It was hinted at the BotCon 2010 Q&A that Generations Kup might be in the making. A twitter update from Transformers insider s250 has nearly solidified the rumor.

With this recent surge of 1987 Movie Transformers in Generations - Blurr, Scourge, Wreck-Gar, and Kup, perhaps more are in the making? Arcee, Springer, we mean you! With the recent splurge of Generations Reveals, we might be seeing our first photos of the rumored Kup in the near future.

One more to buy this Generation/United line is becoming the line of the year to me. Keep going on whit suprises, i'm also wainting for Grapple in this line.

even though i have warbot defender from fans project id love to see a gen version of springer and arcee. im just so waitin for wreck gar.

This is one of the best TF-related rumors I've heard in awhile. I just hope it's true. And I definitely wouldn't mind Arcee or Springer (though doing his Triple Changer-design might be harder in a Deluxe scale). Hopefully they keep making even more great TFs for this line. It's becoming one of my favorites.

Well if there making all the movie transformers for generations, where spike and daniel in the exo suit. Make some mini 1 and a half inch spike and daniel articulated mini figs that come in and out of transforming exo suits. come on, this is long over due.

It's looking like Generations is going to surpass Classics.

Thrust, Dirge, Red Alert, Drift/Blurr, Straxus, Grapple, Jazz, Tracks, Scourge, Perceptor, and Wreck-Gar!

AND they have made new figures or re-issued almost every character that made an appearance in the original movie including the characters I have just listed who were in the movie:

With Botcon Sharkticons, Bumblebee & Cliffjumper (wfc & Altenators), Unicron (Universe/2010 reissue), Soundwave (SDCC G1 reissue + wfc), insecticons, The Cassettes (Encore), Perceptor (Generations + reissue) and Blaster (SDCC reissue).

All but confirmed Kup and Thundercracker in the near future.
And remembering that the Dinobots are slated for reissue next year.....


Which leaves from the movie:

Springer(an official one)?
Shockwave (surely due to his upcoming appearance in Transformers 3 he will get some kind of G1 homage
Arcee(long overdue)?
Blitzwing (come on - you've already done Astrotrain and Octane!)
Devastator (long overdue a decent G1 homage).
Galvatron (surely the next Transformers Masterpiece)

I suppose Hound, Wheelie and Sunstreaker were in there but they have all been well done in the Classics line.

PS I'm not saying that they HAVE to make figures or do a reissue for every character in the movie but with the 2010 thing going on and so few names left on the list I'm trying to be optimistic.

Some of the suggestions are (if history has taught us anything) unlikely - Arcee, Shockwave, Devastator.
But others like Masterpiece Galvatron have a good chance in my opinion.

God I hope they base him off the IDW design...come on Cygar for the win!!!!
