How soon Hasbro makes it available to retailers and how soon it's on shelves are two different things. Considering how many stores are still selling DOTM figures and still aren't stocking the later Prime waves or any FoC figures beyond Wave 1, I wouldn't expect to see Grimlock in U.S. stores until well after the holidays.

While I know Grimlock is more popular, it kind of bothers me that Blaster is shortpacked, because he'll be that much harder to get. Hopefully there's an even case revision at some point, or Blaster will be that unpopular that he'll be easy to get.

I'm hoping for a Blaster myself: the Universe repaint of Cybertron Soundwave, though pretty cool, pales in comparison to this version.

This seems too good to be true! I have been very excited to get FOC Grimlock and the wait may be shortened now. However, Robotkingdom seems to get figures much sooner than we see them in the States. So, it'll probably still be awhile before he starts popping up here.

This type of move makes sense though because his release will be well timed between post-game release and pre-TFP Season 3/Beast Hunters release. I never understood why Hasbro would hold off on releasing hotly demanded figures down the road when the hype around a movie/show/game was at its peak. Seems like bad business to me, but hey, what do I know...

Yea, that's the problem, alot of these store let their computer systems do all the work, and when they don't see them flying off the shelf's, they don't order more. Forget that The first 2 waves of Primes came with 3 out of 8 being Bumbleebees, so while the other sold quick, 'Bee Warms the shelf till eventually they are all Bees. And barely ever do the workers who put them up realize that if they swap them out, the sell faster. So....we're kinda screwed until Hasbro starts do boxes of 8's in even assortments.

Why is RobotKingdom so special? Where are the preorders on the other online stores?
