I found this at Big Badtoy store.com:

http://www.bigbadtoystore.com/bbts/menu ... ompany=329

The new RoadBot series is manufactured by a 20+ year old company called Happy Well. They design and produce these toys at their sprawling factory complex in China. BBTS has imported samples of the RoadBot series and after close inspection and use, we are happy to announce that the quality of these items is very good! The joints click nicely, body panels fit together tightly, paint and plastic quality is good, and the transformations are fairly complex and challenging.

We only offer high quality items to our valued customers, and we are happy to add RoadBots to our selection. All RoadBots are fully licensed by the respective car manufacturers. The price points are very attractive for items of this size, 1:18 scale figures are surprisingly large and 1:12 scale figures are huge! Even the very picky guys in our vintage department branded them as 'cool' and said they would be buying some.

Each RoadBot has a battery powered light and/or sound weapon, this weapon disassembles into smaller pieces, each of which is stored somewhere within the RoadBot when in vehicle mode! If you enjoy Transformers, Alternators, and other transforming robot toys, be sure to give RoadBots a try - they really are quite cool!

RoadBots are available in three different sizes:

1:32 Scale = 5" to 6" Long with electronic light feature
1:18 Scale = 9" to 11" Long with electronic light & sound features
1:12 Scale = 15" to 16" Long with electronic light & sound features

I like these very much, and as a Transformers fan I can finally use one of these guys to create my own unique character with little to no conversion..I got a friend who makes custom Toy boxes and I am gonna see which Roadbot I want and then I'll probably open it, modify the stickers from Repolabels, and write my own bio, and boom!! My own fan creation to join the Autobots. But as a seperate toy series that takes it's cue from transformers, i gotta say,. these Roadbots are pretty cool!

have you seen the pricing on these!! Good Gosh!! They are like really cheap, 10 bucks for a quality made Alternators type bot, and the large ones are only 20.00 dollars!! these are very affordable and show how easy it is to do car transformers the right way and at good pricing...

I think I want the lambourgini Mercialago, or the Mitsubishi Lancer.. wow!! what a cool toy line. i can't wait to oder my repo labels and convert them into Autobots and decepticons. My friend makes professional Alternators boxes, so this will be my first fan made hero to join my alternators line, i'll post picks once I'm done.

By the way, how do you fix it so your sig image is on and the profile avatar image is seen??

I like the fact that there are 3 sizes to choose from.

Am I a complete TF whore for not wanting these because they aren't in the TF line? That being said, they do look interesting and cleverly-designed. Those weapons are pretty sweet, too!

I should have the Murcielago today or tomorrow I hope. I only ordered one just to test the waters. If I like it, I'll definitely put in an order for some more.

Use small instad of caps in your sig. Like "[ img ]" instead of "[ IMG ]" (ommitting the spaces, of course, and do the same for the closing tag.)

I'd have to look into it more on the Av. Don't have one yet myself.

Avatars aren't working yet. Soon enough thought, soon enough.

Not a fan at all of the crucial parts that pull off(that went out of style after G1, imo); otherwise the molds themselves look OK(not great, but OK). If they come out with one that DOESN'T have part of it's car-mode have to pull off in order to transform I'll look into one seriously.

edit: Lord knows, though, I'd take these designs over the Bayformers.

I like the designs of these, and as a plus, most of them look like they would fit it almost seamlessly with the movie Transformers that are coming out. Almost seamlessly because they actually have heads that look pretty cool unlike some of the movie ones, etc. Starscream or Ratchet.

I finally got my Roadbots in the mail yesterday. They're terrific. In some ways, they top Alternators, though the Alts enjoy slightly greater articulation and sometimes better plastic. The chunks of car that come off generally serve as weapons or shields, which makes for less kibble. The Lambourghini's incredible, and I'm fairly impressed by the little models.

My reason for investing in the Roadbots, though, would be Grim... er, the Land Cruiser. Take a good look at his robot mode. Imagine the head painted black, the chest gold, and the shorts red. See it? Someone else had the same idea and posted pics. Not only does the idea work, but his sword has electronics that make it glow red.

By the way, you can get these guys for less and with next to no shipping here:
http://www.agesthreeandup.com/?p2=shopp ... alog_id=91
Shipping takes about three weeks. Everything arrived via UPS in tip-top shape. I'll probably post pictures once I have some painting done.

Would love to see how the three sizes compare with actual Transformers. Any of them close to a basic or G1 car?
