Hello, all,
I'm trying to repack my Metroplex (TF Generations, Hasbro version), but I don't know how to detach the left arm (which originally comes separately) so that the figure fits in its original box. I've tried to put some pressure on the arm, but I can't get it out--and I don't want to break the hinge in the process. Do you have any suggestions? Thanks!

First off - Welcome to Seibertron!
I'm not sure it's designed to come off the way it goes on. You may want to see if the torso can be taken apart at all so you can try to get in there from a different angle and unclip it that way. The way those clips curve in, I can see them breaking if you try to force it too hard.

Yeah, I was afraid that would be the case... I find it really silly that the box is so dysfunctional--in fact, just one extra inch would suffice to accommodate the figure. Anyway, I'll try to take apart the torso as you suggest. Thank you for the advice and for your kind response!

Cool, I hope it works out. Just remember my one rule of taking these things apart - if it feels like something isn't going to work or like something may break, stop what you're doing!

I think that suggestion is very reasonable.
We can go for that.

This is not always the case! the 2013 SDCC Transfromers GI JOE Crossover Jetfire is not design to be ever taken apart again after you assumable it. I know cause I tired when I was trying to sell it and try to fit it back into the box. but yep can't do it, Even some of the stickers (on the wings)stuck on the wings and the main body so even if you can take off the wings you'll have to cut the stickers.
Anyway so I would be careful with Metroplex. It might not be meant to go back in the box.
Looking for:
