Random Rant about the RID line

Postby StryderPrime » Wed Feb 08, 2012 12:32 pm

Find me a CJ and WJ yesterday on my way to the gym at a nearby Target.

My question is the RID suppose to be gear toward "the children" more and if that was the case..why do the figures feel so weak when i transform them like i bout to break them?

I thought i was goin to rip cliff forearms off the at one point and i seating here like I know a child is goin to break this thing trying to transform him for the first time.

Another random rant:

Why do all the bots with swords (beside Megatron) lately have horrible shoulder articulation for example Drift, Any StarScream figure with a sword/blade, and now RID Wheeljack?

Maybe you are just so powerful that the plastic doesn't stand a chance in your forceful grip.

"Toys beware the might of StryderPrime. He knows not the limits of his own strength!" :)

Really, they're just toys man, cut them some slack.

Maybe you're just expecting too much from a $12 toy.

Back in my day, you could have yourself a full fledged Gestalt for less money than a couple of Crappuccinos at Starbucks.

Still, for the money paid, I'm expecting a bit of durability. My masterpiece Prime is a beast going 5 years strong and it feels brand new.

Not really a fair comparison, given the massive price difference and the fact that you probably don't play with him like a child would.

I think Stryder has a good point. I've only got a couple of the Prime figs so far, but they do feel a lot flimsier than previous lines. Anyone who has the voyager Megatron will know what I mean; he is very light and feels very brittle.

People have been complaining that the figures feel cheap and brittle for years and I just don't see it. Except with Animated, there was some pretty shoddy work there.

I got the same figures last night, and I don't agree with your description at all.
