Ok, I've already proven to myself and tested the dodge vs ram questions from my previous posts. However I wanted to know in the end game which tends to do more damage, Firepower or Raw Strength?

Does a weapon do more damage than say pure Fist/Kick action?

Lower end weapons, no.

Higher end weapons yes, they definitely do more damage than a melee attack.

Generally even with strength 10 against an unarmoured opponent the damage will cap out at around 60%. A Fusion Cannon will do more than that.

Depends on the armor they have. The high level armors at 10 tons drop damage to 1.

Str 5 or higher out does 90% of the weapons.

once you can afford 10 str and either 8fpr/2skill, 7fpr/7skl, 10fpr/3 skill, or the elusive 10fpr/10skl then weapons become worth it again

str adds to all weapon damage, but the damage ranges on weapons hinder them instead of helping once your strength does more damage than the weapon allows.

the average damage of punch/kick is better than the variable low end/high end damage once you have a higher strength.
