you did the size comparisons, a head taller and a lot chunkier than Jazz is fine for my Classics. Only problem now is finding someplace that has them in stock and finding the money for them.

Don't like how the red Ratchet head is in with the instructions though. I really want that on him and it not being in the blister gives me the fear. Might put the grumpy IDW style face on Ironhide if I get him, and do like the options, but the standard faces are ok by me. Do sort of agree about the mass of accessories they come with, but it is nice to get the options and I can use a lot of those with other figures, if they're 5mm posts.

I don't know if you know, but iGear added the red head after these kept getting delayed. By that time I'm sure all the blisters were done so they would have had to redo them again and delay it even more. The boxes are sturdy and the instruction sheet is bagged. The head is well protected and should not cause any problems.

cheers, I actually didn't know that. The red head is the tipping point for me, actually. It's the comic book style Ratchet that I grew up reading and being badass, as opposed to the guy who got killed in the first few minutes of the film.

Gosh these guys do look really good. I was going to hold out for Arsenal Primus cause he fits better classics size wise.

Can you pose him /mis-transform so he is maybe a head smaller than classics prime?

Also what is up with those long plastic panels behind his arms, can you take them off or are those in there permanently? It doesn't look too bad until you lift his arm up to pose with a gun and it is just dangling there?

You could lower the thighs into the lower legs a bit more but you will sacrifice articulated knees for a different height. Beyond that, there is no way to mistransform him to stand shorter.

I got Ratchet today- love him!!

I do am a big fan of the marvel comic version of him. The red head is great.

One thing I have noticed on everyones pictures and vids is a slight mis-transformation.

At the red torso, the big hinge rotates independently of whats below and above it, so you can turn the hinge around to the back side, looks alot better!! Check it out guys!

For everyone else, pick this guy up.. hes totally worth it.

Thanks for pointing it out, I have made a follow up video to highlight that address a couple of other things I forgot to mention. BTW, I don't subscribe to that transformation step of folding in the wheel arches. It looks like it was intended to function like that but to get them into that position puts too much stress on the plastic and could cause breakages.

Could someone please squat thier legs like this and take a photo of them next to Classics Prime to see how short they could get next to him???

I really didn't think scale would be such a problem for me, but I really need an excuse to buy these guys!

Weapon: Indepentently Targetable Particle Beam Cannons
here's something else thats cool...

for those of you who have the FP G3 Trailer for Classics/Henkei OP, if you have already installed the weapons rack pieces on the insides of the trailer you know there is almost a quarter inch of peg that continues to stick out...

I took my dremel and shaved these down so they were flush with the edges of the weapon rack pieces, and now not only does the trailer look cleaner on the inside, but Ironhide and Ratchet can fit inside OP's trailer (without shaving the pegs down they get in the way).
