A little while ago, there were scans from a magazine (possibly the november issue of dengeki, or whatever it's called?) advertising two campaign microns. The first was Pure Energon O.P., who was meant to combine with Pure Energon B.2 and Shining R.A. to form the Pure Energon Super Star Saber. And the second was a reissue of Hellflame Gul (or possibly a variant called "Red Energon Gul).
Were these ever released?

You bet. Hellflame Gul was reissued to compliment Terrorcon Zori (came with Terrorcon Bumblebee) and Shining Gra B, and complete the Solar Ion Arrow Super Combo Weapon.
Pure Energon O.P. was given away at Toys 'R Us with the purchase of 3,000 Yen worth of Prime product, during the month of December. Hellflame Gul was again exclusive to AEON, with the purchase of Megatron Darkness from December 1st.
Top 5 Priorities:
1) BW Neo X-7 Elphaorpha
2) BW II VS-18 Powerhug vs. Autocrusher
3) Universe 2003 Night Slash Cheetor
4) RiD Landfill (regular, not the yellow)
5) BW Convobat (red) & Megalligator (purple)
Also looking for any clear Arms Microns, like Shadow (Gora & R.A.), Hellflame and Shining (O.P. and R.A.).

Dang, so the only way to get Hellflame Gul is to blow ~$170 on Darkness Megatron? That sucks.

AEON exclusives are usually packaged with certain toys, I don't think they ever give them out at registers.
