If they stop them, then theres no opportunity for consumers to buy them.
Yo adappj28, if I got to
OT over this, I'm sorry too. As I mentioned, I too purchased a KO when the original wasn't available but has since stop doing so. If KO has a good purpose (because Tomy won't commit big sums to restore a mold), they make good spare parts.
Hopefully you'll be able to get a hold on the real McCoy..........you won't regret it.
Now as to check the authenticity of a fig...........it's getting harder to know. Even the
holograms/seal on Lambor look like the real thing. Heck, even the boxes look like the real thing..........probably using the stolen master negatives from the same printing company that manufactures the boxes ( I know about the box negatives because a cousin of mine supplies the official boxes for such items like Horie, Paris Hilton perfumes etc)
It'd be good if the KOs are sold with an indicator or something because, as adppj228 mentioned, it was cheaper right? But some despicable(?) or hoodwinked vendors sell the item at
par with the real McCoy..............now again, that's wrong.
So unless the ebay vendor is a reputable source, avoid those like the plague.
Again, if only the vendors will assure you, the buyer, that the item is a "repro"/ KO, it would be, sort off, OK. But if KO keep increasing in the market, who would be the loser then?
