Japanese fan-based news blog - Autobase Aichi has posted the new prototype image of Transformers Prime Arms Micron - Optimus Prime & Bumblebee.

This image was taken from Takara Tomy booth at 2012 Winter Wonderfest at Japan. They are part of the upcoming "Gachapon" capsule toys.

You can tell by Bumblebee that Arcee is just off camera :P

On a more serious note, these don't look half bad. I doubt I'll ever be able to afford a Japanese exclusive, but I can dream ;)

Of for pete's sake...

This really must stop. The Autobot microns are ANOTHER Optimus Prime and Bumblebee. The cons actually get something interesting and different that duplicity makes a modicum of sense.

I hope Hasbro does pick this up and sells them individually, because I'm not getting suckered into buying more goddamn primes and bees. Thank god I used BBTS, where preorder management is painless.

Why must they be Prime and Bee ??? Why cant they be Caliburst, Blowpipe, Aimless ??? I glad I pre-ordered all the "real" targetmasters made by Mastershooter Creations.

These are $4.00 each along with Gobu and Zado at Captured Prey. It doesn't get much more affordable than that.

Endless waves of Optimus and Bumblebee toys aside, am I the only one who finds it ironic how, Optimus turns into the blaster when Bumblebee turns into the sword? shouldn't it be the other way around? Image
