You also have to concider that Magnus was an exclusive. He's more expensive than regular Revoltechs for that reason.

He was the same price as Convoy. If he was more I would have gotten Prime instead. But I figured since they were the same price I might as well break up all the red on my shelves.

Says here he was $5 more expensive. Whatever the case $29.99 is a very good price for any revoltech figure.

But $18-20 is much better. Since the west is most familiar with Transformers (followed by Evangelion, I suppose, and Mazinkaiser when you take Mazinger's worldwide appeal into consideration), the Prime and Magnus tend to be slightly higher in price at certain stores compared to one of the Getters or another mecha. Of course, even now BBTS is starting to charge more for a couple of more popular Revoltech figures (Mazinkaiser, Blue Soltic exclusive, Ingram 1, and Dante), but most of them were and still are $19.99.

You look somewhere like Hobby Link Japan, and they're all the same price except for the exclusives.

Seems like they adjusted the price after preorders we're filled. I paid $24.99 for him.
