Am I the only one who thinks this looks like a GOOD boxing film?

Looks like medabots the movie, but hey, that's just MY comparison here

I personally think it looks T-E-R-R-I-B-L-E.

In the commercials I've seen, it's like the actors are trying to make it look all serious, but it just looks so corny to me. Hey, the robot-boxing part seems cool, but the surrounding story looks like it's gonna be awful.

Sorry BeastProwl, I didn't mean to come in here and **** on your thread, lol, I just don't think it looks any good.

Yeah, well, to each his own, I mean, I liked District 9, so maybe this will be a B-Movie that's more a Me-Movie? Or who knows, it Could be good! You never know until you see it. unless its Dragon Ball Evolution or The Last Airbender. you don't need to see those to know they suck.

The creators of Robot Chicken are probably laughing their asses off right now. They predicted this. Remember the skit where they had E! showing trailers for new movies based off board games? Hungry, Hungry Hippos... Shoots and Ladders... Slip N Slide...

THIS IS ROCK EM SOCK EM ROBOTS: THE MOVIE.

Because there are obvious similarities. When I first saw the trailer, I honestly thought it was a live-action Rock 'Em Sock 'Em Robots movie.

I saw a trailer for it when I saw either DOTM or Captain America (can't remember which), and I thought it was a Rock'Em Sock'Em Robots movie too. It looks cheesy, but fun, kind of like the live action Speed Racer movie.

Just saw it. and LOVED it! I went in just hoping for a good time and I definitely had that. Surprisingly, the out-of-ring bits were really well put together. I also like how they actually downplayed the advancement of the robots as just an everyday thing. Some directors would have tried to play that up but at this point the robots are every day things. It helps sell the setting.

When I first saw the trailer for Real Steel, I really wanted to see it. But I've heard mixed reactions from this movie from my friends, family and critics. So I just might wait until the movie goes to Danberry, where tickets cost 3 bucks, instead of 9!

I saw it on Friday, and it was a lot of fun. It had a perfect balance of the father-son emotional stuff and the robotic ass-kicking. Definitely worth seeing.

I actually saw this last week and its awesome. Good movie for guys overall, but it's meant to have "emotional" parts. The story is great too. It's not just Rock 'em Sock 'em Robots.

I've wanted to see it since I saw the trailer a month or two before its release. Hopefully I will be able to before it leaves theaters... curse my busy weekends >_<
