Wow, I really like the monologue. Seems like the Allspark is reminiscnet of "Underbase" from the Marvel G1 comics.

Something seems to have gone awry with the text over page five in the images Newsarama posted, so I've substituted the page I received... bear in mind that all of these preview images are advance copies, so they may have been spliced/reflowed/corrected, etc.

Both Optimus Prime and Megatron once ruled the planet together
   WHAAAA......? :-? Too bad - I was hoping they keep in the previous Primes and mention how Megatron killed 2 of Optimus's predecessors which would magnify how much of a bad-ass Megatron is (add more dramatic tension).......

Yeah, somebody asked me once for an example of contradictory Furman writing. Well, there it is.

Well, I like 2 things do far. It's nice to see that Kaon & Megatron's castle have kept somewhat of the same appearance from the WWI comics. Also they keep to the tradition of Tyger Pax getting totalled by the Decepticons & completely & utterly war-ravaged. A good thing IMO.........

Contradictory?

This isn't War Within, Marvel UK, or any of the other continuities that've sprung up in the last going-on two and a half decades. Moreover, this isn't Furman's setup, it's the scriptwriters on the film.

Cool, Newsarama have fixed things now.

Quite. There's nothing contradictory here. Furman (and Ryall) are writing within the constraints of the movie; it's an entirely separate continuity from any of the other comics.

8) I agree. Oh and as much as what I would have like the story to feature, Denyer and Leonardo are right; this is Bay's and Co.'s storyline and it should stand alone as such ( though I think I would have cool if Megs was once one of the Primes charged with guarding the Allspark then became corrupted 8) 8) ) .

I think they have more of their stuff in there than you state (especially when I see something as dumb as Simfur).
