Alright, I take that back, obviously there are worse Transformers things than Headmasters. I'd rather have a Headmaster than anything that's been featured on "Plastic Addict", but I really think Headmasters are just an awful idea, especially when they're used for main characters who weren't previously Headmasters as they're apparently planning to with this new "Titans Return" line.
Why would you want a toy of a beloved character whose head you have to pull off in order to transform him? (Exempting the new Powermaster Optimus, because apparently he has enough hollow space that you actually don't have to remove his Headmaster during transformation, thank God) I think the Headmaster Unit in "Animated" really highlighted just how freaking creepy that is. Disregarding the creepiness factor for a while though because, at the end of the day, these are just toys, I thought this fandom hated needless parts-forming. Why do we give a free pass for Headmasters?
Furthermore, if you lose that teeny tiny but all-important Headmaster, you're left with a headless robot. Who the heck wants a headless robot?
I'm sorry, Headmaster fans, you're entitled to your opinion and all, but I just think they're awful and I'm very disappointed in Hasbro for not only including them in the next line but making them the focus and ruining its otherwise perfect-looking new Soundwave and Galvatron for me.

So the thing I keep wondering about John Warden is does he need to go to Transformers boot camp or is he simplifying his statements as he's speaking to more generic press types ?
Like implying Transformers is Takara's property - that is sloppy language use.
Also how can John read anything but the most generic comments about a product line - we do not usually keep conversation about a give product in a single place. if someone reviews a toy comments are usually scarce on that review.
Also take the reviews of the Wave 2 Titan Returns Deluxes - ever single person who reviews them seems to disagree on which figures in that wave are better or worse - so far.
I hope at least he's seeing people say they dislike the rubbery plastic used in inappropriate places.
I love how Bleeding cool had to shoehorn in a diversity comment into a interview about robots - not that is not silly at all.
Is Victorion a Character - really I though she was a plot device.
I still don't know who to blame for that colour scheme the fans for picking it, Hasbro for limiting the voting options in terms of choices and even how you could vote (like forcing people to use facebook on the Titan vote) The colours work great on Rapido - but boy do they look awful on Victorion.
Likely due to the limited amount of accent colours.
Would have saved everyone a lot of trouble if they'd just made her look really girly. with barbie pink and pale purple & light teal. if each robot had been a girly pastel colour that might have worked much better. even a darker purple with teal would have been nice too instead of the Crimson.

If I had to say anything to John i'd say - why didn't you check the tollerances on the titan masters they often just do not fit there are either scary tight or so loose they nearly fall out and they rattle in the socket... that isn't not good design at all. They needed a standard port and a standard head and they just do not have that.
Also when you try to swap the Titanmaster (mini-figures) between the accessory vehicles they just don't fit in many cases. That is just bad design.
